109 The Dark Rose

After cutting more than twenty stones from the first trip Rong Yue had made to the night market, Lu San was already confident in her skills and so when he saw them carefully inspect the stones to be sure that there was no cracks or anything, he looked just unfazed as she was.

When the five stones passed the check, the started the main cutting.

Rong Yue noticed that their equipment was more advanced than that of the night market store that they went to and so in less than ten minutes, all of the five stands with the stones being cut were already glistening with light from the stones.

The three bosses that had met with them were stunned silly as they saw the light. She had claimed there were stones in all of them. And there seemed to be truly!

As soon as the stones were all cut, they were even more more shocked. All of them had stones.

Since when has that happened to them? Most of their cutters spent days cutting before they could find 10 Jade and yet they had been delivered in one day to them.

More importantly, other than emperor jade, every of the five Jade that had been cut before had a partner from the one she had brought before.

The woman turned back to look at Rong Yue, “did you know the stones that were in them?” She asked, her eyes searching to see if she would find any clue from Rong Yue.

“It’s a beautiful coincidence as the emperor jades were picked from more than a year’s gathering to impress you, the new one however, is from our last batch of sourcing, since they were broken apart from only one source, it’s not hard to see that there are three to five more smaller pieces containing similar ones,” she explained patiently.

Since she covered all the dots, there was nothing more for the woman to ask and she nodded in understanding.

“Then that is a good thing after all. We would be buying these ten jades from you at a very good price, however, we hope that you can explain what you want from your next deal to us appropriately,” one of the men spoke up.

“I would like to supply you stones, however, as I don’t have cutting equipments, I won’t be able to know the value of the stone that I bring, if you would allow me to supervise all the cutting process every time, and sell at the value of the Jade inside the stone for the next three months, then we have a deal,”

The three of them looked at her in confusion. It was hard to understand a deal like this, after all, she could get enough money to buy a stone cutter just from today’s deal. Even a little child would know that she had ulterior motives just based on the condition she had placed.

For people like them that had been in the important running of a big jewelry empire like DKR, they were not lacking in sense and could already sense that something was wrong.

If the benefits they stood to gain wasn’t so great, they would have immediately rejected a deal like this.

“Since the boss is around, let us ask him to handle a matter like this,” one of them whispered but his words received a glare from the woman immediately.

“What do you mean the boss is around? A matter like this should be taken to the boss?” The woman replied harshly, their boss was barely here, if they took a matter like this to him, he would of course think they were becoming worse.

“You should know that boss is here because he’s displeased about the little turn over rate, let’s take this matter up, if his assistants think it’s trival, they won’t let us reach the boss,” the second man said, it was not hard to see that his authority was the highest between them as the woman gave up as soon as he talked.

“Miss, if you don’t mind, we would lead you and partner to a resting place, while we would meet with the higher ups to let them know your offer,” she spoke up.

Rong Yue nodded, having no problem with that and signaled that Lu San goes ahead to pick the newly cut five Jade.

The three of them then left the cutting room. They were led to the fourth floor and shown to a room that looked like it was designed for this purpose exactly, however, Rong Yue was sure that there was going to be cameras there.

Lu San was also aware of such a thing and so even though the both of them entered and sat down without searching for a camera, they barely exchanged any words.

“What do you think would be their final decision,” Rong Yue asked him after a while.

“It depends on how badly they need the Jade,” Lu San said, after then, the both of them discussed several causal matters after which Rong Yue started to play with her phone.

Since she was trading stocks, she liked to keep her eyes on things in the market, everyday, she was able to rake in huge profits everyday.

But regardless, she couldn’t be careless, after all, she would lose money if she made any mistakes.

“Master, I’m watching over it, you can let your mind rest,” Little Loli exclaimed as she felt Rong Yue’s line of thought.

“Okay,” Rong Yue agreed quickly and then closed the software on her phone, everything she had been doing all disappeared like as if they were never on the phone.

“Is that some matter you expect me to handle?” He asked with frustration crossing his attractive features.

“No master, but the lady in question is the same one that came this city’s headquarters the last time you were there,” the man in black said.

After that day, his master had made him collect all the information on the woman, it was not hard to see that she had left an impression on him.

So instead of just going down to deal with the matter, as soon as he checked the camera and realized that it was Miss Rong Yue, he had decided to inform him.

Mo Yifan smiled widely as he heard that part of the information.

“To think that she was the one that came to meet me first,” he said with a low and throaty chuckle.

When Rong Yue and Lu San were called upstairs, her eyes glistened with a little suspicion. Was the matter such a big deal?

For her, she had put out her offer in an obvious way because she wanted them to understand that she was interested in how they ran their matters. “I guess Miss Rong has a misconception about me,” Mo Yifan said, standing up from where he was seated.

“You can settle matters with the representatives that you have met, I’ll do my possible best to not get involved, however, three months is far too much for you,” he said and then gave her a knowing glance.

“I had no intention of hiding my real purpose here. However, I don’t have any interest here again,” she said confidently.

Although he had been nice to her, she still couldn’t forget what Song Jian had gone through all those years from his organization.

So when looking at that devilishly handsome face that could rival the one of that man she had come to know, she had no good feelings towards him. In fact, he was like a rose to her, exactly like his company.
