Newgate stood at the bow of the Moby Dick, gazing at the shattered ice and rocks falling from the sky. However, before they could reach the ground, the fragments suddenly changed direction, harmlessly crashing into the sea without making a ripple.

Just as Newgate lowered his arm, a golden beam of light shot through the air toward him at an astonishing speed.

"Borsalino..." Newgate's brows furrowed, his expression turning serious.

He gripped Murakumogiri and swung it forcefully. The moment the black blade met the golden beam, it detonated with a deafening explosion, sending a shockwave that made Newgate's signature mustache tremble.

After deflecting the attack, Newgate raised his head. Sure enough, high above the battlefield stood Borsalino, arms crossed over his chest, his body crackling with dazzling light.

"Yasakani no Magatama." Borsalino muttered softly.

As soon as the words left his mouth, countless golden light beams rained down, targeting the Whitebeard Pirates with the Moby Dick as the primary focus.

"They really don't give us a moment's rest," Newgate grumbled, raising his arm.

Before he could act, Marco sprang forward, wings unfurling as he placed himself between the Moby Dick and the incoming beams. His body shifted, engulfed in blue flames as he transformed into a massive phoenix.

The golden beams struck him relentlessly, and Marco instantly felt a sharp, stinging pain, like being riddled with thousands of bullets. It was a sensation that was anything but pleasant.

Yet Marco possessed the Mythical Zoan Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix — one of the rarest and most powerful Devil Fruits in existence. His flames of resurrection gave him extraordinary regenerative abilities. Unless he was restrained by Seastone, even a fatal injury wouldn't keep him down for long.

Of course, a power like Teach's Dark-Dark Fruit would likely be just as effective in nullifying his abilities.

The Marines were stunned to see Marco standing strong after enduring Borsalino's relentless barrage.

When the golden rain finally ceased, Marco emerged from the smoke, his body riddled with holes, half of his skull missing. Yet, the blue flames danced across his wounds, rapidly knitting him back together.

In mere seconds, Marco was fully healed. He smirked, looked at Borsalino, and said casually:

"That hurt, y'know?"

"Impressive," Borsalino said, his voice dripping with his usual sarcasm. "This is my first time seeing the Phoenix Fruit's powers up close."

Marco's brow twitched in annoyance. "Don't lie. The Marines have their own Mythical Zoans. What about Fleet Admiral Sengoku? Or that Admiral candidate, Momousagi? You expect me to believe this is your first time seeing something like this?"

Without giving Borsalino time to respond, Marco flapped his wings, shot into the sky, and delivered a powerful downward kick.

Borsalino lazily raised an arm to block the strike.

"Ouch," he said, tone flat as ever.

Marco wasn't about to let him off that easily. With another burst of strength, his kick sent Borsalino hurtling across the battlefield.

Meanwhile, over at the Shichibukai's position, Enel was stretching and bending in place, casually going through a warm-up routine.

Crocodile stared at him with an incredulous expression, puffing his cigar.

"Oi, Enel... what the hell are you doing?"

"Warming up, obviously," Enel said matter-of-factly, performing another deep stretch.

Crocodile's eye twitched. "Yeah, I can see that. I'm asking why you're suddenly doing warm-ups. The war's already started."

Enel finished a side stretch, stood up straight, and replied, "I'm about to step in. And if I'm going to fight the world's strongest man, I need to be at my peak. Gotta get my body ready first."

Crocodile opened his mouth to retort but paused. "...Damn it. That actually makes sense."

After a full set of warm-ups, Enel pulled his golden staff from the ground, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes.

"I'm going in," he said.

"Go show off, then," Crocodile muttered with a wave.

Lightning crackled around Enel's body as he fixed his gaze on Newgate.

Newgate, who had been watching the chaos of the battlefield, suddenly shifted his eyes toward Enel.

"So that's the so-called invincible Enel, the wielder of the strongest Logia, the Goro Goro no Mi...?" Newgate mused, his expression tightening.

After all, Enel was infamous in the New World, a man who had reduced the Shichibukai into a glorified treasure-hunting squad and claimed the title of 'Invincible.'

There were few in the world with such a reputation. Bartholomew Kuma, for instance, was also nicknamed 'The Tyrant' and 'The Invincible Storm.'

As the thought crossed Newgate's mind, Enel vanished in a crackling flash of lightning.

"Left!"

Relying on instinct, Newgate swung a fist toward his left side. His Haki-infused strike shattered the air itself, producing a spiderweb of cracks.

Sure enough, Enel reappeared in that exact spot but Newgate's fist passed through him.

Elementalized... Newgate realized.

But what surprised him more was that Enel's eyes were closed.

"Are you underestimating me?" they asked simultaneously.

Newgate's eyes narrowed. "So... you've already mastered Observation Haki to the point of seeing the future?"

"It's ridiculous, isn't it, 'Strongest Man in the World'?" Enel said, eyes still shut.

Lightning surged from his golden staff and shot toward Newgate's chest.

With a twist of his wrist, Newgate shattered the air in front of him again. The lightning arced erratically, deflected by the distorted space, and harmlessly struck the ice beside him.

"What?!" Enel's eyes snapped open.

Newgate seized the moment to throw a punch, his fist crackling with tremors.

But Enel disappeared in a bolt of lightning just before the impact.

"Tch..." Newgate smirked. "You're fast. But do you know... how I win?"

Above him, Enel reappeared, golden staff raised high and crackling with electricity.

"How do you win?" Enel asked, even as his staff shot downward toward Newgate's skull.

But before Newgate could answer, Enel's expression shifted. His eyes widened with sudden realization.

"Damn it!" he cursed.

In an instant, his body transformed into lightning once more, fleeing the spot like his life depended on it.
