Chapter 201: Chapter 201: Materialization of Items, Novice Village No. 33

"Alright." Johnnie nodded in agreement. For ordinary people, increasing the five elements Elemental Gift was a challenge, but for him, it was no big deal.

He thought for a moment, then pulled out a Fossil of Creation and handed it to Cecilia. "Cecilia, with your current strength, you’re ready to fuse attributes."

"Really?" Cecilia’s eyes lit up, and she happily accepted the Fossil of Creation.

However, she hesitated for a moment and didn’t choose to refine it. She said, "I’d rather comprehend the State of Sword Mind first. I want to fly with a controlled sword."

The girls, including Cecilia, all seemed obsessed with flying.

Johnnie didn’t mind. For Sword Immortal, once you comprehend the State of Sword Mind, your power soars. Using the Fossil of Creation to fuse attributes at that stage is definitely the best deal.

Cecilia continued, "Johnnie, I want to advance my Sword Immortal class. Maybe I’ll comprehend the State of Sword Mind this time."

"Oh, did you reach stage 4, level 10?" Johnnie finally noticed her level. Looks like she killed quite a few monsters during the Beast Wave attack.

Not just Cecilia, but a lot of people had reached the level cap for their tier and needed to start their class advancement.

Johnnie decided to help them unlock the Secret Realm of the Sword Tomb first, and then head to Novice Village No. 33 to look for the Map of Heaven and Earth fragments.

He immediately found the busy Dylan and contacted the players who needed Sword Immortal advancement, leading them to Twin Cranes City for their class upgrades.

"Johnnie, I’m gonna sit this one out—way too much stuff on my plate," Dylan said, clearly overwhelmed.

The Montemar Empire had just been established, and Johnnie had basically handed off all responsibilities to Dylan, dumping a mountain of work on him.

Running an empire was way more complicated than managing a city.

"Dylan, leveling up is important too," Johnnie reminded him, thinking of Dylan’s fate in his previous life. If they’d been stronger, maybe they wouldn’t have perished in the Beast Wave.

Dylan nodded absentmindedly, barely looking up as he worked through the paperwork. "Don’t worry. Once I clear these tasks, I’ll go advance."

Johnnie didn’t push, and led over a thousand soldiers and members of the Yett Family to teleport to Twin Cranes City.

There were clearly more guards patrolling here now. So many players showing up at once drew plenty of attention from the soldiers.

Lately, all the cities were on edge, ramping up security everywhere.

That was because the Empire War event had begun. Anyone who built a country could now rightfully annex other cities.

Johnnie definitely had plans to annex Twin Cranes City, but now wasn’t the time.

Maybe helping Atlas build a country would be a good move in Twin Cranes City.

Johnnie led the group out of Twin Cranes City and headed straight for the cliff to open the Secret Realm of the Sword Tomb.

Bellina was still there; she still hadn’t changed class to Sword Immortal, stubbornly bugging the system to comprehend The Way of the Sword.

Johnnie had to admit, the girl’s perseverance was impressive.

By now, Bellina had already grasped the State of Sword Mind and was just one step away from reaching the Sword Spirit Realm.

"Bellina, can I borrow your Oracle Bell? I’m about to start my stage 4 Sword Immortal advancement," Cecilia asked expectantly.

"So soon and you’re advancing again?" Bellina sounded a little jealous, but handed over the Oracle Bell. "Cecilia, you better help me level up next time."

"No problem, you can count on me!" Cecilia patted her chest and promised, then got ready to start the Sword Immortal advancement trial.

"Hold on," Johnnie stopped her. "Wait a sec, I’ll give you another piece of gear to boost your comprehension."

He said that and then took out another Fossil of Creation to refine and fuse attributes.

Coco had said that the Map of Heaven and Earth had merged with a fragment, and now that he’d claimed ownership, he could transfer items between the game and reality.

Johnnie had planned to wait until after advancing Sword Immortal and Mage of the Five Elements to do the fusion, but he wasn’t in a rush to advance.

For him, class advancement didn’t offer a huge boost, while the Cosmic Eclipse Blade’s passive could increase his physical damage and attack speed by one for every kill of a demonic creature at his level or higher.

Honestly, that kind of boost was way faster than leveling up.

Not only that, he had other ways to power up.

Killing undead monsters, demons, and even divines could all increase his strength.

And now, killing members of the Mechanical Race and refining their mechanical cores was an option too.

Buzzz...

A low buzzing echoed as Johnnie effortlessly refined the Fossil of Creation and fused his attributes once again.

He said a quick goodbye and immediately logged off.

Boom, boom...

Back in the real world, Johnnie opened his eyes, but a roaring surge echoed from deep within his body, filled with an intense and terrifying power.

It was Bloodline Power!

Johnnie was startled. He had already fully converted both Witch Clan and Demon Clan bloodlines, but he couldn’t fuse them.

If it weren’t for the seals placed by Skye and the White Spirit Tiger, he probably would have exploded from the power.

Now that he’d fused attributes, the Bloodline Power had naturally carried over into the real world.

"Is this going to be dangerous?" Johnnie worried. Following the Body Tempering Art, he used Internal Vision to check his condition.

