Pokemon - A real story-Chapter 833 - 8 Teams
The first thing Axel did was analyze the progress of those 6 teams. Yes, Axel wanted these teams to evolve every time. He wanted to add more strategies and strengthen the coordination.
The number of people participating in these teams have increased too. The number of sun team has increased from 500 to 2000, grass team from 1000 to 3000, protect team from 500 to 5000, Poison team from 500 to 2000, Thunder team from 500 to 2500, and dream team from 500 to 1500.
Still, it was a drop in the bucket compared to 120k members. Yet, Axel was not so worried about it. These teams were made to deal with situations that normal teams could not control, and such things didn’t happen all the time.
"Marry, tell me about the sun team. How can we improve it?", asked Axel.
"Sir, the sun team can be improved in 2 ways. First of all, divide it into 10 teams. Each team will have 200 Pokemons that could use the move ’Sunny day’.
These teams could be used to fight against single-target powerful Pokemons which are of higher ranks. I have tested their firepower, and the multiple ’sunny day’ pile up the heat making fire attacks even more powerful. Healing moves like ’Synthesis’ and ’Morning sun’ is even more effective. So, if a single powerful attack is to be used by a powerful Pokemon who is basically a rank higher, then this team could do it.
Especially to grass type, ice type, steel type, and bug type Pokemons."
"Can’t we increase the number from 200 to 300? Won’t that make the sun team even more powerful?", asked Axel.
"No sir. It would not. Actually, it would backfire. First of all, the small ball of sun that Pokemons create must exist in harmony in the sky. If one of them were to clash with another, that would create an explosion and might hurt our Pokemons instead.
Secondly, the heat generated from 100 ’Sunny day’ is not to be taken lightly. Using more Pokemons to use ’Sunny day’ will also affect the fire-type Pokemons that we are using in this team.
Also, the effect of using 100 ’Sunny day’ is very wide and it covers a big distance. So, we need to think about that too.", said Marry.
"What do you mean by 100 ’Sunny day’, why not 200 of them?"
"Sir, 100 is our limit right now. I am thinking of creating a team of 200 because 100 of them will use the move while the others will attack the target or heal the allies. In a tide battle against a higher rank Pokemon, we cannot lose in speed."
"That is a good strategy. I like it. What is the other strategy?"
"Another strategy is to use a smaller team consisting of 5-10 sun team members and attach them with other members of Fairy Tail. This strategy will help us spread out and help other teams. If we create a team of 10 members, then there will be 200 small teams that could cover a large area. This might come in handy, while we are dealing in a tide battle mainly consisting of ice type, steel type, and bug type Pokemons."
Axel also noticed that the team is training to limit their ’Sunny day’ influence to not affect other battles. They were very invested in this team and Axel was happy about it.
Axel shared his thoughts on how to improve the team. The first was the strategy to combine one ’Sunny day’ with another. Since Charizard could do it, why can’t others do it? This would not only improve the power of ’Sunny day’ but the number of members in a single team would also decrease.
Unfortunately, Charizard was not here right now to teach them. But Axel was here. He was the one who taught this move to it. So, Axel said that he would help the team in doing this.
"Have you thought about combining ’Sunny day’ with a pre-domain move?", asked Axel.
"I have tried to do it but the heat is too much for even a fire-type Pokemon. A captain in my team had created a pre-domain move with his Charizard where the Charizard would consume all the heat to make its domain powerful. But the plan failed.", sighed Marry.
If this was possible, then they might create super powerful Pokemons to deal with higher rank Pokemons easily.
"So, even a fire type Pokemon cannot do it, huh?"
"Yes sir, the heat is just too much. There is also a problem that we are facing. Since the heat is too much, trainers could not be near ’Sunny day’. So, sometimes, when the command is not given right, problems will be created."
"Hmm, what about Pokemons that have the ability ’Flash fire’. Like Arcanine or Rapidash. They might be able to do it."
"I had not thought of that. I will try it, right away.", said Marry. She was excited by the possibility.
"Ok, the mission of the sun team is to do those 2 things. I will also monitor them every week.", said Axel and moved on to the next team.
###
The protect team was easier to handle. Their only strategy was to divide their teams into multiple teams so that they could defend their allies. They were extremely valuable as the lives of their allies depended on them. That was why Axel told the team to increase their numbers as much as they could.
The effectiveness of their moves could be increased and moves that could affect a larger audience were welcomed. Like ’Wide guard’.
The grass team was complicated, cause they could do a lot of things. Status moves like poison, sleep, and paralysis were game-changing at the time of need. Healing moves were also very powerful.
