[Innate Talent—Crown of Abyssal Gale]: Depending on the wind blowing around Pymon, all of his skills deal additional Darkwind damage and reduce the target’s defense.

[Innate Talent—Dual Reaper]: In water, Pymon transforms into a monster capable of swimming fast like an aquatic creature, transforms wings, and gains aquatic features, with his monsoonlord attribute gaining a boost. In the sky, Pymon assumes the flying leviathan form with four wings, with his Skylord attribute getting a boost.

Pymon burst into the sky as John gave the signal, four King-rank Monsters already circling above the great mist-veiled lake. The humid air churned with elemental tension as thunderclouds began to coil unnaturally above them, reacting to Pymon’s presence.

The enemies—Tempesthide Draconid, Flareplume Basilhawk, Stormquill Manticore, and Glimmerhorn Stormbull—locked onto the massive Roclord whose wings carved wind into slicing crescents.

Pymon struck first.

Zealgale Riftlance tore from his body in a snap, a storm-laced spear of refracted lightning that skewered the Basilhawk’s wing in midair, sending it spiraling with sparks trailing its feathers. Before it could recover, Stormquill Erasure Surge detonated above it, bombarding it with feathered needles formed from thunderous darkwind—shattering its defenses as the aura of Crown of Abyssal Gale amplified the tear of each blow.

The Stormbull snorted and lunged through the air like a meteor, thunder hooves primed to crush. Pymon didn’t dodge.

He twisted mid-air, wings flaring wide as he unleashed Thundra Wingclap Burst—a devastating concussive clap that halted the Stormbull with violent recoil. The beast jerked backward in confusion, only for Voltide Abyss Spiral to crash into it from below, a vortex of electrified monsoon winds swallowing it, shredding its defenses as it tumbled downward like driftwood.

The Draconid rose sharply, spreading its plated wings to unleash a barrage of wind blades, but Pymon was already above it. His form streaked downward as Skyrazor Monsoon Flare ignited, wings glistening with typhoon arcs. He slammed into the Draconid with a roar, flaring his full wingspan as Cloudpierce Chain Tempest lashed out—binding the Draconid’s joints with coiling, charged wind-chains that detonated at each pressure point.

The Manticore tried to flee toward a higher altitude, sensing the tide shift—but Pymon vanished.

In the next breath, he came crashing down from a rift in the clouds.

Maelstrike Riftcrash.

Reality bent around him as he spiraled down, smashing into the Manticore’s spine and dragging it through the storm canopy. The beast writhed, stunned, its roar swallowed in the winds.

Heavenflow Feather Rend followed, a rain of slicing plumes that severed its escape, grounding it with bleeding gashes.

The four monsters crashed, unconscious or broken, into the lake’s edge or shallows.

Pymon dove after them.

As his body plunged into the lake, Dual Reaper activated—the Roclord’s wings folded, tail and limbs morphed into a sleek, water-adapted form. His feathers fused into armored fins, his glow turned aquatic.

From below, Ironfang Torrentshark surged.

Pymon twisted past its lunge, dancing through currents with impossible grace. Crestbolt Roclash Vortex erupted beneath him, spiraling the entire lake segment into a funnel of roaring tides. The shark was pulled, smashed against the current.

Cycloraise Thunderbloom bloomed underwater—lightning-infused kelp-like strands detonating with wave-bound pulses, shocking the shark’s nervous system and frying it from inside completely before it could recover.

Pymon rose again, a streak of sky and stormwater, his cry echoing across the silent, steaming lake.

"Close." John looked at Pymon’s Gene Potential and saw that it was at 99.

"Here, recover your energy and go for one more dive and fight." John gave his soul energy to Pymon with their connection while he recovered himself using King Essence Coins.

...

Although those seven forces lost a lot of Sovereign-rank Tamers, they still sent more Sovereign-rank, around five to ten, down from the higher-ranked world.

Naturally, their Emperor-rank, King-rank, Gold-rank, and Silver-rank Tamers still arrived and joined.

Minera targeted the Emperor-rank Tamers and new Sovereign-rank Tamers of those seven forces.

She made her moves subtly, invoking small talk and theories among themselves.

Those possessed by her devils were already in her control, so she made them talk around, spreading theories and everything.

But her main target was naturally the Zarkhail royal family of the demons.

John killed their family’s former family head, so they naturally did not exactly like Mr. Sirius.

So after possessing the demons of the Zarkhail family, she started making moves to make them go against Mr. Sirius.

She had already spread a lot of words around during these three days.

It was also important that she kept her devil-possessed humans and demons ready.

[ You already got considerable Emperor-rank and lower-rank people under control. Now it’s time to make moves on Sovereign-rank Tamers. ]

"So far, I’ve got 28 Tier-6 Devils."

[ That should be enough. Use those to possess 28 Sovereign-rank Tamers from the Zarkhail family. ]

"Nah, not yet. I need more preparation. And we will only get one solid chance because after we make our move, he will find out about us, and possibly our powers. He will be cautious in the future."

[Indeed. So we can’t risk this.]

Minera licked her lips and grinned. "Well, everyone is greedy, so let me invoke it in more of them."

"I’ll make a move once I produce 22 Tier-6 Devils more."

[ Fifty Sovereign-tank Tamers sounds good enough to start the plan. ]

"Yep."

...

Unaware of an ongoing scheme against him by a holder of a cosmic rune from another cosmoverse, John was training his Monsters, himself, and having fun.

Yuna, Max, and Jibril were also training intensely.

Azelis was mostly focusing on her mastery and training her Monsters.

"Alright, buddy. Time to fight and reach Gene Potential 100 for the second burst."

Rexion roared.
