Pokemon: Radical Redux-Chapter 332: Legendary Beasts attack
Chapter 332 - Legendary Beasts attack
Ok we good, i got my computer back, lets go
---
Morty walked up to Ash. "Well then, Rainbow Hero, I should have known I was no match. You were chosen by Ho-Oh, after all."
"Well, you almost got me, but it wouldn't have happened if you didn't cheese Kleavor," Ash jabbed back.
"Well, in my defense... I've got nothing. But that doesn't mean I'm apologizing either~" Morty smirked.
Morty grabbed the badge he had pinned to his shirt and handed it to Ash. "I guess you'll have to settle for this instead~"
Ash chuckled as he took the badge. Since Morty had used his Mega, this counted for the gimmick challenge, meaning Ash needed two more. Then, he could skip all those extra rounds.
As Ash put the badge in his pocket, he looked over and saw his friends already watching him, and Wyrdeer. Green especially, since, as she put it before, evolution was her thing.
As he walked toward them, Molly ran ahead and jumped up to hug Ash by the waist. "Big brother, you did it! You won! I knew you would!"
Ash rubbed her head. "Of course, big brothers never lose, right?"
"Yeah! I believe you! And your Pokémon, he's so big and cool!" Molly said as she rubbed Wyrdeer's leg, the only spot she could reach.
Ash chuckled softly as he grabbed her by the waist. "Here we go," he said, lifting her up and placing her on top of Wyrdeer. She buried her face in the fluffy fur.
"It's so fluffy!" Molly's muffled voice squeaked as she nuzzled into the fluff.
Just then, Green stepped up behind Ash, arms crossed, foot tapping impatiently. Her sharp green eyes locked onto Ash like a predator sizing up its prey.
"Alright, spill it," she demanded, pointing a finger at Wyrdeer. "How in the world did you get that? Evolution is my thing! Can't you save some stuff for the rest of us?"
Ash chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his head. "Heh... would you believe me if I said I got lucky?"
"No," Green deadpanned.
"I barely believe you when you say you go on a regular walk," Misty mumbled. Brock honestly had to agree with her on this one.
Silver leaned closer to Ash and whispered, "I think she might strangle you this time."
Yellow looked back and forth between them nervously. "I-I'm sure he has a good explanation?" she said, hoping he did. She really didn't want to see her friends fight.
Ash cleared his throat. "Well, Professor Oak told me about it. I asked him to explain how, and he said not yet. I reminded him that he gave away my starter, and he folded like a house of cards."
"Uh-huh..." Green narrowed her eyes. She didn't fully believe him, she's known Ash long enough to know when he was holding something back. But she also knew that if he was trying this hard to keep it a secret, she wouldn't get anything out of him.
"Fine, I'll accept that for now. But I'm going to call the Professor," Green said, crossing her arms.
"Yeah, sure, go ahead," Ash said with a shrug. "Interrogate him. It's his problem, not mine." After all, they had already made an entire alibi, so it should be fine.
"And I will! Kleavor, I understand, he's been out for three months. But a Wyrdeer? That is a line too far!" Green huffed, pouting as she looked away from Ash.
"Oh, come on. You can't blame me every time. It's not like I was the one who discovered them," Ash said, using a big-brain move called lying.
Green huffed again. "I don't know why, but I suddenly want to punch you."
As Ash sighed, Ethan walked up behind him and patted his back. "Men, we don't know what we did~🎵" he hummed the ever-familiar tune.
Morty chuckled, giving Ash a pat on the back as well. "I think I like your friends."
Ash sighed. "They're... an acquired taste."
"Hey, you're saying that like you're not the biggest weirdo in the friend group," Chloe said, rolling her eyes. Behind her, Regina was still cradling Mirche.
Ash rolled his eyes but smiled. "Okay, yeah, fair point. But in my defense, look at our options."
He pointed at Brock. "Girl-crazy weirdo."

Then Misty. "Tomboy weirdo."
Then Ethan. "Just a big weirdo."
Then Silver. "Edgy weirdo."
Then Kris. "Catching weirdo."
Then Green. "Scamming weirdo."
Finally, he gestured toward Yellow. "And Yellow... Do I even need to say more?"
"W-what? What do you mean?" Yellow stammered nervously.
"No, no, that is a very fair point," Green nodded in agreement.
Brock also understood. "Yeah, you really don't have to say anything else."
"Even I can tell," Ethan chimed in.
"W-wait, I-I—" Yellow shuddered, blushing in embarrassment.
