Pokemon - A real story-Chapter 835: Staraptor

"Sigh, There is no blessing.", said Axel softly.

Axel had expected to receive a blessing from Slowemperor. He was waiting for it but it didn't come. A blessing would have increased the power of Slowemperor to a new level.

"Well, I will have to wait for it. It will take some time."

Slowemperor came towards Axel to tell them that it had finally ranked up.

"Congratulation, Magnus. You have finally done it. I am proud of you. Now, you need to get used to your new rank and new body. Take some time and then we will discuss about your directions.", said Axel.

When a Pokemon evolves or ranks up, they would need some time to get used to their new body and rank. This was especially true for those in higher ranks. Because when a Pokemon of higher ranks, ranks up, the new power they get would really be out of the world.

There would be a major upgrade to their stats and they need to get used to it. Slowemperor may take a couple of weeks to get used to its new body and now Axel also had to think about the new direction for Slowemperor.

It was already focusing on snow and illusion, and he needed to find proper training methods for it. Luckily, the system had provided details on the ice path, so he didn't need to worry about snow manipulation, but the illusion was something that he should work on.

Axel started to call Oak, Red, and Venu family about the direction of the illusion. None of them picked up the phone except for Angela.

"Axel, I can tell you how to train it but I cannot tell you what to train. Every Pokemon will have its own way of mastering the new directions. After reaching pseudo-champion rank, every Pokemon would walk in their own way. That is why it is called directions.

Even in the illusion category, there are many ways, one could train in. Your Pokemon just has to find the perfect one for itself. But there are some things that I can tell you."

"Oh, what is it? These directions are really giving me a headache.", sighed Axel. It was very hard cause there were no proper way to train his Pokemons on it. He had find his own way but he didn't even know how to do that too.

"When your Pokemon ranks up to pseudo-champion rank, there is a significant change in its core. That is why it is recommended to decide on the direction of the Pokemon before it reaches pseudo-champion rank so that its core could also be used in that particular way.", said Angela.

"Ok, so how do I start to train it in illusions?", asked Axel.

"You will first have to train your Pokemon to create a completely new move regarding that direction. Living in the area where the Pokemon could manipulate that particular direction might make it easier to do its job too.

After creating that move, you will have to constantly upgrade those new moves to its benefit. Remember Axel, now you are in the big leagues. When creating a move, you will just need to follow the basic properties of that move. Almost anything is possible for you and your Pokemons now.

But you have to remember that once you think of that particular way you want your Pokemon's direction to go, you cannot change it. So, you have to be careful."

Angela gave him a lot of advice on how to train in a particular direction. It was very complicated but Axel got the gist of it.

Magnus needed to create a new move regarding a particular direction. Magnus needs to follow the basic principles and rules of that direction and it could do anything. Magnus finally needs to follow one path of direction.

It was not as easy as it sounded. Creating a new move for his Pokemon was not so hard for him unlike other trainers, but he would have to solely invest in that move.

To reach champion rank, he needed to create a new move and then upgrade it. Once it reaches champion rank, the Pokemon could focus on other parts of the direction and create 2 more new moves and master it.

That was the rule.

"Ahh, this is spinning my head. How can I decide on which way to focus?", shouted Axel.

"I will take time to think about it. Now it is time to think about other Pokemons."

Slowemperor would need some time to get used to its new rank and he had time to think about it.

Axel looked at his new Pokemons, Koffing, and Pawniard. Even though they could not train right now, he had already made all the preparations for them.

Koffing was an interesting Pokemon. It's had a hollow body but there were poisonous gasses inside its body that made it float. It's had incredibly high defense and it could manipulate those poisonous gases.

Koffing eats trash and garbage to get these poisonous gases. It would then build up those poisonous gases and manipulate it to use powerful poison attacks. This was going to be a problem cause he didn't want his Koffing to eat trash and garbage.

So, he bought a lot of poisonous liquid for Koffing. It could not eat those right now. It needed to be at least 1 month to grow properly. Axel bought a lot of poisonous liquid for a few million Poke dollars.

None of these liquids were of high quality because Koffing could not inhale high-quality liquids right now. It needed to get stronger to do that.

Its evolution was also very interesting. It was said that under a concentrated poisonous gas pool, 2 Koffings would merge to complete the evolution. However, he had also heard that there was a case where 3 Koffings merged to complete the evolution.

So, if 3 could merge, did that mean that 7 of them could also merge? Wouldn't that make the evolved Weezing even more powerful?

Then he looked at the whetstones that he had recently bought. This was for Pawniard. It would need good quality whetstones to sharpen its swords. Axel had high hopes for Pawniard. When it becomes Kingambit, he believed that it might be one of the most powerful Pokemon in his team.

Axel also bought a lot of sword fighting techniques for Pawniard. It was not that hard to get and also not expensive. These sword techniques had been sitting in the vaults for many years doing nothing.

During ancient times, humans also fought alongside their Pokemons. So, these techniques sold like hotcakes at that time. But now, they simply let their Pokemons fight and these techniques were just rusting.

Axel started to sort out the techniques to see which would fit Pawniard. Pawniard was going to use its whole body like a sword to fight. He had seen some of them fight on the internet but he was just not impressed with them. So, he decided to research about it.

Staravia woke up early in the morning and now it was ready to train. It could feel that it was very close to its evolution and just a little push would make it reach it.

Axel had put a condition on its evolution and it needed to upgrade 'Fiery aura' to a new level.

It was determined to complete it today. For the past month, it had been training nonstop cause it wanted to win the tournament which was going to be held in 3 months. It knew that it was weak and it needed to beat Wartortle if it wanted to win this competition.

Wartortle was very defensive and its life-saving skills were very hard to deal with. It was only weak to grass and electric-type moves but unfortunately, it could not learn any of those moves.

Staravia started to think of a strategy to beat Wartortle but it was very defensive. It didn't have a high attack move that could deal with it swiftly. It was not as powerful and it needed to reach higher rank to do it.

So, finally, it decided to learn the move 'Wild charge'. Till now it had made zero progress on it but it was hopeful.

'Fiery aura' would increase its speed, attack power, and perception but it could only be used for 3 minutes. It consumed a lot of stamina. Staravia wanted to decrease stamina consumption.

Suddenly, it was now covered in an orange color aura and then it started to fly in the sky. Its speed had increased to the limit. It changed its direction and noticed that the stamina consumption had increased.

It went down, closed its eyes, and started to slowly control the aura around it to maximize stamina usage.

After training for an hour. It took rest and then focused on its other moves. It had recently learned the move 'Flamethrower'. It felt that this was going to be a crucial move in its development.

After training for the whole day, Staravia finally started to train on 'Fiery aura' again. And finally, it felt that it was covered in a glow of power.

Its body started to change and it could feel that it had somehow become more powerful than before.

Axel was just near it and he saw that it was finally evolving.

The evolution process was sorted. It took only 3-4 minutes to complete its evolution. Staraptor finally came out of its evolution.

It was excited to finally evolve. It flew in the sky and came near Axel. Axel patted its head saying, "Congrats on evolving. You look great."
