Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven-Chapter 392: An Abyssal Feast
"The starry sky." Grey was excited for this.
The galaxy he was in was just a part that was cut off from the main part of the starry sky years ago.
He couldn’t wait to enter the other side.
With that said, Grey observed the second layer a bit more. So far, there wasn’t any civilization here, nor were there any signs of the Abyss present.
With this, things became smoother.
Starting now, this was his turf. He would do something like Eterna suggested and try to combine the first and second layers in a way that allows one to travel there and even form connections with the second layer.
His plan hadn’t changed.
Spread his path, and while at it, he would conquer planets and eventually have his own personal domain.
"Let’s go deal with the Abyssal Whale," Grey said with a smile.
Eterna affirmed.
She had already released the chains binding the Abyssal Whale in the second layer of space of the Blue Star.
She unbound it because, by this point, it was no longer necessary to keep it in place.
There was a bigger being’s presence here now.
Grey shot into the Blue Star as he combined two spatial nodes. Without hesitation, he broke them apart, and within seconds, he was right inside the second layer of space.
And right now, the entire second layer of space was filled with a dark Abyssal miasma.
Grey knew where it came from. This came directly from the True Abyssal Whale that was now eyeing Grey.
"What a peculiar creature," Grey said with a smile as he observed the structure of the whale.
This was a True Abyssal Creature.
There were, after all, different forms of Abyssal beings. One was the sentient humanoid Abyssal race; True Abyssal Lords and such were derived from this type. Then there was the beast type, commonly known as the True Abyssal Lord.
After that came the final creation of the Abyssal God.
The Lesser Heavens.
It was the ultimate source of existence in the Abyss.
They were revered and worshipped because they were molded directly by the Abyssal God himself.
Vaurrrrmrmm!
The following instant, the second layer of space began to shake heavily. The secret realms around the Blue Star, which were mostly filled with 2nd Rank or 3rd Rank beasts, directly collapsed one by one.
But just then, silver-purple brilliance erupted out of Grey, and immediately, the Abyssal energy raging across the second layer slowly calmed down and then completely broke apart.
Vaurmmmm!
The Abyssal Whale reacted. It waved its massive fins as it flew towards Grey with world-ending power.
"You are weak too," Grey said with a snort.
The True Abyssal Whale was also only at the 1st Level of the 5th Rank.
"It is a pity. I really wanted to use my domain," Grey sighed.
He hadn’t met anyone strong enough to force him to use his domain yet.
Hopefully, he would find someone worthy of him unleashing his full power soon.
By the time he finished musing, the True Abyssal Whale was right in front of him.
Boom!
A light of destruction and entropy shot out from its mouth as it pierced through the chaotic currents of space and directly landed on Grey.
Light flashed, and the chaotic currents were put in disorder.
But just as quickly, the disorder cleared and revealed Grey and Eterna still standing in their place without a scratch.
The Abyssal Whale was stunned, but it recovered just as quickly as it tried to unleash another attack.
However, it abruptly froze mid-way.
A crushing pressure descended onto the Abyssal Whale from all four directions. Eventually, the weight placed on it collapsed completely, the chaotic currents broke apart, and a singularity was formed at the place where the True Abyssal Whale was.
The whale collapsed into a miniature black hole.
But the second layer stabilized just as quickly, and within seconds, the black hole vanished.
"With this, the looming threat of the Abyss in the second layer of space is already cleared," Grey said with a smile forming on his face.
"Now there is only one thing left to do," Grey said as his gaze peered into the Everspirit Continent of the Blue Star.
It was barren. There were not even beasts roaming around because the corruption fields had already ruined them.
It was the same case for the Skyfall Continent as well.
Above the Everspirit Continent, there was a crack. This crack was made with World Breaking Source Power.
"You stay here," Grey glanced at Eterna and spoke. "I will be right back."
"Wait!" Eterna swiftly called out to Grey.
But he was already gone.
Whrmm!
Grey’s figure drilled straight into the crack, and soon he arrived on the other side.
"Are you sure we should be entering the Abyss like this, Grey? Especially after what happened with the Abyssal God?"
"We will leave quickly," Grey said as power surged out from him.
Before him lay several planets.
He was here to devour the planets to get stronger.
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Fragment. We cannot miss it."
Grey didn’t care for the billions of Abyssal lives below. He transformed into his draconic form and slapped one of the planets. Immediately, it crumbled, and he directly absorbed its essence.
Whrmm!
The Lesser Heaven’s powers were swift. Immediately, his three aspects began to strengthen rapidly.
Within seconds, his power increased a bit.
But it wasn’t enough.
He eyed the other planet close by.
By now, the Abyssal beings there had already noticed the destruction of one of their planets. Several powerful 5th Rankers and 4th Rankers shot to the sky, ready to fight the colossal dragon that had descended.
"Hmph." Grey only snorted once, but all of them instantly disintegrated. With a flicker, he was right beside the second planet.
This one was several times bigger than the Blue Star.
Without hesitation, he swallowed it.
Boom!
Even more power coursed through Grey.
"Hey, isn’t this enough?" Fragment came forward and warned Grey. "I think we should leave now. We have already devoured two."
"I just need one more." Grey’s eyes shot open. There was one more planet nearby; the next one was a bit far away.
Without hesitation, he shot forward and used Devourer of Chaos.
There was no stopping, no hesitation. He was like a hungry teenager coming back home after a soccer match, eating food without pause.
As soon as Grey began the devouring process, he fled.
He didn’t dare to stay any longer.
Within a few seconds, he reached back to the portal.
And the instant he did, a chill ran down his spine.
"Not good!" The Fragment’s concerned voice came. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
However, Grey was a step faster.
Boom!
A terrifying attack directly fell near the portal.
However, by the time it dispersed, the portal had already closed.