"Why don’t you add moves like ’Leech seed’ and ’Vine whip’ to restrain the targets? That could be really helpful."
The poison team had a lot of potential but it was also very hard to unearth this potential. Axel made Nidoking the leader of the poison team and told it to train with the Poison team.
If one of them could learn ’Poison manipulation’ from Nidoking, then their overall power would increase.
Poison could not only deal passive damage to the target but also heal the allies in the time of need. It could also cause paralysis and sleep. They could do a lot of things. Axel didn’t believe that the team could achieve it in such a short time as Nidoking also took a lot of time to achieve it. But this could be done slowly.
The thunder team was especially used previously against flying-type Pokemons. Now, since the flying-type team was also being made, Axel wanted both of them to train together so that the thunder team would not hit its allies.
Moves like ’Electric terrain’ were very useful, as they would spread out and improve the stats and the move power of their allies. They were mainly used against water types and flying-type Pokemons.
The dream team was only for assassination. It could not be used during the day and their training was also at night. So, Axel would be training with them at night.
###
After checking the progress of all those teams, Axel went to Kane to discuss about flying team.
"Kane, how many members have you selected for the flying team?", asked Axel.
"I have selected 500 of them. It is just a start and after we train, we can slowly increase the number.", said Kane.
"That is good...."
Axel and Kane went on to describe how the team would work. The moves that they would be concentrating on would be ’Hurricane’, ’Tail wind’, ’Whirlwind’. These were control moves that could control the battlefield. ’Whirlwind’ might not be a flying type move but most of the flying type Pokemons could learn it.
They would also be learning moves like ’Air cutter’ and ’Air slash’. These moves while used by multiple Pokemons could become very deadly.
The flying team was mainly going to be used to fight against flying types. They might also be used to battle against bug types, grass type, and fighting type Pokemons but they were created to fight against flying type Pokemons.
Flying-type Pokemons were very annoying to deal with in tide battles. That was why Axel decided to create this team.
Since flying team would be used to fight against flying types, they needed to have enough stamina, defense, and speed.
So, they would be concentrating on that too.
Teleportation team had only one job. That was to save their allies and teleport them out of harm. This was their only job. Axel saw the value of this team in the previous team battle.
The number of Pokemons in this team was around 10k. This was very small as they could not cover 120k Pokemons during the time of need but it was still a start.
Psychic-type Pokemons were difficult to train and they were also very rare.
###
After dealing with all 8 teams, Axel went ahead to gather the reports from Ashmita.
He wanted to see which one would need his attention. He had brought every one of them here cause the system recognized this as his land. So, he told every one of them to release their Pokemons to train.
Of course, he needed a good reason to tell them that. So, he said that in tide battles, the bond between a Pokemon and a trainer was very important. If you fear that your Pokemon would run away, then there was no need to participate in tide battles.
What they didn’t know was that releasing their Pokemons would increase the training speed of their Pokemons.
So, Axel went ahead to help the new members and the old members of the team.
He was so busy with all of this that he could not even concentrate on his own training. He decided to start his training from tomorrow.
"Is everything going okay?", asked Axel.
"Yes sir. Everything is going perfectly. The new members are training well. I think we should do something about the returnees and the experienced.", remarked Ashmita.
"Yes, I think we should do something about them. They might break the balance of the team. I will think something about this. Don’t worry."
The returnees were grouped together in a single group while the experienced were scattered around. Axel felt that having an experienced member in the group of new members would result in a good synergy.
But such a thing was not happening right now. The experienced, who had past battle experience from being the soldier of the league were arrogant.
They didn’t treat the new members with any sort of respect. This would break the balance of the team and Axel didn’t want that.
But right now was not the time to think about it. He had an important appointment right now.

"Hello, Serena."
"Hello, Axel. I didn’t expect you to come here with your friends."
"I hope that they are not troubling you." ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
"No, they are not. So, is there something that you want to talk about?", asked Serena.
"Yes, I want you to teach my team members about psychic powers. Especially about teleportation. Can you do that for me?"
"Hmm.. Yes, I have no problem in doing that. But I have a fixed time to train them. They must be flexible."
"I will tell them about it."
Serena was the Latios that had been living on this island. Since it was just sitting there and doing nothing, Axel came up with a good plan to help it train his team members.
Of course, Latias was now in a human form and it didn’t want to reveal its identity to others.
It will teach these new teleportation team by camouflaging as Serena.
It was already evening and the training was going to stop. It was now the time to train ghost-type Pokemons. Mainly, Alon’s team.
