Shen Yuan looked at the broken corpse of Mo Yanhui for a second before heaving a sigh, "The least I can do is give him a proper burial."

He started digging the ground on the side and placed Yanhui's body inside it. Afterward, he filled up the ground and placed a stone on top of it.

[Thunder Cloud Sect: Mo Yanhui (A Brave Warrior)]

He wrote on the tombstone with his sword.

"That's good enough, now time to fish on the other side." He said with a smile and looked at the exit.

[You don't want to check this cave first? There might be treasures here as well?]

Shen Yuan shook his head, "No one will enter this cave now, but someone might steal the treasures from the previous cave. Can't let that happen, you know?"

[Hmm…true.]

Meanwhile, Xueyan happily ran towards him after everything had calmed down. He hadn't brought her because he had been suspicious of Thunder Cloud Sect.

He had been suspicious of them ever since the last time he had fought with a disciple of their sect.

"My feeling back then was correct. But how long have they been colluding with Abyssal beings?" he wondered while walking back towards the exit.

[You need to be careful in the future, Shen Yuan. Yanhui might have hesitated in summoning an Abyssal being, but others might not. They could even secretly summon one before coming to fight you.]

He nodded his head, "I know, I won't let them know that I know about them. But why didn't they use the tokens to leave the cave? I'm sure all of them would have survived instead of dying like this."

[Who knows, they might have lost their tokens or someone collected them for a plan. Yanhui's Dao Companion might be going there to give them her token as well.]

Shen Yuan thought about it but soon shook his head; it was all beyond him and there were more pressing matters to deal with.

Soon, he exited and entered the previous cave from where he had brought out the beasts.

"Senior Brother Liang, you are really a genius. Who would have thought that just by coming out to check, we would find this entire cave empty? Only someone like you can think of this." one disciple flattered Liang Hui, who walked at the front looking everywhere for details.

"Stop chattering and focus ahead, look for any sign of abnormality. We will run out at the first instance of trouble." he cautiously said.

The other three disciples quietly nodded their heads and continued walking.

After walking for some time, they came in front of a huge stone door, with weird patterns of trees, flowers, and greenery.

"What is this?" one of the disciples asked.

Liang Hui walked forward and placed his hand on top of it; the gate didn't react and stood still.

"Hmm…" He curiously traced his fingers along the engravings before pushing it with force. "Ugh!" his face turned red yet the gate didn't move at all.

"Haa… we will need to do something else to open this gate." Liang Hui said after seeing that the gate wasn't opening.

Shen Yuan had snuck back inside the cave and was hiding at one corner while camouflaging his body with Spatial Intent.

'Looks like that gate leads to the core.' he inwardly said.

[But the gate is locked, I doubt you can open it with brute strength.]

She lazily said, clearly knowing something about the gate.

'Of course I won't be able to unlock something at the core of World Raiser Mystique Realm. Only someone at the peak of this world can do this.' He shook his head at her attempt to rile him up.

[Oh, looks like you will be able to enter after all.]

Her voice suddenly shifted tone and turned amused.

Shen Yuan thought for a second before looking at the other side, 'Wuji… so those guys found the key. It might have been in another cave.'

[Yes, and looks like they have good providence to be able to find this key.]

Shen Yuan intently focused ahead, wondering whether Bai Wuji and Liang Hui would join hands or try to kill each other here.

"Ahh why the hell is this damn gate not opening?!" Liang Hui shouted in frustration. By this point, they had tried everything they could, from using their arrays to attacking the gates.

But nothing had worked as the gate seemed to be made out of some indestructible metal. And just as they were about to give up, sounds of footsteps came from behind them.

There, four swordsmen stood, each exuding an aura of pride and righteousness.

"Brother Wuji, I didn't expect you to come here as well." Liang Hui quickly changed his face and greeted him enthusiastically.

Mo Wuji glanced at the metal door for a bit before shifting his gaze to Liang Hui, "Brother Hui, I wasn't expecting you to be here as well. Didn't you enter the other cave?"

Liang Hui shook his head with evident pity, "It's a shame the previous cave was empty, so we were about to leave before we remembered that no one had entered this cave. So we decided to enter here."

"Brother Liang, I'm sure you know very well why no one entered this cave. Mind explaining how you dealt with those beasts?" Mo Wuji looked at Liang Hui with a calm gaze.

Liang Hui's forehead started to sweat as he was really not a match for Mo Wuji in a one-on-one fight. "Haha, Brother Liang need not worry so much. When we came here, the cave was already empty. Even we don't know what happened to those Life Beasts."

Mo Wuji continued to stare at Liang Hui, but after determining that he was not lying, he shifted his gaze back to the stone gate, "Looks like this is the core of this area."

Liang Hui's eyes sharpened, "Indeed, Brother Wuji, we even laid down a large formation in this place, but we still couldn't destroy this gate. All of our efforts were in vain."

The three disciples surrounding Mo Wuji looked startled as they assessed their surroundings again. Mo Wuji glanced around and realized that he was not lying. And they were already in the attack range of the formation.

"Good one, Brother Liang. Looks like you are really one of the peak disciples of the Mystique Array Sect. To deploy a formation so skillfully and at such ease—only you people can do that."

Liang Hui modestly shook his head, "I alone wouldn't have been able to do that. All of that was only possible due to the support of my dear junior brothers."

Mo Wuji glanced behind him and saw the three disciples holding array plates, ready to attack at a moment's notice.

"There is no need for that, we have the key to the stone door behind you." Mo Wuji suddenly said, not wanting to sustain unnecessary losses before even determining what was behind the gate.

Liang Hui's facial expression changed as he quickly asked, "Is that true? Brother Wuji, you are not lying to me, right?"

Mo Wuji who was walking towards the gate, glanced at him from the corner of his eyes, "And why will I do that?"