Ash turned away from her and looked back at Chloe. "Exactly. But at least I'm a charming weirdo," he said, giving a wink, which made both Chloe and Regina sputter.
Misty scoffed. "Charming? That's debatable."
"Awww, are you feeling neglected? Do you want a hug~?" Ash teased.
"Who'd want a hug from you?!" Misty yelled back.
"I meeaannn... if you're offering, bro," Ethan joked. After all, a hug between homies wasn't weird. Well, except for the fact that Kris elbowed him in the side.
Meanwhile, Molly was still snuggled into Wyrdeer's thick fur, giggling. "Big brother, I think I'm never getting down."
Ash rubbed her head. "That's fine. You live there now."
Molly gasped. "Really?!"
"No." Ash booped her nose, making Molly pout. "But you can stay up there for as long as you want while you're here."
"Is it really that soft?" Yellow asked, trying to steer the conversation far, far away from her being labeled a weirdo.
Ash just pointed with his thumb. "Go ahead."
Yellow hesitated, eyeing the big deer before slowly stepping forward and reaching out. The moment her hand sank into the thick fur, her eyes widened. "Wow... it really is."
Green turned away, crossing her arms. "Please, like I'd believe that. You're not making me calm down that easily."
Ash just rolled his eyes, walked over, grabbed her by the shoulders, and effortlessly lifted her up, turning her so her face sank into Wyrdeer's fur.
That seemed to do the trick. Green stopped complaining and, after a moment, buried her face even deeper into the floof.
Ash wasn't surprised. After all, the whole reason Wyrdeer went extinct was because humans hunted them down for their fur.
Morty chuckled. "Well, that's just fun. You guys sure make things more entertaining. As much as I'd like to stick around and see what other chaos you lot get up to, I've got to get back to helping out. You know, gym leader stuff. I should probably call the League too, let them know about Suicune."
"Yeah, about that, I thought Falkner was going to tell everyone so they could be ready," Brock said, crossing his arms.
Morty sighed. "Unfortunately, he did. But with only his word, we couldn't confirm it, so we were just told to be a little more cautious. But now that we have proof, I'll go tell the League so all the gym leaders can properly prepare."
"Then you should probably do that soon," Silver finally said, crossing his arms. "Since only Suicune was here, that means the other two are doing something we don't know about. They could be anywhere, doing anything."
Everyone fell silent as the weight of the situation hit them. If just one of the legendary beasts was enough to overpower all five of them, then any gym leader who faced them unprepared had no hope.
"Right, I'm going then. Enjoy the rest of the festival. And Ash, if I find anything, I'll let you know right away," Morty nodded before turning and walking away.
As soon as he was gone, Ash finally adjusted his kimono, slipping his arm back into the sleeve and tightening the belt. "Well, we've got the rest of the day. How about it? Wanna party till the sun comes up?"
Everyone looked at him. Ethan was the first to speak. "Absolutely!" he said with a toothy grin and a thumbs-up.
Ash nodded and turned to Chloe and Regina. "Well, you two coming or not?"
Regina blinked, pointing at herself. "Us?"
"Sure, unless you'd rather go back to your classmates," Ash teased.
Chloe rolled her eyes. "Ugh, fine. If you insist." She crossed her arms, but there was a small smile on her face.

(Meanwhile, in Kanto)
In Vermilion City, Lt. Surge flexed his arm. It had been two days since his cast was finally removed, and he was still getting used to using it again. But little by little, he was regaining his strength.
Visquez walked over, waving at him before giving a salute. "Hey, Lt. Surge, how are you feeling?"
Surge nodded. "Better. Feels good to have feeling in my arm again. Now I can get back to battling overconfident kids," he said with a smirk.
"Ahh, yeah..." Visquez said sheepishly. "I don't think I'm nearly strong enough. I ended up handing out three badges in a row, to three different kids. One had pink hair, another had purple hair, who I'm 90% sure was her sister, and then some other purple-haired guy with this weirdly annoying kid following him around."
"Huh. Well, not the weirdest thing," Surge chuckled. "But don't worry, you just need to learn how we do things around here." He cracked his knuckles. "How about it? Wanna spar, just to see if I'm rusty?"
Before Visquez could respond, a sudden roar echoed through the sky. The clouds darkened, casting an eerie shadow over the city. Civilians looked around in confusion, some instinctively stepping back while others pulled out their phones.
Then, with a thunderous impact, Raikou landed atop Surge's boat, its claws scraping against the metal as it let out a low, menacing growl.
