Omega Summoner-Chapter 2503: Nobility of the Night

"Welcome back, Princess Solstice." The servants of the mansion of the Edelblud Estate all bowed as they greeted Solstice.

"At ease." Solstice stated but the stares of the servants are focused on the person right next to her.

The people of the Edelblud Estate are all vampires or Nobility of the Night as they call themselves. Even if some of the tension between the vampires and the werewolves have been quelled, some vampires are still wary of werewolves. Also, the vampires treat the werewolves as ruffians since they are a wilder counterpart to them even though they came from the same Asmodian Ancestor.

"The elders have already gathered, my lady. Please follow me to the reception area." One of the butlers stated as he showed a cool and calm demeanor compared to the others that are judging Lycan for being with their beloved master.

The Duchess of Edelblud which is the master of the household is in attendance with the other elders of the Edelblud family. Solstice and Lycan entered the reception area and is greeted with the stares of vampires far older than some of the elves. The oldest and most powerful is none other than the adoptive mother of Solstice which is the Duchess of Edelblud Leticia.

"You have come my child! You also became more powerful than before. I guess defeating those primordial beasts and feasting on their blood was the right choice after all. You also have your fiancée with you. Welcome to our estate, Lycan." Duchess Leticia stated.

"Thank you for the words, duchess." Solstice stated.

"I am please by your words, duchess." Lycan stated.

"I told you to call me mother, but I guess raising someone old is no longer something that can easily be taught. Then again, you came back but it seems that even you did not find those hags. They must be crawling into any hole they can find ever since you managed to kill the other Crazed Blood Queens. I would have some news for you, but it seems that even the elders have no word of their location." Duchess Leticia stated as she looked at the elders with a spine-chilling gaze.

The Duchess Leticia knew that some of these elders have some form of information, but they refuse to tell her. It seems that the fear and prestige of the vampire queens are still present. She did expect that there were hardliners even in her own family but at least they do not dare to rebel like the other families. There has been word that some families had to exterminate their own elders because they sided with the Crazed Blood Queens.

"No worries, duchess. My brother will come here and help me locate them. He is already heading here as we speak." Solstice stated which made the other elders flinch.

The elders of the Edelblud family actually did not like Solstice at first as she was the first pure blooded sire of the duchess. They thought that position should have been given to one of them as they are just noble blood vampires. All of them wanted to raise their objections but Solstice was far more gifted than they imagined.

The Edelblud duchy that is said to have difficulty doing business as most of the things are old fashioned have suddenly boomed. All of the people that were slowly leaving decided to stay as the new reforms she did to the territory was nothing short of genius. This also enriched the lives of vampires and humans living in the territory which made the latter’s blood sweeter and more potent.

The feelings they have for her suddenly turned to favor as she was a genius at making the territory flourish. The lives of all the elders became better than before and they get quality blood that they could brag about to other vampire families. The Edelblud name that was losing its prestige was easily raised back up by Solstice’ efforts.

All of them did not dislike Solstice because of what she has done but the Crazed Blood Queens suddenly returned. They all demanded the vampire families to submit to them as vassals as they believed that the Nobility of the Night shall become its rulers once more. A lot of the vampire families did not like the Crazed Blood Queens as they were banished Vampire Queens that endangered the lives of many vampires for the atrocities that they have done.

The Crazed Blood Queen that came to the Edelblud Estate was the Crazed Blood Queen Dupa. She had the ability to create blood clones and was slightly more powerful than Duchess Leticia. Duchess Leticia was about to lose when Solstice finally stepped in. At first, she was unable to kill the Crazed Blood Queen Dupa, but she equalized the standing between the latter and Duchess Leticia.

Solstice shocked the elders that were bystanders of that fight once again. They did not expect that a vampire that was just born a few years could stand against one of the Crazed Blood Queens. Solstice also came with Lycan at that time as she was going to introduce him to Duchess Leticia since she was introduced by him to Duke Lycaon. The elders did not take kindly for Solstice bringing a werewolf, but they decided to watch for now since they were against the Crazed Blood Queen Dupa.

The team up of Duchess Leticia, Solstice, and Lycan was able to actually slightly overtake that of the Crazed Blood Queen Dupa. It was only until the Crazed Blood Queen Dupa activated all her power that the balance tipped to her side. The Crazed Blood Queen Dupa created numerous blood clones that are almost at her own power level.

The elders thought that Duchess Leticia, Solstice, and Lycan would have been killed at that time but the latter two summoned the night. A power that was only said to have been possible to be owned their great ancestor is suddenly used by two almost newborn Erebians. Even the Crazed Blood Queen Dupa was shocked as the entire territory was covered in darkness.

The good thing is that the Crazed Blood Queen Dupa have already abandoned their creed and faith to the First Progenitor of the Erebians which meant that they are no longer empowered by the darkness summoned by Solstice and Lycan. With the summoning of darkness, the Crazed Blood Queen Dupa was defeated by Solstice as she crushed the heart of the former.

As soon as Solstice crushed the heart of the Crazed Blood Queen Dupa, a power inside of her bloomed as her potential was unlocked. The power to create blood clones is inherited by Solstice and she was immediately elevated to the status of a Vampire Princess that hold the traits of a Vampire Queen. She was now just below the rank of the Crazed Blood Queens as a true successor to the vampires have been born that day.

The defeat of the Crazed Blood Queen Dupa came as a shock to the other vampires as they thought that the Blood Queens were at the top but the defeat of one sparked change. The vampire internal civil war started as those that sided with the Blood Queens banded together and those that wanted freedom from their oppression.

After Solstice crushed the heart of the Crazed Blood Queen Dupa, she also announced that Lycan was her lover. This sparked some debates among the elders as they never like werewolves because of their rivalry. Still, the werewolves became a fine ally when it came to taking down the other Crazed Blood Queens. Some vampires are still a bit wary of werewolves but that is just the caution of long-lived races.

"You said that your brother will come. Is that the Mediator of Death?" Duchess Leticia asked as she already has an idea that Solstice calls a demon her brother which might be odd to her, but she let it pass. freewёbnoνel.com

"Yes. He said that he is already on his way as he said that helping me with this task might also end up helping him resolve his greatest task. He did ask for something in return though which is why I need to come here personally to say." Solstice stated.

"Oh? What does the Mediator of Death want from us in exchange for his help?" Duchess Leticia asked.

"He said that he wants the creation relic for the vampires. He wants the New Moon in exchange for his help." Solstice stated as all the vampire elders suddenly stood up in protest as that was the creation relic for the Vampires.

"You cannot just give away the creation relic of our species to another, princess." One of the vampire elders stated.

"Give? We do not even have it on our possession. The most powerful Crazed Blood Queen has it on her hands. She is keeping that thing even though she cannot even use it as she was already of cursed blood." Solstice stated as they do not even have it on their hand. If Adrian helps her kill the last two Crazed Blood Queens, then offering it will not be a bad idea. She wants to at least spoil her brother as she cannot do it in the real world.
