Prestige Grinding : I Can Reset My Level-Chapter 186 - 183 : Hiyoko’s Fan Club
Sora stood at the front of the classroom, staring at the twenty young adults sitting neatly behind desks arranged in successive rows. The classroom was spacious, clean and everything looked brand new.
Each student sat attentively, some with notebooks and pens, others with tablets. Their eyes showed excitement and he could almost feel the anticipation from their gazes.
Kara stood beside him, a wide smile plastered on her face. She gestured toward Sora, her voice excited as she addressed the class.
"Everyone," she began, her tone carrying a hint of encouragement. "Allow me to introduce your instructor for Mana Theory: Ralph Eden. He's not just an extremely experienced player; he's also someone who has mastered mana and energy manipulation to a level few in this world have achieved. He will guide you through your first steps into understanding and wielding mana."
Noticing the lack of reactions, she added, "He's level 180, for those who are wondering..."
The class erupted in cheers as students exchanged glances. Kara turned to Sora, giving him a reassuring pat on the shoulder.
"Take it from here," she said, before she left the room without another word.
Sora stood frozen, his mouth slightly agape as her words sank in.
'Is this what hell looks and feels like?' He thought, feeling trapped and helpless.
Feeling the joy at his misfortune that she failed to hide, Sora sent her a telepathic message, 'I'll make you pay for this...'
'Guide them? Master of mana? Seriously?!' he thought. 'I didn't agree to this! I was touring the world just hours ago! Now, suddenly, she's opened a school and decided I'd become a teacher?'
He rubbed his temple, trying to collect his thoughts. He scanned the students, taking a moment to observe each of them. Their expressions ranged from awe to curiosity, with some already scribbling notes despite him not having said anything.
The students were diverse, their appearances reflecting a wide range backgrounds. Sora noted the differences in their clothing, and even the way they carried themselves.
'They've come from all over the world to be here, it seems... How did Kara find the time to gather them all, and how did she choose them? There are teenagers who look quite poor, others who are visibly from wealthy families. However, no one seems older than twenty years old.'
His gaze stopped suddenly on one particular student—a girl sitting near the middle of the classroom. Her face looked familiar, but it took a moment for him to remember her.
'That's her…' he realized, his eyes narrowing slightly in recognition. 'The little girl from the Adventurer's Guild in Seoul. The one who sold information and quest details. She seems to be the youngest here...'
The girl noticed his gaze and gave a small, shy wave. Sora could see the recognition in her eyes as well, though she didn't say anything. Instead, she straightened herself, her posture showing she was ready for the class to start.
Noticing the boy who had introduced him to several classes and recommended the [Mana Amplifier] class, and another teenager he had met in Cordoba, he smiled.
'Did she find them because I mentioned them in the past?' He thought, trying to understand how Kara found these people.
He let out a long, quiet sigh, resigning himself to the role Kara had thrown at him. Turning to the students, he cleared his throat and spoke.
"Alright," he began. "I guess I don't have a choice. I'll be your teacher from now on..." Seeing the puzzlement on some faces, he quickly continued, "First, tell me what you know about mana."

A week later.
Sora and Kara sat together in the teacher's lounge. Sora leaned back in his chair, thinking. He glanced at Kara, who still seemed happy, sipping tea and flipping through her notes.
After a moment of hesitation, he spoke. "Kara, isn't it… the wrong timing to open a school? With the way the world is now, with how difficult things are for humans... It doesn't seem like the right time or place to teach hundreds of kids with our methods."
Kara looked up at him. She smiled faintly. "Sora, there's never a perfect time to create something like this. If we waited for the world to calm down, how long would we be waiting for? The world has been chaotic for years and most regions in the world are at war. What matters is that we're here, and we'll protect this place and everyone in it."

Sora shook his head, "But you've heard what Kim told us earlier. He said that at this rate, we'll lose half of the Kingdom in six months and will probably lose the war in the next two years. Do we really have the time to nurture these teenagers in such environment?"
She answered, "For me, time is never an issue. If we need more time to help these students grow, I have a way to make it happen."
Her words caught him off guard. "Are you really willing to reveal your innate ability like that?" he asked, his doubt clear.
Kara shook her head. "Of course not. I won't show it to everyone. We'll need your ability to alter reality, your metamorphosis skills, and a few other tricks to make it believable that I don't have any special time manipulation. And it wouldn't hurt to put contracts in place to keep any… unruly students in check."
Sora raised an eyebrow, his mind immediately going to darker possibilities. "What would you do if… a Hannah or a Rachel rose among the kids?"
Her eyes turned cold. "Then we'll take responsibility for our students. And we'll take drastic measures if it comes to that."
Sora nodded slowly, aware that Kara, while kind to most people, could be ruthless when necessary. He thought of the burden she was ready to carry and decided that he would help shoulder it.
'I'm a teacher here, too...' he thought.
Breaking the silence, Sora asked, "Why are all the students so young? Why not recruit older people, veterans, or just… players with more experience in general?"
Kara's ears started reddening. "Do you want to take a disciple from the students?"
Sora blinked, confused at the change of topics. "What? Why would I do that?" he asked.
Kara chuckled . "I've always dreamed of having my own disciple. Teaching others has always been something I wanted to do when I grew up. And when I started the school, I chose to focus on students between fourteen and twenty because…" She hesitated for a moment before continuing in a voice he could barely hear. "I didn't have the courage to hear someone older than me call me 'teacher.' Besides…"
Her gaze turned distant. "I wanted to find my own disciple among them. How could I have a disciple older than me? That'd be such a shame."
Sora stared at her, before letting out a soft laugh. "You're so childish..."
Kara grinned. "Look who's talking..."
'I shouldn't remind her that she's already older than most people already...' he thought, almost tempted to tease her.
-----------------------------------------
I stood in the front row of the classroom.
Master said that I was very young and needed to follow proper teaching from the very beginning and these classes would help me understand the basics and humans a little more.
Master is mighty and has always been right, so I was more than happy to follow his guidance.
Big Sister Hiyoko, however, threw a tantrum after the first few classes, complaining she already knew everything and was bored. I smiled, remembering, how she looked when disguised as a human teenager.
She had long, multicolored, hair and big round eyes. She was quite short, and one could read her mood from her facial expressions.
'Big sister should start paying attention to her image. She has a fan club now, after all.'
I thought of the group of students who had looked shocked as we entered the class during the second day of school.
Master said we looked extremely eye-catching, and should tweak our appearances to look a little less otherworldly. I complied, but Hiyoko refused...
I could hear them in the back of the classroom, chatting and discussing how beautiful she was, and shook my head.
'They should really pay attention to class, instead of chatting. The opportunity to learn from Master is priceless... But they seem so clueless.'
"Today is the last day before the first major exam. Remember that all students getting a B or better will be allowed to unlock Mana. They'll also be moved from the newbie section of the school to the apprentice section." Master said to everyone in the class as the class ended.

I ignored the other students reactions, and followed them back to the dormitory.
'Master wants to find the rotten apples among the students, so we don't let them infiltrate the school... I'll need to work hard during the exam to find out everything Master and Kara don't notice.'
The next day, I entered the gymnasium with everyone else. The place was buzzing with anticipation as our group and the other nine classes all walked in. I kept my head low, blending in with the other students.
As soon as we reached the center of the gymnasium, the surroundings changed. One moment, we were inside a plain, quiet gym, and the next, we were in a dense forest. The transformation was magical, every detail so vivid it felt real.
'Master's illusions have become perfect...'