Surge's eyes narrowed. "Raikou... so they're coming after us," he muttered, his hand instinctively reaching for his Poké Ball belt.
Visquez gulped, scanning the area. "Sir, what do we do?"
"Get the civilians out of here, I'll handle Raikou!" Surge barked.
"Understood." Visquez nodded and sprinted off, calling out to the crowd. "Everyone, clear the area! Move back, NOW!" She did her best to push people away from the danger zone, but she couldn't stop them from snapping photos. After all, this was a sight no one expected to see, Lt. Surge versus Raikou.
Yet, Raikou did not attack immediately. It stood still, golden eyes locked onto Surge, analyzing him. Studying him.
Surge grabbed a Poké Ball. "That there's my boat. I don't appreciate you scratching it with your claws."
Raikou exhaled deeply before roaring into the sky. Thunder crackled, and storm clouds gathered overhead, electricity buzzing in the air.
But Surge didn't flinch. He simply smirked. "Is that supposed to scare me? I've seen Privates more threatening than you."
Raikou's eyes flashed. In a single leap, it sprang down toward the battlefield.
Surge hurled his Poké Ball. Their battle had begun.

Saffron City
Inside her home, Sabrina sat comfortably, absorbed in a script she was reading. Instead of her usual form-fitting gym uniform, she wore a more casual outfit, reminiscent of her Gold and Silver days, a simple pink tank top and white sweatpants.
Ever since last year, with some encouragement from Ash and Yellow, she had decided to explore acting. She was still the acting Gym Leader, teleporting back and forth when needed, but this was something new, something different.
Her father, Takurou, had also taken on a more active role, helping train young psychics who sought control over their powers. Her mother, on the other hand, had thrown herself into supporting Sabrina's acting career, mainly by constantly buying her new clothes. Though Sabrina was about 80% sure that was just an excuse to dress her up in something other than her usual attire.
Taking a breath, she set the script aside. Before she could even move, she sensed her father approaching.
"You really can't hide anything from me, huh?" he said as he stepped into the room.
"No, not really," she replied in her usual monotone, though there was a faint touch of warmth.
Takurou sat beside her. "So, how are you feeling? Figured I'd try to make up for lost time and at least act like a father."
Sabrina was silent for a moment before answering. "...I don't know. I guess I kinda feel weird. Like I want to throw up."
Takurou gave her a knowing smile. "That's called being nervous. I guess when you use your powers all the time, you've never really felt that before, huh?"
Sabrina looked at him, completely serious. "I don't like it. How do I make it go away?"
Takurou chuckled. "That's the fun part, you don't. Welcome to how the rest of us feel."
Sabrina blinked, clearly unimpressed. Before she could retort, Takurou stretched and stood up. "Anyway, your mother wanted me to call you for dinner."
"Alright, let's go," Sabrina said, standing and stretching. She was about to teleport straight to the dining room—until she heard it.
A deep, guttural roar.
Both she and Takurou turned their heads toward the source.
Standing atop their mansion, watching them like a king surveying his domain, was Entei.
The two psychics stiffened, their eyes widening in shock. Without hesitation, they each teleported a Poké Ball into their hands.
"What is it doing here...?" Takurou mumbled.
"I heard from the League that the Legendary Beasts were targeting Gym Leaders," Sabrina said, eyes narrowing. "I guess this confirms it."
Takurou's eye twitched in irritation. "So it's here for you? For what, some kind of test? This is ridiculous."
"But we don't have a choice," Sabrina replied, her voice calm yet resolute as she prepared for battle.
Entei's gaze remained locked onto them. Then, with a deafening roar, it leaped down toward them.
Their battle had begun.

April Fools Omake story - The Picnic Incident
(There is no real timeline for this, you can imagine this conversation happened whenever maybe it already happened, maybe its going to happen later, doesn't matter)
The living room was quiet except for the faint hum of the TV and the occasional clink of utensils against plates. It was one of those rare lazy days, no training, no battles, just Ash, Gary, Green, and Yellow lounging around, enjoying the afternoon. Daisy had made lunch for them, and now, they were sprawled across the couch watching some random reality show about trainers and their Pokémon teams as they where enjoying a hot pot
"Man, this show is ridiculous," Gary muttered, slouching further into the couch as be bit into a piece of chicken, "Who actually believes half this drama is real?"
On the screen, a trainer dramatically pointed at his partner Pokémon, a very exhausted-looking Machoke, while shouting something about betrayal and teamwork.
