No One Will Ever Hurt You Again I Promise-Chapter 48: Marc And His Good Mood
Before a small smile found its way onto his handsome, manly face, Marc took a quick look at his would-be son, whom he adores with all his being. He’s only a child, he says to himself, but he acts like an adult all the time and it’s not good. Later it will be too late for him and I don’t want my son to become bitter and embittered because of a failed youth. after reflection he speaks again, deciding to give a little freedom to this boy who only thinks of others. After all, he had a bit of this right since his father, the king, entrusted his education to him without blinking.
"Your whole heart wants him, so as long as you struggle to keep him away from you, your powers will grow and play tricks on you to bring you back to him every time."
"Yeah, it sounds good, and you’re right. Everything you say has sense, but I don’t know what to do, whether it’s for my father, Aike’s parents, Ayke, or myself, which means my powers."
Now I understand why I called him Lugh when we were kids. When we were in Yolpem, Lugh always had two sides: a cheeky and intense side and a calm, caring, and protective side. His intriguing side certainly attracted me, but not as much as I liked the other part, and today I am afraid that these two sides will oppose each other because of me.
Ayke is the opposite of Aike. Despite their differences, I still like them both, and it is my fault that their twinning bond broke. I don’t know how to fix it yet. I feel that they have already seen the change. Aike almost died. If I hadn’t accessed his dreams, he could have been forever stuck in that closet without him knowing what had happened, and that saddens me each time I think of it.
The worst thing is that I don’t want him to know who I am. I don’t want him to feel obligated to love me because he’s already been under my spell once. I want it to be different so that he is sure of his feelings, and I, too, want to know how much I... these feelings that bind us are accurate and frank.
Marc smiles. He knows what Howie will say, but he is careful not to finish his sentence and change it to something less personal. That’s all, my son. He said in his head, still smiling.
You know what, big guy, you made a good decision, but you have to see that no matter what you do, what is written will happen, but you can make some changes if you know what it is.
It’s like the rules of the law; as long as you know the law and the rules, you’ll learn how to bend them without getting caught. You have this advantage; you know Lugh and the twins, so take advantage of the moment they are not yet aware of their inner strength to prepare your way to their hearts. You already know Ayke will be nothing but a dear friend to you; for Aike, he represents everything you want.
To conquer them, you must define each other’s place in your lives and stop playing these unhealthy games with Ayke. You are the same; that’s why you are closer.
Howie chuckled softly at his father’s words. Dad, I like Raphael, but he’s too stuck-up and calculating. He’s not like Ayke and Oleck; he’s way too tense, but he’s a good friend without prejudice or complexity. It’s not unhealthy at all. It’s just that it’s fun to talk to and play with him without it bothering him; he’s the first person I feel so close to and able to do such awkward things without worrying us.
Oleck is just an ace, but he is fine. I like to hear him talk, even if sometimes he makes me want to wring his neck like a chicken. He encourages them all the time to be themselves.
Yeah, your friends are fun and exciting, but if you want your position between the twins to be clear and precise, you need to stop flirting with Ayke. After all, they were the same before. Who knows if he doesn’t love you as his brother sees you?
I see it’s crucial what you said. I have to be careful, and how can I be cautious without being abrupt and making him feel like I’m rejecting him?
Don’t worry about it. I believe in you, and I’m sure you’ll find a way to fix everything. And we’re not going to wring anyone’s neck either; I don’t want you to get involved in any other fights or scandals. You have a reputation to keep. You have to stay clean.
I know, dad, and that’s why I can’t get distracted by the feelings of my classmates, let alone their mother, who is a ticking time bomb. She is just waiting for a little slip-up to go after the boys. I don’t want her to hurt them either physically or morally. Their father is far too weak to protect them from her, even if he keeps their secret for himself.
What do you mean? You mean he knows how to tell them apart, right?
