Natural Disasters Strikes: I stockpiled like crazy!-Chapter 161: Memory Fragment
The air shimmered faintly as the safe zone of the Daily Dungeon expanded, pushing back the swirling mist.
From the edge, one could see the protected space grew. The wooden fence, once standing at the very edge of the safe zone, shuddered and groaned as the expansion took hold. The posts creaked, stretching outward as if adjusting to the new land.
The chicken coops once near the northern edge were now comfortably centered within expanded space. The hens, let out commanding clucks, guiding the Mist Kernel Chicks forward, they scattered excitedly, pecking at the newly uncovered earth.
The wooden beams of the cow enclosure creaked and groaned, expanding outside as new grazing land was revealed.
The enclosure’s stone water tough shifted, moving slightly to a newly formed irrigation canal.
At the far end of the safe zone, two meters from the fences, the earth beneath rumbled and a structure emerged-weather but intact, it was the very cottage Nanzhi found in the deep woods of the Misty land, making the animal startled.

The new space stretched wide in a total of 2, 500 square meters.
Nanzhi, however, remained unaware of these changes. She was still in the Game Lobby absorbing the memory fragment. She didn’t know how long she had been absorbing it, but in the midst of it, her consciousness was transported into her Mind Palace.
Previously, it had been dark except for the spot beneath her feet, and she only knew that there were nine solid structures in her Mind Palace.
Now, two-ninths of the Mind Palace were illuminated.
The strands of energy had turned into floating orbs.
From where she stood, she could see two cracked and eroded four-meter monoliths carved from an unknown black stone.
Nanzhi approached cautiously, and the moment her palm touched the first monolith, cracks began to mend, and silver patterns formed, like veins appearing and shifting, glowing as if alive. Strange floating glyphs hovered around it, pulsing along its surface.
She couldn’t recognize the language of the glyphs, but somehow, like during the system glitch incident, they formed readable words in her mind:
"Don’t rely too much on brute force."
"Power without adaptability is weakness."
Nanzhi wanted to read more, but as she tried to, her senses tingled, and she quickly leapt to the side.
A black shadow appeared atop the first monolith, and an invisible blade formed in the air. The shadow flicked its finger, and the blades flew toward her in an unpredictable arc.
Nanzhi’s lips twitched. Others’ mind palaces were rejuvenating places, but hers seemed intent on (mentally) killing her!
She dodged and counterattacked, condensing her mental power into a needle to deflect the blade. But when her mental needle collided with the opponent’s blade, it only passed through, striking the monolith.
Startled, Nanzhi was left to evade the mental attack. She wasn’t discouraged or disappointed. In fact, she was curious and excited.
Because it was winter, her practice targets were limited. She had once suggested to Lin Weihao that they have a sparring match, but he had turned to rest on the couch before she could finish her sentence.
Wasn’t this like a free training session?!
Heh.
Nanzhi grinned.
The shadow repeated the same phrases as before:
"Don’t rely too much on brute force."
"Power without adaptability is weakness."
The shadow didn’t give her another moment of respite before launching another attack.
Nanzhi’s eyes narrowed.
Without giving her time to recover, the shadow launched another attack. Nanzhi’s eyes narrowed with determination. This was her chance, her opportunity to learn and grow. She wasn’t going to let it slip away.
Meanwhile, in the real world, Lin Weihao was taking full advantage of their partnership. He had been shamelessly sleeping in her bedroom overnight, making himself comfortable like he owned the place.
And today was no different. Newly bathed and dressed in his silk pajamas, he leaned against the headboard of her bed, looking every bit the pampered aristocrat. His glasses perched on his nose as he held a book in one hand, waiting for her to finish whatever it was she was doing.
Suddenly, the bed bounced, and Nanzhi appeared, drenched in sweat, her face pale as she collapsed onto the bed, face-first. The exhaustion from her Mind Palace training had taken its toll.
"Zhi Zhi, are you okay? Who bullied you?" Lin Weihao asked, his voice filled with concern as he looked down at her.
With a weak lift of her hand, Nanzhi made a small "OK" sign, but no words came. Only deep, labored breaths escaped her mouth. Training in the Mind Palace was ten times more exhausting than anything she had ever done in the physical world.
With trembling hands, she grabbed the sleeve of Lin Weihao’s pajamas, looking up at him with a silent request for a sparring match once the weather cleared. But as her fingers brushed against his skin, a sudden rush of images surged into her mind.
She saw the faces of a pack of white wolves, their eyes glowing with hunger as they snarled at her. She saw a snow-covered city, and in her hands, she dragged the corpses of the wolves through the frozen streets. She saw a small room with a fireplace, filled with wolf pelts. The images were so vivid, so real, that they left her breathless.
Lin Weihao, sensing something was wrong, took off his glasses and set his book aside. "Zhi Zhi? What’s the matter?"
Before she could process the images fully, they disappeared. She tried to touch him again, but no more images appeared. Was it because she hadn’t touched him enough?
Nanzhi’s fingers crept slowly onto his arm, and again, a new image flashed—this time, a sound, but it was fleeting and gone before she could identify it.
Nanzhi: "..."
Lin Weihao, still puzzled by her strange behavior, was about to ask when, in the next second, she suddenly became more… assertive.
"W-what are you doing?" Lin Weihao stammered, confused by her sudden shift. Why was she acting like this?
"Stay still! Don’t move!" Nanzhi closed her eyes, her hands now moving over his body with purpose.
Lin Weihao froze, his entire body stiffening. Her hands wandered across his neck, the touch of her calloused skin sending a strange sensation through him. The warmth of her hands felt like fire, burning him wherever they touched, leaving behind a trail of heat as though he’d been bitten by fire ants.
How could he stay still in this situation?!
This was unlike anything she had ever done before. Was this… seduction?
Zhi Zhi! You should be responsible for my chastity!
That night, Lin Weihao was tortured—his body wracked with confusion and desire—while the torturer slept soundly beside him, having claimed victory in the most unexpected of ways.
Lin Weihao turned over in bed, propping his cheek on his palm. His eyes, tender and filled with grievance, looked at Nanzhi. He lightly grazed the tip of her nose with his finger and murmured softly, "Are you full?"
