Omega Summoner-Chapter 2828: The Sacrifice of Telos II

Numerous wraiths and zombies suddenly swarmed Adrian and the others. The actual Corrupted Grave Keeper looked a bit weakened as its sources of power has slightly diminished. Still, the Corrupted Grave Keeper would do anything to defeat and subjugate the beings before it. They were all too good of a material to even pass as they would make the ultimate undead.

"Did you really think that numbers will make you win?" Adrian stated as he suddenly created a star and then proceeded to destroy that star by slamming his two hands.

The sudden explosion of the star created a massive black hole that sucked in all of the undead that were released by the Corrupted Grave Keeper. Even the Corrupted Grave Keeper itself had to plant its body into the ground in order to spare itself from being sucked in by the black hole. The only ones that are unaffected by the black hole are none other than Adrian, Vio, and Pyli.

Vio did not waste the chance that his master has given him and instantly used the most powerful spell in its arsenal as a dragon lord. Vio released his abyss energy and created a large silhouette of itself that slammed towards the Corrupted Grave Keeper. The power was so intense that it made the Corrupted Grave Keeper scream in pain because chaos energy is also mixed in due to Adrian’s current transformation.

The Corrupted Grave Keeper tried to fight off Vio but Pyli had other plans as the latter aimed for the hand that is covering the neck. The Corrupted Grave Keeper sensed what Pyli is about to do but it could not stop the Dimensional Dullahan. Pyli appeared next to the hand and instanly plunged his sword into it. The hand covering the neck of the Corrupted Grave Keeper exploded which made the exposed area release a large amount of miasma.

The Corrupted Grave Keeper started to weaken and dwindle as the miasma on its body is now going out at an incredibly fast rate. If the miasma that it keeps in its body escapes entirely then even an undead with powerful regeneration like the Corrupted Grave Keeper will die eventually. The Corrupted Grave Keeper could not believe that it will perish like this because it has the power to rise and become a god.

"This is not the end!" The Corrupted Grave Keeper shouted desperately as it regenerated the destroyed hand by manipulating the miasma that escaped its body.

The Corrupted Grave Keeper then swatted Pyli away before grabbing Vio and slamming the latter onto the ground. The two were already incredibly weakened and fainted as a result of the desperate attack of the Corrupted Grave Keeper. The two soulbounds could only think of one thing and that is their master. Adrian is currently unguarded right now as he maintained the black hole until all of the undead in it have died.

Adrian saw the large undead crawling quickly towards him and the madness in the eyes of the Corrupted Grave Keeper could not be clearer. The Corrupted Grave Keeper is now in a desperate state because it did not even care about the wound on its neck that seeps out miasma. The Corrupted Grave Keeper is now eyeing Adrian without a care in the world as it believed that the Daemos Creation Relic will be able to restore it back to glory.

Adrian is about to make a move when he felt his body go numb. He instantly knew that this was the sign that his current body will not last long. It was now at a state where he could either explode or vanish at any moment. He knew that he needed to make the decision now or else history might be different. Adrian had this weird feeling that everything that happened now is not just a review of the past but he pushed that thought aside for now.

"I have no other choice. To think that I would actually be the one that seals it there. Am I actually doing what the game wants or do I like punishing myself?" Adrian muttered as his eyes turned sharp.

Adrian collapsed the black hole and made it explode right in the face of the Corrupted Grave Keeper. The large form of the Corrupted Grave Keeper got blown away and it reverted to a smaller being. Adrian then looked at the pathetic form of the Corrupted Grave Keeper and smiled because he knows what he needs to do now.

"The power of Chaos is also the power of creation. I am going to push my body one last time before everything ends." Adrian muttered which made his two soulbound react.

"Master! Do not do it! Please!" Vio stated even though its body has already progressed to such a state. It is not even a debate that Vio will become the Undead Dragon that he faced back then.

"Young master, you should at least save yourself. Let us seal this dirt as you will certainly die if you do anymore." Pyli stated.

[You have released the seal on your soulbound, Vio.]

[You have released the seal on your soulbound, Pyli.]

[The soulbounds tried to reject your wishes but your will has overpowered them.]

"I am sorry for what I am about to do but this is necessary for the future. I hope that the two of you will forgive me when the time we reunite." Adrian stated as he then made the power of chaos flow in his body.

[You have created the Mausoleum of the End.]

[You have created the Crypt of Telos.]

Adrian used the power of chaos to create the mausoleum and the crypt. The power he exerted created a large and beautiful graveyard as he built this to make sure that the souls that were forced to be part of the Corrupted Grave Keeper were given their rites. He then made a motion to the Corrupted Grave Keeper as he then created a seal on the undead while also messing with its memories.

When Adrian was done with the Corrupted Grave Keeper, he then placed it deep into the crypt. Adrian then looked at Vio and could clearly tell that he was in great pain. He knew it was cruel but he asked his best friend just to make sure that Vio will have the last decision. This is also the reason why Adrian released his seal.

"Vio, I am afraid that you are now transforming into an undead. I can do something about you not feeling any pain but you will most likely sleep for a very long time." Adrian stated.

"I can endure as long as I am with you." Vio replied but Adrian swayed his head.

"Unfortunately, I will likely die after the preparations that I make. This relic must not fall in the hands of the other races. I do not even trust the other Asmodians at this point because there might be some that defected." Adrian stated.

"Kill me then. I would rather die with you than sleep forever!" Vio demanded.

"Actually, I need to ask a very special favor from you. Can you keep the knowledge that I have and pass in onto my successor. There will come a day where you will wake up and my successor will defeat you." Adrian stated even though he was the one that inherited it.

"This will be my last promise to you. When that is over, I want you to wait for me on the other side." Vio stated.

"Thank you, my best friend." Adrian stated as he released the seal that he had with Soul.

The inherited legacy of the Omega Summoner is none other than Soul. It is basically the Forbidden Tome containing all of the powers of a summoner. Adrian did not know this as he never encountered Soul before. Maybe the spirit of the Forbidden Tome also vanished along with Telos and only the knowledge was transferred.

"I, thank you, once again... my best friend." Adrian stated as he hugged Vio before using the power of creation to put the latter’s soul to sleep and then fully mutate it into the Undead Abyss Dragon.

Adrian then gently caressed the sleeping Vio before placing him into the depths of the crypt. He then looked at Pyly as the Dimensional Dullahan is clearly waiting for orders. Adrian smiled as he knows that Pyli should no longer be loyal to him since he is no longer his soulbound.

"I shall guard this place until your successor arrives, young master. I will weed out those that are unworthy." Pyli stated which made Adrian shocked because he volunteered before he could even say anything.

"Are you sure?" Adrian asked as he could send Pyli out of this sealed place.

"I am sure. This will be my last duty. I just wish that you shall also wait for me on the other side when all of it is over." Pyli stated which made Telos cry tears.
