President Qin's Little Wife Is The Strongest-Chapter 79
79 A Furious President
Rong Yue and Wu Hao said nothing more as they started with the test. Since it was going to be international and with a lot of applicants, the exam was computer based. However, the teachers had opted for just setting the computer timer while allowing them to use the written one they had done.
Out of the two hours they had allocated, Rong Yue had finished in thirty minutes and sat back on her seat while Wu Hao finished his tests in an hour.
“Too hard?” the teacher that had scolded them earlier said with a scoff as he walked forward and took their papers.
Unlike the final examinations, this was a competition that tested all areas and so the man made copies quickly and passed the papers to all the teachers that had set the questions in there.
“I find it a lot simpler than the ones you would usually set, I found just one section tricky.” Wu Hao confessed as he dragged his chair closer to Rong Yue.
“They are basic, if we score anything less than a ninety on this then we have no chance at all.” Rong Yue said with a chuckle and then the both of them watched as the teachers marked and then very quickly came together.
“Good! Good! You both did very well, Rong Yue scored a 100 while Wu Hao got a 99 with a little mistake.” teacher Lu announced with a beaming smile. The two students in front of him had an impassive face like what they had done wasn’t any great feat at all.
“Perhaps we would do even better than we expect.” one of the teachers said with a sigh and all the others nodded in agreement.
“Although you scored a 100 here, by our estimate, that’s only a fifty in the preliminaries examination as what we set is half the difficulty level of the real thing. So you both cannot begin to lag behind in your studies.” he added and the both of them listened without a word, after half an hour later, they finally dismissed them to go.
.....
Rong Yue was surprised to see that Sun Li and Song Jian were standing in front of the staff office building when they came out, after all, they had spent nothing less than two hours there and were expecting the whole school to be deserted.
“How did it go?” Sun Li asked anxiously as she sprang up from where she was sitting forgetting that there had been a block there when she sat down.
She let out a loud shriek as she thought she was going to fall while Song Jian and Rong Yue rushed out at the same moment to save her. Before Rong Yue could get there, Song Jian had already saved the day and held her out by the waist.
“You should be more careful.” he chided gently as he helped her steady her feet with his hands that were by her waist. Sun Li nodded hurriedly with her face flushed red in embarrassment. Wu Hao subconsciously glanced at Rong Yue to be sure she had seen the dazed look in Sun Li’s eyes as she looked at Song Jian and the both of them shared a knowing look.
Perhaps because she hadn’t expected that someone like him would have such a hard life, or maybe his perseverance had gotten to her, Rong Yue had noticed from the first day Song Jian had returned to school that there was something wrong about how Sun Li was looking at Song Jian.
“Yue’er, my brothers asked that I bring my friends over for a congratulatory lunch. We were waiting for you both.” Sun Li said as she looked at Wu Hao as if asking for his opinion. Although her first brother had only asked her to invite Rong Yue over, she had felt it would be weird and had decided that it would be better to invite all of them.
Song Jian and Wu Hao subconsciously looked at Rong Yue as if waiting for her decision.
“Okay, is it today?”
“Yes, I had my driver wait so we could all leave together.”
Like that, the four of them entered the big jeep that had been sent to pick Sun Li up.
The distance between her house was about an hour drive and h=the four of them spent time discussing things that had happened back in school and what their plans were for the future.
“If I don’t get into any university in the capital, you three intend to leave me?” Sun Li asked as she discovered that even Rong Yue that was rumoured to be going to a college in their city had actually picked the number 1 school in the capital.
“You will get in.” Rong Yue said confidently. Sun Li was not retarted and had only been unwilling to go to study. With all the training and coaching, she felt it was impossible for her to not get into a college in the capital at all.
Besides, one had to also put into perspective that if that was what she wanted, her family would do their best to get it. As for the other two, she had no worries at all.
A message ding from her phone pulled Rong Yue away from the conversation as she checked her message. Since Qin Yichen had left A city, he had constantly left her messages and more importantly, had the restaurant that he had named ‘Yue’ send her lunch and dinner all the time.
“Have you had lunch yet? Heard you called to have them send only dinner over”
Like always, his messages were direct to the point and Rong Yue replied immediately to let him know of her plans.
Qin Yichen’s reply was just as quick, like he had been waiting for her to reply. “Sun Yan’s sister?”
“Yes, that Sun family.” Rong Yue replied innocently, kept her phone back in her purse and then continued her conversation with her friends.
In the Qin Corporation, three men that were seated in front of Qin Yichen suddenly exchanged glances as they felt the sudden change in the air.
“Second brother? Has your third brother run off again?” Mo Fan asked, his eyes shining with a thirst for gossip.
“The very next time he runs, I will be dying your hair back to black, all his rebellion is coming from you.” he shot at him, eyeing the bright purple hair in Mo Fan’s head.
“Lu San, call A city’s military, I need them to call Sun Yan in for an emergency call this instant.” he ordered as his eyes went back to the little girl’s message.
He felt like he almost couldn’t wait to have here in the capital where he could see her all day and all the time. It was not hard to see Sun Yan’s intention towards her. Although he felt his chances were low, Qin Yichen was not one to take chances. And when it came to her specifically, he always felt like nothing, not even her meal could go wrong.
Mo Fan and Lu San nodded while Mo Fan stood up in a rush. “Second brother, I’ll be back now, I’ll leave you to cool off some steam.” he said and rushed out of the room.
Very quickly, there was only one person left in front of Qin Yichen.
“Rewrite the entire report.” he said with a dismissive wave of his hand that had the manager running out of the room like he was competing with the speed of light.
??????
Sun Li led them to the living room as soon as they gathered and Rong Yue was surprised to see the small crowd that had gathered and pulled her into a hug as soon as they entered.
“Xiao Li! You didn’t mention that....” her mother started but before she could finish her words, Sun Kai, the second brother of the family cut in.
“Are these all your friends, we had invited only your cousins over thinking that you would want to bring more friends.” Sun Kai said as he walked towards them.
“Congratulations, you all would go into the world and might not even get to see as much again, so we thought doing something like this would help Sun Li keep your memories forever.” he said fluently and the three of them greeted him back in return.
The other members of the family came in groups and greeted them eagerly. Afterwards, they took pictures with her before leading them to the garden where they had set an outdoor table.
Just from how everyone acted towards Sun Li, it wasn’t hard to see that she was the princess of their family.
“Where’s first brother? He asked me to bring a girl home for him and now he’s nowhere to be found?” Sun Li pulled her third brother aside and asked. They had been here for close to thirty minutes now but there was no sign of him anywhere.
“He had an emergency at work but he called to say that he was on the way back now.” Sun Fan told her. Now that all of them knew their brother’s intentions towards Rong Yue, they were all worried he wouldn’t be here soon enough.
As for Sun Li, she knew her brother’s intention towards Rong Yue and while it felt weird to know that her brother liked someone that he was about ten years older, she had seen a lot of things like that happen in her circle.
Also, she liked the thought of Rong Yue being her sister in law!
