Chapter 137: It Was An Einsam

Following that, he kept ravaging the demon woman as her ex husband turned into a husk of his former self. Leo felt her the demon woman’s pussy clamp down while she let out an erotic moan, ’’Mmmmmhh~~.’’

This continued for hours until Veladra’s body was trembling beyond her control as she slumped to the floor. He grinned when seeing this before scooping her into a princess carry before turning to Thalraxus.

The demon man was trying to stand, but Leo approached him with a knowing expression before pointing a finger at the broken Lord of Abyss. ’’Now die. I have no need for you.’’

Without hesitation, Atlas unleashed a fully charged Eldritch Blast, the crackling energy surging through the air with a deafening roar. The projectile struck its mark with pinpoint precision, boring a clean hole through the enemy’s forehead.

The lifeless body crumpled to the ground, the eerie glow of the attack still fading from the air. Veladra, who had been watching the scene unfold, broke into a fit of delighted laughter, her voice ringing out like a melody of chaos.

Her crimson eyes gleaming with pride and amusement, and wrapped her arms around Atlas’s shoulders, pulling him close. ’’That was perfect, my love,’’ she purred, her tone both playful and sultry. ’’You never fail to impress me.’’

Following that, Leo returned to Astra and let Veladra down, causing the Demon Queen to laugh before asking, ’’Did you deal with Thalraxus?’’

’’Yes, he’s dead,’’ he replied and slapped the red-skinned beauty’s ass while turning to Astra, who was giggling. ’’Now how big is the Alliance army and is there anyone stronger than me?’’

Astra nodded and quickly revealed, ’’A few million soldiers and yes, there are five people that could beat you in a battle.’’

Leo’s eyebrow rose before questioning, ’’Who are they?’’

’’I only know one of them,’’ the white-haired woman answered. ’’Arabella, the Guardian of the Elven Empire.’’

’’Interesting,’’ he muttered as his blue eyes gleamed in excitement. ’’I’ll go get stronger by fighting Titans.’’

When Astra and Veladra’s eyes widened in surprise before the red-skinned woman questioned in a worried tone, ’’Some are stronger than you and Arabella you know?’’

Leo waved her away with a confident expression. ’’If I don’t fight stronger enemies, then I’ll never be stronger than the Alliance Guardians.’’

The two women nodded in understanding as he gave them a kiss each before leaving the castle behind and took to the sky. Following that, he flew for an hour until reaching the Northern Wilds that Veladra told him around.

’Hopefully I can beat up more Titans,’ Leo pondered while glancing around. ’Let’s look for some monsters.’

Seconds later, he continued flying across the sky until spotted a group of Polar Bear-like monsters roaming around. This caught his attention instantly, as the creatures seemed powerful.

Leo swooped down from the sky, his landing sending a shockwave through the frozen ground. The impact caught the attention of the massive beasts, their hulking forms towering over the snow like living mountains.

The first monster skidded to a halt, its dark red eyes fixing on him in shock. Each one was as large as a rhino back on Earth. The leader of the pack stepped forward, rearing up on its hind legs.

It unleashed a deafening roar, a sound that reverberated through the icy expanse and sent shivers through the air. But Leo remained unfazed. With lightning speed, he darted forward and delivered a devastating punch to the beast’s chest.

The force of the blow was unimaginable, sending the massive creature hurtling through the air like a cannonball. It crashed into the distant snow with an earth-shaking thud. All the remaining monsters froze, their snarls replaced by a stunned silence as they stared at him.

Leo turned to them with a smirk before warning, ’’If any of you move, I’ll kill whoever does.’’

Just as the words left his lips, one monster rushed off and he hit it with a fully charged Eldritch Blast that tore it apart. The explosion shook the ground, causing all the bears to freeze like statues just as the leader joined them.

"Point proven," he chuckled, looking at the biggest bear. ’’Now, if you don’t want another punch, you’ll submit and fight in my growing army.’’