Soon, he relaxed. With attribute fusion, the seals from Skye and the White Spirit Tiger were still intact inside him. He’d be fine.

He focused his mind, checking the space within the Map of Heaven and Earth.

"Looks like it really did come out," Johnnie said in surprise. With a thought, a pile of Half-life Lotus appeared—at least a hundred thousand plants.

With that many Half-life Lotus, Lina would have plenty to work with for a while.

Besides that, there were also several Divine corpses he’d killed.

The Demon God, the Flame Warlord—though the corpse of Pluto Lisa wasn’t here.

Johnnie found the gear he’d gotten when he killed Pluto’s clone in the real world: the Iceheart Jade.

When equipped, it granted immunity to mental attacks and boosted comprehension by five points.

This item, like Bellina’s Oracle Bell, enhanced comprehension, and it was a special item with no equip requirements.

Johnnie stored it in the Map of Heaven and Earth’s inventory, then activated the link crystal and logged back into the game.

His avatar appeared once again in the Secret Realm of the Sword Tomb.

The girls were still waiting, and when they saw him appear, they immediately hurried over.

"Johnnie, do you have any more equipment that boosts comprehension?" Cecilia asked expectantly.

Johnnie nodded and pulled out the Iceheart Jade.

The girls crowded around. Crysic exclaimed, "Johnnie, isn’t that the item from the real world? How did you bring it here?"

Johnnie smiled. "With this attribute fusion, I gained a new ability. Now I can materialize items between reality and the game."

"Really? That means Lina can keep making potions?" Crysic thought of Lina right away.

Without the Half-life Lotus, Lina hadn’t had anything to study these past few days, and she had been pretty down.

Johnnie took out another Glassy Heart and handed it to Holly. "You all go ahead and advance your classes. I have some other things to take care of."

With that, he said his goodbyes and left the Secret Realm of the Sword Tomb.

The suppression of power on the Universe Continent was about to disappear, and he needed to get the Map of Heaven and Earth fragment from Novice Village No. 33 to boost his strength as much as possible.

This time, not only had the Montemar Empire been established, but the Mechanical Race’s Mecha Divine Nation and the Doe Family’s Windcrest Empire had also held off the Beast Wave and successfully built nations.

Only the Snow Kingdom, founded by the Snow Family, had failed.

The Mecha Divine Nation was located right at Novice Village No. 33.

But as for the Windcrest Empire founded by the Doe Family, Johnnie still hadn’t figured out its exact location.

Douglas had obtained two divine essences, but he hadn’t become a Divine yet. He wasn’t much of a threat, so Johnnie wasn’t in any rush to deal with him.

Soon, he arrived on the outskirts of Novice Village No. 33.

But Johnnie had his Illusory Body, allowing him to pass freely through the barriers here.

The Mechanical Race was not to be underestimated, so just to be safe, he borrowed Skye’s shield again, gaining three more uses.

As long as he didn’t face an overwhelmingly powerful enemy, he could handle anything that came his way.

And even if he couldn’t win, he could just pull them into the Mountain and River Space, letting Skye and Aureon take care of things.

The Mechanical Race might be strong, their power on par with Divines, but without divine powers, they couldn’t block the Map of Heaven and Earth.

Buzz!

A flash of light, and Johnnie slipped effortlessly into Novice Village No. 33.

"Huh, what’s with the crowd?" Johnnie was surprised.

Horizon had been out for half a year already. Even though there were still plenty of newbies joining, most novice villages weren’t nearly as lively as they’d once been.

But here in Novice Village No. 33, the place was packed with players—so many, it looked like a sea of people. There were even more players than monsters.

And a lot of them had already reached stage 1, level 10. Instead of leaving, they were digging around in the woods, searching for something.

"Hey man, what are you guys looking for?" Johnnie stopped a warrior player with a shovel, curiosity in his voice.

The guy looked Johnnie up and down, his brow furrowing. He sounded annoyed. "Buddy, you’re already high-level. Why hang around here and compete with us for the loot?"

Loot?

Was there some hidden quest around here?

Johnnie was even more puzzled. He pressed on, "I ended up here by accident. Is there some kind of special opportunity in this place?"

He casually pulled out a dozen or so gold coins and handed them over.

That kind of money was pocket change to Johnnie.

But for a regular player, it was a hefty sum.

Right now, in-game exchange rates were stable—a single gold coin could get you ten thousand bucks in real-world cash.

Johnnie had basically handed over more than a hundred grand without a second thought.

The warrior’s eyes lit up as he quickly accepted the coins, then asked curiously, "Aren’t players locked out of novice villages after they leave?"

He didn’t dwell on it, though, and went on, "Since you gave me these coins, I’ll let you in on it. You heard about our novice village building a country, right?"

Johnnie nodded.

The guy continued, "So, the Mechanical Race took over the novice village, and now they’re making us gather wood, stone, and all sorts of ore. Ten units of wood or stone can be traded for one free attribute point. If you can find ore, just one unit gets you a free attribute point, or maybe more. This is a secret—I’m only telling you, so don’t spread it around."

The guy looked secretive, almost paranoid.

A secret?

Johnnie almost rolled his eyes.

He glanced at the hills covered with players, all collecting wood and stone—obviously, everyone already knew.
