Picking Up Attributes In Martial World-Chapter 46: Qi Condensation Realm

There was an actual treasure in the Whispering Valley.

Both Ye Jun and Meihui were taken aback hearing that, but he didn’t show it on his face. He contemplated for a moment before asking, "So, you’re going there?"

"Indeed. I didn’t believe the rumors but I couldn’t dismiss them either," Xia Yan said, standing up. "That’s why I sent someone to check the situation. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to make sure the other two clans don’t get their hands on it."

She gestured toward her right where her attendant stood. One of them came forward and handed over a High-Grade Tier 1 Beast Core to Ye Jun.

"Thanks for the wonderful meal," Xia Yan smiled at him, then looked over his shoulder. "I hope we can see each other again, Young Master Rong. Farewell till then."

With that, she left the small clearing with her entourage, leaving the two of them alone.

Ye Jun waited until she was completely gone, then turned around to face Meihui, who furrowed her brows and said, "This is a complicated situation. I didn’t think there would be a real treasure here."

"You’re really innocent," Ye Jun smiled lightly and said. "Did you really believe her words so easily?"

Meihui blinked in confusion.

"She saw my prowess and knows I’m her competition, so she might as well be lying about the treasure so I waste my time too," Ye Jun shrugged. "It’s a good tactic. She just dropped the news and headed off."

"Wait! You’re right," Meihui knocked on her head. "I’m stupid. Actually, even if there is a treasure, it doesn’t matter since you have a different goal."

"Nah," Ye Jun stood up. "If there really is a treasure, then my brother will want it too. If that’s the case, then it’s even more reason for my presence there."

He grinned. "I want to take everything away from him, everything he desires. So if he wants the treasure, I’ll take it away right before his eyes."

He paused before smiling darkly.

"Most of all, I want him dead here. If he’s there, then I’ll go there to kill him."

"But if this is fake, then you’ll be wasting your time," Meihui pointed out. "By the time you reach there, Ye Chen might even go back to hunting."

"Valid point," Ye Jun nodded. "Which is why I want you to go there and check. You’re the fastest here, after all. If it’s true, then I’ll come too."

"What if they take it first?" Meihui asked, before shaking her head. "Actually, never mind. They won’t clear the Array Formation so quickly."

"Even if they did, they’ll fight over it so we’ll have time," Ye Jun waved his hand. "Now go. We shouldn’t waste more of our time."

"Are you sure?" Meihui asked, concern flashing in her eyes. "I won’t be there to protect you."

"As much as I like you being worried for me, don’t worry," Ye Jun smiled. "I’m much stronger than before. And you can’t protect me your entire life, can you?"

"I can and I will!" Meihui said firmly, surprising both herself and Ye Jun. She blushed and hurriedly turned around. "A-Anyways, if that’s what you wish, then so be it. I’ll go check it."

With that said, she didn’t wait for another second and dashed away. Her figure seemed to vanish right before his eyes.

"Such a cutie," Ye Jun grinned, rubbing his chin. "My luck is really good to have her by my side."

Shaking those thoughts off, Ye Jun turned the fire off and then dashed deeper into the forest. He had to use this time to hunt even more. It would make sure he entered the Sects and would also give him Attributes.

Something that would make him stronger at a visible rate.

’I need more Qi!’

The first realm of cultivation was the Body Strengthening Realm, involving strengthening the Physique to build a proper foundation for further Cultivation realms.

The second one, the Qi Condensation Realm, however, was quite different.

When one reached the peak of the Body Strengthening Realm, they had to gather the energy of Heaven and Earth in their body and make sure it remained there by refining it.

They already knew how to gather Qi and refine it, so they now needed to turn all of it into a spiraling vortex inside their Dantian. Once successful, they would advance to the Qi Condensation Realm.

The advancement boosted one’s physique, but its true value lay in that vortex which stored Qi in one’s body. Then, a Cultivator could use that Qi for various purposes, like coating their weapons or body to enhance them, or giving them a certain property related to an element.

They could also use higher-rank Mysterious Techniques involving the use of Affinities or the lack of them.

Because of those reasons, a Qi Condensation Realm Cultivator was far superior to those in the Body Strengthening Realm. Especially in combat.

This was why Ye Jun had worked hard to advance as quickly as possible, as he couldn’t defeat Ye Chen while being in the Body Strengthening Realm.

Now that he was in the Qi Condensation Realm, he wanted to advance to the next stages quickly, get stronger, and gain more control over his newfound strength.

To advance in stages in the Qi Condensation Realm, one needed to gather Qi from the world and form more vortices inside their Dantian. Every vortex represented a new stage.

Currently, four big vortices of white gas revolved inside his Dantian, showing his current Cultivation at the Fourth-Stage Qi Condensation Realm.

He needed more Qi Attributes to advance to the Fifth Stage and beyond.

’Aghh! So many Attributes are needed to advance in this realm. Fortunately, I have Meihui to aid me.’

Without Meihui’s help, he doubted he would have progressed this fast. Thinking of her cute, angry face, Ye Jun smiled and thought, ’Once I become strong enough, I’ll protect her.’

Just then, he spotted a three-headed Spiritual Beast with a lizard-like appearance. He didn’t know what it was, but the light green ring in the creature’s eyes told him enough.
