It was morning now, the Sun knocked in the sky, sunlight brisked Aurelion’s window, the silence of night changed to the cooing of the birds. The day to discuss the engagement in a cordial manner had come.

Aurelion woke from the sunlight, gently kissing on him his eyes, the Valerius blonde hair was making the sun fade in comparison. He stood up straight, stretched his hands and yawn, worn his slippers and went straight to the attached washroom to freshen up. Then, completed his morning routine by brushing and bathing, this time with regular water.

When he came out of the washroom, the maids had already prepared the clothes for him. Today, he worn outfit perfect for his appointment with Caelion at training grounds. His attire blended a refined mage elegance with practical travel wear. There was a long white tunic which formed the base layer, it rested over a deep blue mantle which was draping across the shoulders and gave a look of a cloak. The lower garments were tailored and design for mobility, while the overall color scheme of white and sapphire gave the outfit a ceremonial look.

"...A combination of white and sapphire, must be Uncle’s choice." He expressed in front of the maid. The maid nodded.

"Wait, if you guys prepared my clothes for today, then where is Lyra right now?" Aurelion asked.

"We were told by Sir Rhael to treat your companions as guests too. He has instructed us that we make sure your maid does not need to work at least here." The maid replied gracefully. The other one asked if he need assistance to wear the clothes and as usual Aurelion denied that. The maids left the room. Aurelion quickly changed into the clothes, drew a blank on his face for few seconds, the thing he missed the most here was not any one of his parents or staff, it was actually his shoe collection. He wore some normal spare shoes which Lyra had packed earlier and left the room.

The breakfast table was set, the maids guided him to the dining chambers again. Aurelion walked down the hallways and moved towards the table. There he noticed Lyra and Sally were already sitting. Sally now in her normal or maybe abnormal form, was back to being a human while Lyra was wearing a beautiful pink lining outfit with flirls in it which made her look an absolute diva. Her hair still wet and as for makeup she never needed that with her looks.

Aurelion joined them on the table. "... Whoa, Lyra. You are looking absolutely beautiful today." He said.

"Hehe, I always do. My beauty knows no bounds, your highness. I look pretty even when I am sleeping." She smirked.

"Hahaha..." Someone laughed in background. Lyra turned behind to see who it was.

A wild Rhael appeared.

He was passing by to his way to work and heard some parts of the conversation. Then, he came forward and bowed to Aurelion. "Good morning, your highness. I hope that the night here at the tower gave you no discomfort." He greeted Aurelion. Aurelion waved his eyes down in acknowledgement.

"... Excuse me Sir, you might not know this but it is rude to eavesdrop and laugh at others." Lyra said in a mocking and sulking tone.

"...Haha, Forgive me, my fair lady but I was not mocking you. I just happened to hear some bits and remembered something funny. Anyways, have a good day." Rhael chuckled and gave the same devilish smile as Caelion. He turned to leave but then.

"Wait..., Rhael. Are the others not joining today for breakfast?" Aurelion asked.

"His Grace has already eaten some light snacks with his morning tea, so he won’t be having any today. As for the young lady as per her schedule she usefully skips one meal a day so she won’t be joining either. Please enjoy your meal your highness, Your Grace will be calling you soon at the training grounds after he finishes some of his own experiments." Rhael informed and left the room.

"Ahh... The nerve. He was clearing laughing at me but cleverly twisted his words. And he keeps giving that weird grin. Your highness, you saw it too right?" Lyra complained to Aurelion.

"Yeah... no comments. I don’t think he is as bad as you make him out to be. As for the weird grin, that is called a ’Smile’. Though, seriously, why do you dislike him that much Lyra?" Aurelion got curious.

"Him? Oh not, just him but his whole kind. I know so well about these type of guys. You know, your highness, my friend outside the palace fell for one like him who only flaunt their looks. That guy kept flirting with her, and went on dates—"

"Wait, you don’t know what dates must be." She mumbled.

"I mean, those two went on many picnics together. Eventually, my friend got so infatuated with that guy, that she asked to marry him but it turned out that guy was already married and had kids." Lyra explained the whole lore.

AHH... THAT EXPLAINS YOUR DISTRUST IN MEN. ALSO, I NEVER NOTICED THAT SHE LOVES TO GOSSIP SO MUCH, RIGHT NOW, SHE LOOKS AS ANY OTHER NORMAL NINETEEN YEAR OLD GIRL. Aurelion thought.

"I see... I see. Let’s finish the breakfast, I also need to experiment more with Uncle later." Aurelion diverted the conversation and broke the flow. All this time, Sally was surprisingly quiet, her sole focus was on her food. The group quickly finished the breakfast. They cleaned their mouth and hands, well except Sally who with her messy eating had curry all over mouth and hands full in syrup. The other maids had to step up to clean her up.

Then, a servant entered the dining chambers. He bowed. "Greetings, your highness. His Grace has invited you and your pet to the training grounds." He announced.

"NICE, TIME TO SUMMON MY FAMILIAR ARMY." Aurelion boasted.