When the polar bear monster heard this, its head tilted as a male voice rang out in his mind, ’We’ll join you. No more killing.’

[Frostbears tamed]

Leo agreed with a nod before opening a portal to the domain and ushered them through. ’’No, go find a new home. There are too many beasts in there now, so eat as much as you want.’’

While standing there, something sent shivers up his spine, causing him to stand around, only to be shocked by the figure standing there. Happiness, sadness, and a storm of emotions swirled inside.

Leo shook his head and spoke with a smile, ’’Grandfather, how are you here?’’

The old man, his salt-and-pepper hair glinting in the firelight, chuckled softly, though there was a hint of sadness in his eyes. ’’I see you’re enjoying your new life, Leonardo,’’ he said, his voice calm yet carrying the weight of his words.

After a few seconds, he continued, ’’But is this truly what you want? To become the villain of a new world and terrorize innocents?’’

Leo’s jaw tightened, his fists clenching as he snapped back, ’’What are you talking about, old man? They want to kill me! I can’t just stand by and let that happen!’’

His grandfather sighed deeply, shaking his head. ’’I’m disappointed in you, boy. I thought I taught you better than this. Strength isn’t just about surviving, it’s about choosing the right path, no matter how difficult.’’

Leo’s anger flared, his voice rising with emotion. ’’And what was I supposed to do?!’’ he shouted. ’’I was summoned here, fought for their empire, bled for them, and they turned on me! They betrayed me!"

The weight of his words hung in the air as he continued, his voice cracking under the strain of buried pain. ’’You left me with my parents! They didn’t care about me. They didn’t teach me how to be strong, how to survive. You were the only one who did!’’

His grandfather shook his head, his eyes cold as he delivered words that cut deeper than any blade. ’’You’re a failure. No wonder your parents hated you.’’

For a moment, the world seemed to stop. Those words echoed in Leo’s mind, igniting a storm of rage and pain that had been simmering beneath the surface. His vision blurred with fury as he clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white.

’’I’M NOT A FAILURE!’’ he roared, his voice shaking the very air around him. Unable to contain the surge of emotion, Leo lunged forward and unleashed his full power with a devastating California Smash.

The impact was cataclysmic. A deafening boom echoed through the landscape as a shockwave tore through the air, scattering debris and leaving a crater where the old man once stood.

As the dust settled, Leo stood there, panting heavily, his hands trembling. Regret hit him like a tidal wave. He stared at the spot where his grandfather had been, his mind racing with the consequences of his actions.

But then he saw it, a faint, spirit-like form dissipating into the air, its features eerily serene. Leo froze, his fury replaced by confusion. ’’What... what was that?’’ he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper.

’’It was an Einsam, my love,’’ a woman’s sweet voice echoed in his ear.

Leo turned around, his heart heavy, and froze when he saw the Dark Goddess standing there, her expression laced with worry. Without a word, she stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him, holding him in a firm yet gentle embrace.

Her voice was soft as she said, ’’They are horrible creatures that twist memories, feeding on someone’s deepest pain until death. Your grandfather would never think such a thing. He never hated you, Leo.’’

Her words struck him like a dagger to the soul. He couldn’t respond, his voice lost as the floodgates of his mind opened. Memories of his grandfather surged forward, every lesson, every word of encouragement, every moment of quiet understanding.

The warmth of those times washed over him, but with it came the bitter ache of loss. He saw his grandfather’s kind eyes, the steady hands that had guided him throughout life, the way he had always stood tall, even in the face of suffering.

Then, Leo saw the day it all ended. That day, the world left him alone. His chest tightened. ’’Why?’’ he whispered hoarsely, his voice trembling. ’’Why did he have to leave me?’’

The Dark Goddess held him closer. ’’I don’t have the answers, Leo. But I know this: he loved you. He believed in you. And he would want you to remember that, no matter how dark things seem.’’