"Oh no, the Machoke is gonna 'quit' the team again," Green said, air-quoting. "So shocking. Totally didn't see that coming...for the 3rd time this season"
Yellow giggled. "I think it's kind of fun. Even if it's fake, it's nice seeing how they stage everything."
Ash, flipping a PokéBall idly in his hand, shrugged. "At least it's entertaining. Better than watching reruns of 'Cooking with Slowpoke' again."
Gary groaned. "Don't remind me. How did you even sit through that?"
"The suspense, Gary," Ash said, smirking. "Will the Slowpoke ever realize it's supposed to stir the pot before it cuts off its tail? Who knows? Edge of your seat entertainment."
Green rolled her eyes. "Right. Sure." Then, as if something clicked, she perked up. "Speaking of entertainment... I just remembered something."
Gary glanced at her warily. "What."
Green smirked. "Oh, nothing. Just that somebody brought up a little thing called 'The Picnic Incident' the other day."
Gary immediately tensed. "Nope. Forget it."
Yellow blinked. "Wait, what was that again?"
"That's what I want to know," Green said, leaning forward. "But somebody is very tight-lipped about it."
"That's because it's not important," Gary said quickly.
Which, of course, only made Green more interested. "Ohhh, see, that's where you messed up, Gar-bear. If you really wanted me to forget, you shouldn't have reacted."
Gary pinched the bridge of his nose. "I hate you all"
Ash, meanwhile, put another piece of meat into his mouth, "Oh yeah, that was a legendary day."
"Don't you dare, Ketchum," Gary warned.
Green turned her full attention to Ash. "Oh, he dares. You definitely dare."
Ash stretched dramatically. "Y'know... I could keep it a secret~"
Gary shot him a glare, "Ash..."
"...But I also live for the memes," Ash said with a shrug.
"I swear to Arceus—"
"So picture this," Ash began, ignoring Gary's growing distress as he tryed to cover his mouth but Ash just held his hand out holding Gary back, "We were kids. A warm, sunny day. A nice, peaceful picnic. All was well, we where like 4 or 5, it was before you started hanging out with us Green"
Green leaned in closer, "And then?"
Ash bit back a grin. "And then... Gary learned what it's like to be public enemy number one in the eyes of an entire flock of Spearow."
Yellow gasped. Green's eyes widened in pure delight. "NO WAY."
"Oh, yes way," Ash continued. "See, someone, who shall remain nameless but whose name might rhyme with 'rash', may or may not have slipped a certain bait into Gary's shorts while he wasn't looking."
Yellow covered her mouth. "Oh no."
"Oh yes," Ash nodded, barely containing his laughter. "And then, completely by accident, our picnic food got knocked over at the same time."
Green had to grip the couch to keep herself steady. "You mean to tell me..." She struggled to breathe through her laughter. "You turned Gary into a walking Spearow magnet?"
"Wanna know the best part?" Ash grinned. "He ran."
"How long?" Green asked, still wheezing.
Gary groaned, hiding his face in his hands.
Ash held up three fingers.
Green wiped away a tear. "Three minutes?"
Ash shook his head.
Yellow gasped. "Thirty?"
"Thirty."
Green lost it. "You mean to tell me you were sprinting for a full half hour while a horde of angry Spearow tried to peck you to death?!"
Gary muttered something under his breath, which sounded suspiciously like a string of curses directed at Ash.
"Oh, oh, and the best part," Ash added, barely able to speak through his own laughter. "He lost his shorts, and what i sa-" Ash tried to say but Gary slapped his hand over his mouth
"Shut up, you said enough, don't say the last part!" Gary yelled
Ash grabbed his hand and pulled away, "Ok ok i won't say it," Ash said and Gary gave a sigh of relief,
But then Ash gave a smirk, "Its fine...Acorn~"
Gary turned bright red and Green widdened her mouth, "Ain't no way, you don't mean-"
Ash nodded, "I do"
"WE WHERE KIDS ITS NOT...LIKE THAT ANYMORE!" Gary said blushing
Yellow tilted her head, "What... what do Acorns have to do with this...?"
"Don't worry about it," Green said patting Yellow's head, not wanting to ruin it but she was still laughing, after all Gary was always so confident, to think its like 'that'
"Ash i swear i'll get my revenge one day..." Gary mumbled
"Please you've never pranked me even once, and if you try hitting me i will turn you into a liquid me dude, they won't bring in a stretcher the'll bring in a paper cup for whats left of you, so try me"
