Minutes later, his soldiers returned with the dead that they converted to Demonic Knights, which shocked the two elves. Leo waved it away as the new troops knelt in respect before returning to his shadow.

’’They would be rotting in the ground if I didn’t bring them back and their warriors, they would love to continue fighting,’’ he spoke.

Following that, more knights returned causing him to turn them into soldiers, before Dark warned with a growl when she sensed something. ’’My love! Devils are converging on the palace, they are trying to get you and Neemah.’’

Upon hearing this, Leo acted swiftly, banishing everyone, Elenoa, Ysella, and the others, into the domain, leaving only Dark behind. His gaze shifted to the goddess standing there, her presence radiating strength he could sense beneath the surface.

’’I can tell you’re far from weak,’’ he said with a grin, ’’But stay close to me.’’

The older woman’s face lit up with a radiant, beaming smile. ’’So protective,’’ she replied, her tone bright and warm, ’’And I love it.’’

Leo chuckled before the two of them left the palace only to see the elf soldiers fighting devils that were running rampant across the city. Without waiting, he summoned hundreds of Demonic Knights and ordered. ’’Bring me dead enemies and leave the elf warriors alone, help them if you can.’’

When the words left his lips they rushed out of the palace gardens and started butchering the devils with ease. Dark was shocked as she commented in an amused tone. ’’Looks like they’re growing alongside you. Having a force like this will help against the humans who have employed wicked means to put a stop to you.’’

’’Huh?’’ he said before turning to her. ’’What are they doing?’’

The goddess grimaced as she revealed. ’’They have cast a shield around the Duskwoods border to keep you out. We have to destroy the wall to get through, but it won’t be easy because the light goddess is aiding them to stop us.’’

Leo’s eyes glowed when hearing this, prompting a smile to appear, which made Dark laugh as she exclaimed. ’’You devious gremlin! If you can claim her then your power would be complete but my big sister is the opposite of me.’’

’’Doesn’t matter,’’ he responded confidently. ’’By the time we break into the empire I will be much stronger and my army will be in the millions.’’

Leo shivered when hearing her seductively, which sent a shiver down his spine as the first bodies started appearing. The Demonic Knights were piling up devil corpses alongside elves, humans, and other races.

While watching this, the couple sat down as a group of assassins appeared around them, which caught Dark’s attention but Leo wasn’t bothered, ’’Do you know what makes me laugh about you guys?’’

He stood up before continuing with a big smile. ’’You just gave me access to Demonic Assassins.’’

Moments later, shadow weapons erupted from the enemy shadows and impaled them, forcing blood to pour out like a fountain. The goddess was surprised but Leo transformed the fresh bodies.

A few dozen mana explosions detonated in a chaotic symphony around him, and from the shimmering haze, Demonic Assassins materialized, their forms dark and lethal. One by one, they dropped to their knees before him, heads bowed in submission.

His grin stretched wider, a glint of excitement in his eyes, as he issued his command to his newly forged soldiers. ’’Go, hunt down and capture more assassins.’’

At his command, the soldiers melted into the shadows, slipping silently out of the palace gardens. In their wake, the knights returned, dragging lifeless bodies one after another and threw them onto the ground.

An hour later, piles of corpses spread out across the grounds. With a thought, Leo unleashed a torrent of mana, the energy surging forth and flooding into the lifeless bodies. The dead twitched as the devils reshaped into hulking Demonic Devil Berserkers.

Their roars thundered through the air, threatening chaos to break out instantly, he waved his hand and sent them back to his shadow before they exploded, while other devils were armored like his knights.

Once Leo was done with that, they rushed off to kill more devils, which shocked Dark as she spoke beside him. ’’Amazing how you’re building an army you can bring anywhere.’’

’’I agree,’’ he answered while sending a message to Astra. ’Bring the army to the elf capital, it’s mine, but there’s some bad news.’’

Following that, he waved his hand to open a portal to the Domain as Neemah, Elenora, and Ysella appeared, only to be horrified when seeing the pools of blood soaking the ground, which made him chuckle.

’’Don’t worry, I’ll have it cleaned up but devils have invaded the city,’’ Leo revealed while turning more bodies into Demonic Knights.

When the older woman heard this, she questioned in a worried tone. ’’Are you killing the elf soldiers?’’

’’No,’’ he answered honestly. ’’I told my troops to help them.’’

Elenora was shocked, but several explosions rang out, causing Leo to feel his knights being destroyed as they were sent back to the shadow realm. This caught his attention before summoning more.

’’Guard the ladies,’’ he ordered as the powerful being was heading in his direction.

Leo vanished and spotted a Devil Beserker destroying his knight, but that was soon stopped as he hit the enemy with a California Smash. When his fist connected with the powerful creature, it was sent flying into the sky.

The shockwave rang out and sent the surrounding devils to their asses before they were killed by elves or Demonic Knights. Following that, Leo soared into the sky and caught up to the Devil Beserker.

It tried to attack, but he caught the creature’s fist that he crushed, which made the devil scream in pain. Moments later, Leo grabbed it by the throat and chuckled. ’’Thanks for the free soldiers devil.’’

He snapped its neck with ease before transforming it to a powerful knight that went around killing the other berserkers and bringing him their bodies. This continued for hours until every devil was killed.

Leo was staring at a sea of Demonic Knights that covered the elf capital and started cheering as the city belonged to his growing empire. Following that battle, he ordered them to clean everything up.
