Chapter 258: Chapter 256: Go Ahead If You’ve Got the Guts!

The massive axe swung down toward the front, but smashed against a towering sky barrier.

Su Mo blinked, staring out at an endless world, conquered by countless towering trees—lush and dense everywhere.

Just a quick glance, and he couldn’t even see the edge of it. It was practically the size of a whole superworld.

Unwilling to give up, Su Mo threw another punch. Violent energy erupted instantly, making the entire Giant Tree World tremble.

At the same moment, sheets of enormous leaves dropped from the War Giant Tree, only for fresh shoots to sprout just as quickly.

This scene made Su Mo pause a moment; he realized he’d gone nuts with the DPS before and hadn’t noticed this at all.

But now, he discovered a pretty serious problem.

His True Damage skills didn’t seem to work on this damn tree!

He glanced to the side at the other Divine Level fighters he’d already blown apart—not a single one had revived. Then he looked at that giant dragon, still clutching its mutilated claw and roaring furiously at the heavens.

It clicked immediately—his True Damage wasn’t failing, it just didn’t work on this freak!

No—that wasn’t it. Su Mo shook his head, thinking hard. If his True Damage skill stated permanent True Damage, there’s no way it’d be useless.

There had to be something he’d missed.

With that thought, Su Mo fired up his berserk mode again—back to all-out DPS!

From the start, that Divine Level Extreme Sub-dragon had lost a claw to Su Mo, and now looked downright miserable.

As a top Dragon Race fighter, he’d always looked down on other races.

But word was that the Humans now had a High-tier God Extreme Dao fighter, so he’d gotten interested.

With his brutal dragon body and stacked attributes, he figured he could scrap with a High-tier God—he was Middle-tier God level, so why not?

He even thought he had a chance to reverse kill this guy!

After all, with his Middle-tier God strength, he’d already slaughtered plenty of High-tier Gods—just never went head-to-head against an Extreme Dao freak.

Today, he finally met one, but before he could really fight back, he’d already been wrecked. Honestly, he couldn’t claim he hadn’t fought an Extreme Dao powerhouse, since Su Mo definitely qualified.

He just hadn’t survived even a single round in Su Mo’s hands. Pathetic.

As for Su Mo, he couldn’t care less about the Dragon Race’s Middle-tier God. Sure, he was an Extreme Dao fighter, too, but the truth? Su Mo looked down on him.

The only thing that caught his interest was this giant tree right in front of him.

Because this was the first damned race that could actually recover after being hit by True Damage skills.

Su Mo stood in the starfield, unleashing a barrage of attacks. Terrifying branches, vines, roots, everything the Giant Beast World and the starry sky could throw at him—he just ignored them all.

Didn’t even dodge. Didn’t even blink. Every strike against him rebounded right back to the attacker.

Most of his own attacks were blocked by Giant Tree World—but a few hit the War Giant Tree directly.

[BOOM!!!]

A branch twenty thousand meters long shattered under Su Mo’s punch. In just a second, a fresh branch sprang up in its place.

Su Mo’s eyes widened at the sight—he realized the other guy wasn’t immune to his True Damage, it’s just that his body and life force recovery were way too damn fast.

The broken branches couldn’t reconnect, but just an inch away, a perfect new one would grow out.

Looked like he’d never even been hurt!

Same for that gaping hole Su Mo had punched straight through before.

With this sorted in his mind, Su Mo’s attacks got even wilder—a fist, a kick, a knee—every strike roaring with despair-inducing power.

Even now, Su Mo was just at Gold level, but his stats were already on par with a High-tier God!

Add in his Extreme Dao skills and Absolute Defense—at High-tier God level, Su Mo was absolutely unstoppable!

No, screw that; back when he was Silver, it was already true. He killed people, not the other way around. Try and hit him, he’d just stand there—hell, he’d beg you to swing, if you dared!

Each attack was an Extreme Dao explosion; Su Mo at max state, breaking limits across the board!

These days, even without deploying any skills, his frenzied stats alone could just steamroll everyone—speed, strength, constitution, spirit, he owned them all.

Even Half-step Super Gods couldn’t compare!

The only thing the others might have over Su Mo was their absurd, freak-level life force and recovery ability.

That was what the War Giant Tree race was famous for, after all.

Half an hour bombing away—every branch, every leaf, even the bark had cycled through, but that thing was still kicking, lively as ever.

You gotta know, Su Mo was running in Extreme Speed mode—attacking billions of times a second and counting. And yet, this insane onslaught couldn’t take the guy down—even Su Mo was a little shocked.

He’d thought even if the other’s recovery was nuts, just hammer away and eventually he’d go down. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

But this was way beyond anything he expected.

Not only did the War Giant Tree surprise Su Mo—Su Mo surprised the War Giant Tree, too.

From Su Mo’s very first hit, the giant tree realized it couldn’t heal the wounds. That was nuts.

For most races, this would be fatal. For the War Giant Tree, though, not so much.

Unless Su Mo could instantly wipe him out, and annihilate everything around him, it was no big deal.

Later, he tried hitting Su Mo back—found out his own attacks, when they landed, only injured himself!

For the first time, he felt totally helpless—like a dog trying to bite a porcupine, nowhere to start.

Attack Su Mo, and you get hurt. Get attacked by Su Mo, and you get hurt. A total lose-lose!

Eventually, he stopped attacking, curious to see—just how long could this human keep up this offense?

Burn out all his energy, and that’s when he’d die!

Humans—tiny bodies, how much energy could they really pack in? How much Origin could they store?

After all, even in the universe, certain basic laws hold. Big-bodied creatures might look clumsy, but their constitution and stats are always better than the small ones. It’s the most basic law of physics out here.

Still, Su Mo kept punching, never slowing down. Each blow cracked space—no, by now, the whole battlefield was nothing but void. Aside from the Divine Level fighters, not a single scrap of matter was left.

Not that it mattered—Su Mo showed zero signs of letting up.

[BOOM!~]

Suddenly, from the starry sky, the massive dragon claw came at Su Mo again—shimmering with gold light, huge scales shining everywhere.

Su Mo spun, countered, knuckles colliding with the claw in a crisp ding. Fractures spiderwebbed across the dragon claw, blood spattering everywhere instantly.

[BOOM!!!]

Su Mo followed up with another punch, blasting the dragon claw to pieces as a hellish scream shook the world.

"You wretch—how dare you!!"

A horrific dragon roar echoed through the cosmos!

[ROAR~~]

The terrifying sound shook the whole universe. Below, the Alien Race Battlefield convulsed violently; space itself rippled with cosmic Law, rolling out in waves, blowing up planet after planet like fireworks.

A monstrous dragon claw, too huge to see the edge, emerged, trying to smash Su Mo flat.

[DING~]

The collision between claw and Su Mo’s body sent out a roar louder than that dragon’s own roar.

The next moment, the claw vanished, replaced by a massive dragon-shaped phantom, suddenly looming into view. Just materializing, its body covered most of a galaxy—hell, it was nearly as big as Lagros back in the day.

"You hurt my Dragon Race. Kill yourself right now, and I’ll—on my word—spare your Humans!"

Su Mo didn’t even look his way, chucked a punch straight at him: "You fucking trash—who the hell do you think you are? Come on, if you’ve got the balls, do it! Kill me, right now! If not, quit your whining already!"
