Players Invade Cyberpunk-Chapter 849 - 274: For the Company, Only Money Matters—Nothing Else Is Important_3
These business people are all dirty-hearted.

The sun was close to setting in the west, the last rays of the sunset burning fiercely over the sea, flames raced across the surface, leaving only the darkness of embers.
Unlike the neon splendor of Night City, Dog Town's night is left with silence 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
The streets still couldn't escape the ravages of war.
The embers from six years ago reignited with ample oxygen.
Only this time, Hansen no longer represented New America; his opponents were a new breed.
They trained meticulously, fought valiantly, and coordinated precisely, engaging with the Netherworld Dog throughout the day and even advancing step by step.
Apart from Super Earth advancing on the frontline, the highest-ranked combat players were a group led by Sword Saint at the Valhalla.
But their numbers weren't particularly large, only thirty or forty people, so their mission wasn't to push forward directly, but to intersperse and target strikes against the Netherworld Dog Team.
With the support of grenade artillery and suicide UAVs, they executed surgical precision strikes on the Netherworld Dog's rally points, supply convoys, and suspected leader units.
"Over there, that tall guy should be Leon Lindel, Hansen's underling, the gambling addict."
Hiding in a building, the Sword Saint observed through a telescope the Netherworld Dog Team stationed under a giant statue.
Among them, the husky bearded man was particularly conspicuous.
Wildman: "Lindel should be the guy responsible for Netherworld Dog's frontline dispatch, we need to find a way to eliminate him; without him, our forces can move to Gem Cyan Hotel."
"It's easier said than done."
Sword Saint looked at the dozens of Hellhound robots and Netherworld Dog soldiers surrounding him, feeling like a tiger ready to devour without a mouth.
Not to mention over ten bipedal mechs, even if all thirty of them charged, the result would still be total annihilation.
"There's no chance to engage directly; our snipers only have one shot. If that guy has iron in his skull, the odds of a single shot being fatal aren't high..."
Wildman: "I'll immediately gather a UAV fleet to support you. When the Truth Department launches a strong attack to divert their main forces, the UAVs will provoke chaos, giving you a chance for surprise decapitation."
"I'm counting on you."
"Leave it to me, betting on Caldeia's glory, alright."

Lindel actually appreciated this group of mercenaries breaking into Dog Town.
At least he wouldn't have to repay the debt to the Cleaner, and during the Cleaner's clearance, he also took the opportunity to fleece some wool, as nobody could pursue them afterward.
But Lindel couldn't figure out why everything was going smoothly, then suddenly erupted into conflict.
"Activate night radar, maintain air defense zones, don't let those UAVs slip through."
"Keep your eyes sharp; if you want to see tomorrow's sun, don't get distracted."
Lindel maintained the experience from the battle six years ago, orderly issuing commands to the Netherworld Dog soldiers.
Regardless of any past grievance with Hansen, they were now grasshoppers on the same rope; one suffers, all suffer.
"This thing is amazing; why hadn't the Colonel taken it out before?"
A Netherworld Dog recruit admired the Hellhound in infrared air defense mode, this massive machine appeals to his palate.
An old soldier boasted quietly
"What do you know? This ain't the Colonel's stuff; it's military science's inventory, buried underground. If no one pushed the Colonel this time, you'd probably never see this thing."
"I thought so."
The recruit liked it more and more
"These things are much better than those silly little cars on the other side; if we had more Hellhounds, we could slaughter all these mercenaries."
He joined Netherworld Dog because it was Night City's most powerful, prestigious gang; how could he tolerate this indignity?
As the two spoke, they heard intense gunfire and artillery from the front, soon Yuri requested aid from Lindel.
This time, Super Earth's offensive was more ferocious than during the day.
"Damn it, don't these guys know what rest is?"
Lindel, sitting down to eat something, gritted his teeth; gunfire had been constant all day, making him uncomfortable.
But he didn't idly sit by; he immediately drafted a unit from the base, leading a considerable number of Hellhounds to the frontline.
The Hellhound robots marched in unison, displaying an uncanny alien-like look.
And ever since, Lindel couldn't shake the ominous feeling of being watched; this intensified when the Hellhound air defense weapon reacted.
Swarms of UAVs suddenly appeared in the night, diving toward the base under the giant statue.
Fortunately, the Netherworld Dog's night radar promptly detected the strike.
"Air raid!"
"Those UAVs are here, open fire! Open fire!"
Whirrr—
The Hellhound's rotary machine gun howled, tracer rounds slicing through the night, swinging with fireworks exploding in the sky.
But the UAVs were too many; some FPVs rapidly broke through the air defense line, meteors diving into the base, exploding with steel ball shrapnel scattering, leaving marks on the soldiers; though not fatal to cyborgs, it certainly guaranteed prolonged agony.
The raid caused some chaos in the base, Lindel knew this wasn't a random attack; more was coming.
Woo—
Indeed, faint flashes of light appeared at the distant building window; honed alertness in life and death drove Lindel to instinctively activate the Sianweistan and duck, as a 12.7Mm armor-piercing round ripped through the air above his head, striking the armored vehicle beside him.
Additionally, near the base, dozens of flamboyantly dressed individuals suddenly sprang forth, aggressively assaulting the camp.
"Fuck it! A bunch of dog bastards!"
