"What are you waiting for, Chief Grey? Quickly untie it and let us get this over with." Jasmine’s sweet voice drifted from the front.

Grey froze.

"Why would I need to undress you down to the hexcore?" he asked, momentarily speechless.

He was a growing young man. If he were any less composed, he would have already misunderstood her intention and done something entirely different by now.

He was healthy, a true dragon through and through. Women who spoke in such easily misunderstood ways were dangerous to one’s dao heart.

"Chief Grey, there is no need to go that far. We are not here for such intimate matters under the sun. Those are things reserved for somewhere far more private." Jasmine chuckled softly. "Just untie two threads and you will be able to see the hexcore more clearly."

"Tch." Grey clicked his tongue. This woman was far too good with her words.

And honestly, he liked confident women like her.

Every woman around him carried confidence of her own. One was a CEO, one a dragon, one a god, and each stood firmly in her own domain.

Valeria was confident in her management. Alissa in her strength. Lia in her authority as a god.

Shaking off his thoughts, Grey stepped behind Jasmine and carefully untied two threads of her gown. The fabric loosened slightly, and Jasmine immediately drew her hands closer to herself.

"Kyahh, Chief Grey, my gown has loosened. If you come around to the front, you might end up seeing my breasts." Jasmine’s playful voice rang out.

"Who wants to see your breasts?" Grey said darkly as he adjusted her clothes slightly. Immediately, he saw a hexagonal core behind her.

It was merged with her skin and did not look out of place, except that it was obsidian and grey in color, etched with special runes.

"Chief Grey, if you want, you can touch it as well." Jasmine’s teasing voice came from the front.

"Do you just allow any man to touch your body like that?" Grey asked casually as he observed the hexcore.

Just looking at it was not enough.

He needed to use his mind perception to observe the inside of the hexcore.

Just as he was about to activate it, Jasmine suddenly turned around, a slightly annoyed expression on her face.

’Did she get offended by that?’ Grey was surprised, but could his train of thought be blamed?

Who would do such things to someone they had just met?

Should things like this be done on the first meeting?

"I just thought it was strange that you would let a man you just met see your body and even touch it." Grey replied.

"It’s not like that." Jasmine said. "I’m not some girl like that who would let anyone touch me."

"I have my pride as well." She smiled. "But you are different."

"Being close to you, my heart stirred for the first time when I saw you up close. I feel a sense of connection to you."

"I feel a sense of safety around you, something i didn’t have after crossing over to here. Maybe I might have fallen in love with you, Chief Grey." Jasmine said with a chuckle.

"Oh." Grey looked at her strangely.

That made sense. He felt a sense of closeness to Jasmine as well. As she described, his heart had stirred too.

But that stir in the heart was not related to love, that’s for sure.

"Could it be related to your physique?" Grey asked.

"Related to my physique?" Jasmine replied in confusion.

"Oh, you didn’t know?" Grey tilted his head.

"You have a rare physique known as the Future One Physique."

"A rare physique called the Future One Physique?" Jasmine spoke as she cupped her loosened gown. It was extremely loose, and Grey could see through the narrow gap.

"Yeah. I have no idea what it does, only that it is obtained by traveling to the past from the future, or rather, more accurately, simply traveling to the past can help one acquire this physique."

"It might be the reason you felt a strange connection to me." Grey said.

But he himself was puzzled.

Why would he feel a connection to her over a physique?

As far as he was concerned, he did not possess any physiques.