Yes, he knows, but he never mentions it. I’ve seen how he reacts when he’s forced us to spend a few moments one-on-one with him for dinner. When he talks to Ayke, and it’s Aike who answers, he smiles all the time. You will notice a very discreet little smirk on his lips if you pay attention to him.
And I always watch his every move. I don’t understand why he wants to see us together so much, and day by day, he becomes much more comfortable in my presence.
He no longer feels threatened by my presence, he no longer tries to test me on different types of subjects as if we were fierce opponents, but he still has this childish side. He doesn’t fight with me for a place or an opinion. He listens to me attentively now and even asks me much more personal questions.
Howie doesn’t understand why he bursts into laughter after what he told him. Maybe it’s because he and Alfred could talk to each other, and now things are almost back to normal between them, except that Alfred is much younger. Thankfully, this morning, he was thrilled to make jokes.
It’s not a problem because he always considered him as such, but Alfred saw him differently. This is why they moved away from each other during their nightclub outing.
This evening, when Alfred was stabbed in the place of someone else, he doesn’t know who, but he was lucky enough to have been helped by Theo and his pack despite the danger he could represent to them.
He was always running off to hang around the school, hoping to run into the twins. Even this time, he sneaked into the parking lot where he saw Howie. He didn’t see it as luck before; he didn’t understand why he couldn’t die instead of coming back like a bloodthirsty monster, like those freaks who saved his life and gave him a second chance by transforming him.
And on the full moon night that brought the boys to cross Rufus, they were all looking for him because he ran away from the basement while on Ricky’s watch. They didn’t want him to cause them some serious problems. The full moon and uncontrollable emotions such as anger, grief, and panic are cases of involuntary transformations of Rufus. And at the full moon, they become violent when they conflict with themselves.
Marc regretted acting abruptly when Alfred brushed his arm, looking at him with his doe eyes. It was nothing, almost harmless, yet he just pulled his arm away suddenly, which was within reach of Alfred, and without a second thought, he moved away from him, mingling with the crowd gathered on the dance floor. He got so carried away that he kissed and fucked in the club toilets.
When Alfred saw him walking away with the girl, he thought he was stupid to do such a thing. Then he got out because he was choking.
He didn’t know how he would have to face Marc after what happened, and Marc had realized his lack of professionalism the minute he penetrated the girl leaning in front of him. She was impatient to feel this rigid member inside her that she caressed on the dance floor, to offer him her sexual orifices. She didn’t even care that he penetrated her anally. She just wanted to test this hellish manhood she touched.
When Marc was about to start over to satisfy the beast within him, it was already too late for Alfred. And it was the very attack that ended their leg-up game in the most unimaginable of positions. The girl was greedy and even insatiable. She never had a hit with someone so experienced and talented. She could spend the whole night letting him fuck her until nothing was left of her because the experience was worth it.
So, when he learned from the boys that Alfred was still alive and no longer the same as before, he sighed with relief and concern at the same time, and a weight that he had carried for days on his shoulders was finally able to lighten up. But something still bothered him. It was to face Alfred and ask for his forgiveness, not to mention that it was his fault that he ended up in such a mess. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
After a few awkward moments between them, they finally found their rhythm. Alfred apologized to Marc, which allowed Marc to do the same. And yesterday, they spent a day together talking and making him understand his abilities and privileges so that he could better support his transformations and control them as he pleased.
That’s why he’s so happy this morning; he found his friend again. Although he’s younger than before, that’s not what’s important. He thinks that’s even a good thing; the latter will finally have a chance to live his life like all children. He has not had enough time to grow up and live like all kids by enjoying the benefits of childhood and adolescence.
Who knows the beaten dog’s mood he would have had this morning if everything was complicated and tense between him and Alfred? But this good state of mind that animates him this morning, on the one hand, is a good thing. He knows how to keep his cool to talk to his children since he has two under his responsibilities these last few days. He offers them support and advice. He listens to them and understands them, even if he enjoys seeing them tormented by their feelings like love, doubt, and others. Since it’s their age, they must have gone through these moments of doubt and confusion.
