No Trespassing! My Aloof Brother-Chapter 560 - 558 Final Battle [5 updates]
But once Sophia Bennett’s demonstration ended, everyone was stunned, staring wide-eyed at the three people at the bar.
At this moment, Liam Spencer was holding Maya Spencer in his arms, but his arm was being hugged by this girl named Sophia Bennett.
If their judgment wasn’t wrong, Maya had a love rival, and this rival seemed quite formidable, because she had the nerve to declare war on Maya in public.
Ella Turner saw this and was unhappy. She quickly approached the bar and hurriedly pulled Sophia’s hand off Liam’s arm, explaining, "Miss, Liam already has a girlfriend. It would be better for you to pursue someone else."
"What? Are you standing up for Maya? That man seems to be your boyfriend, right? How about this, I won’t pursue Liam, I’ll go after your boyfriend instead, how about that?" Sophia didn’t back down in the face of Ella’s warning, and instead, she provoked Ella further.
She wanted to see how Ella would protect Maya—would she let her take her boyfriend instead? It had been a long time since she’d seen such a sentimental best-friend drama.
Ella, infuriated by Sophia’s brazen words, said bluntly, "Sorry, but you don’t stand a chance with my boyfriend either."
"Ella does seem a bit like you," Liam whispered his opinion in Maya’s ear, seeing Ella stand up for her.
Maya glared at her gloating brother and said irritably, "You still have the nerve to be amused, this is all your fault."
Immediately after, Maya pulled Ella back to her side and explained, "Ella, just ignore her. She can’t make much trouble, no one will chase after her."
"Maya, don’t speak too soon, or you’ll regret it when it backfires," Sophia seemed determined to have a showdown with Maya.
"You won’t have the chance to make me eat my words." Maya was too lazy to argue with Sophia. After all, this girl wouldn’t be able to take Liam nor Elijah away.
"Sophia, stop fooling around and be serious, okay? Let me introduce you, this is my girlfriend, Seven Murray," Ian Hobbs found it impossible to deal with the girl in front of him.
He guessed that with Sophia’s carefree nature, she might end up chasing all six of the S City’s young elites one by one.
"Miss Bennett, hello!" Although Seven already guessed Sophia’s relationship with Ian, as well as with Liam and Maya, she still gave Sophia some face and greeted her politely.
"Hello!" Sophia wasn’t targeting Ian at the moment, so she was quite polite to Seven.
"Sister-in-law, are you worried now that a love rival has appeared? This Sophia seems to be Chairman Bennett’s niece, with some background," Hudson Moore cautiously reminded Maya. It was his first time seeing such an audacious girl, her impudence was astonishing, and her skin was thick.
"No problem." Maya wasn’t bothered by Sophia at all.
A moment later, the little commotion Sophia stirred up ended, everyone went about their own fun, and no one paid Sophia any attention.
Sophia felt awkward staying at the bar, unable to chat with anyone. If she were to say whom she was closest to, it would be Maya.
So she sat next to Maya, tugging at her clothes, saying, "Maya, talk to me."
"Sorry, I’m not in the mood to talk to you," Maya refused.
Seeing Maya’s reaction, Sophia immediately jumped down from her high stool, stood in front of Maya, pinched her face, and ordered, "Maya, I told you to chat with me, can’t you hear? Introduce these people to me, who are they and what do they do."
Sophia had been abroad for a long time and only recently returned. Apart from having chased a few boys, she knew almost nothing about S City.
After Sophia pinched her face, Maya wasn’t to be outdone; she also raised her right hand to pinch Sophia’s face and ordered, "Sophia, if you’re bored, just go home, stop being an eyesore here."
"No way, I’m not leaving Liam with you, I’m at war with you, there’s no way I’ll let you have your way," Sophia squeezed Maya harder in response to her pinch.
"Didn’t you see that my brother has no eyes for you? If you want to embarrass yourself, I won’t stop you; after all, it’s not my face on the line," Maya said, pinching Sophia’s face even more forcefully.
Off to the side, Christopher Scott, drinking in silence, watched as the two women suddenly started a catfight, feeling both exasperated and helpless.
He glanced Sophia up and down several times and couldn’t help but admire her audacity; she was quite the character.
In the next moment, Christopher sighed deeply, got up unsteadily from his chair, walked over to Maya and Sophia, and wearily encouraged, grabbing Sophia’s wrist with his left hand, Maya’s with his right hand: "Let go, both of you."
"She lets go first," the two girls said in unison.
"Sweetheart, listen, you let go first. If you do and she still pinches you, I’ll help you teach her a lesson," Christopher persuaded Maya to let go first, as Sophia was an outsider.
Maya, looking at Sophia’s arrogant little face, gave her a sharp pinch before letting go of her small face.
However, Sophia was still holding onto Maya’s face and hadn’t let go.
Maya wasn’t having it, she immediately glanced at Christopher and commanded, "Christopher, teach her a lesson."
Seeing that Sophia had no intention of letting go, Christopher scowled and said, "I’ll count to three. If you haven’t let go of Maya by then, don’t blame me for being rude."
"You wouldn’t dare. If you hit me, my uncle won’t let you off," Sophia, upon seeing Christopher’s serious expression, immediately tried to use James Bennett as a threat.
Christopher took a deep breath, not caring who her uncle was, and raised his right hand, prepared to bring it down on Sophia.
Sophia, staring at Christopher’s fist, was so frightened that her breath almost caught; she quickly released her grip on Maya’s face and protected her head, afraid that Christopher might actually hit her.
"Pff..." Christopher couldn’t help but laugh at her actions.
In truth, he never intended to hit Sophia; he was merely scaring her. He wasn’t in the habit of hitting women.
Sophia, with her eyes tightly shut, awaited Christopher’s fist that never came.
So, cautiously, she opened her eyes, only to see Christopher with a helpless smile at the corner of his mouth.
The man’s smile was charming, with a touch of roguishness. Sophia instantly became dazed, staring silly at Christopher, her mind a bit blank.
Christopher, seeing the girl stunned by his scare, shook his head helplessly, raised his right hand, and lightly tapped her forehead with his fingers, warning, "Little troublemaker, behave yourself."
When Christopher’s finger poked her forehead, Sophia’s heart raced as if about to explode; she felt as though she couldn’t breathe.
Although Sophia had pursued quite a few men, Christopher was the first to look at her with such helpless eyes, and even smile and poke her with his finger.
Sophia’s heart couldn’t take it; her face turned crimson, as if she’d done something wrong, feeling incredibly guilty, with her gaze fixed on Christopher for a long time.
