'Oh boy, someone is jealous of what happened inside.' Nora thought. Her spine stiffened. She remembered his look when she had finished with Talan, and in the on the way out of the building she had lost herself with Kadir and Liem. She made him watch.

"His dowry, make Hudai pay, shame them with Kai's and Kadir's if need be, and it would be best if it included property, Liem. You know what to do right?" Nora said. She did not feel bad bilking someone like Lara Hudai out of money. She had plenty. "And spend some time with your children. I swear you will be sleeping in another room if you have left it all to Cerez or Janel." Nora threatened. She needed capital to expand her work on figuring out the turn off the gene that is causing her to secrete so much. Tonight was another wake-up call. It seemingly worsened. She noticed the looks and the tented pants. It was abnormal. Cerez was against her altering her and the children any further.

"She will be quite tired. Do not bother us. Just leave a cart with food outside the door." Kai said. Nora dryly swallowed, her face flushing crimson. He walked down the hall quickly to the separate room. The sound of her gasp and ripping fabric was heard before the sound proof door closed to the room. Cerez came out of the nursery with a tired look on his face and walked past the door. He stopped and looked at Kadir and then smiled at him.

"You look like you had some fun." Cerez said. He could smell her on him. "I am assuming it went well?" Cerez said as he walked through the door to the pantry and opened a refrigeration unit. He pulled three bottles of Iced Tea out and shut the door. He returned to the main room to see Liem already working.

"Talan is on board, he is unsure about being part of the Bind, because of his past. But anywhere is better than Hudai." Kadir said. "I think it was the first time I heard him speak with emotion in a long time." Kadir said. Cerez handed him a cold bottle of iced tea, and he twisted the cap off. "Liem, here?" Kadir said. He handed him the bottle. Cerez handed him a second with a smile. Consideration of each other was key. Kadir opened the bottle in his hands and drank the contents.

"I cannot believe she agreed so easily, it was like she was waiting for me. She will let us set the terms for his dowry. Nora is going to be thrilled. Anyone need funding?" Liem said. He swigged from the bottle, satisfied. It was a win when things were this easy. Lara Hudai would regret letting go of Talan's reins, because once he was out of her control, he was going to be her and the matriarch's society at large's worst enemy. He even frightened Liem. He would need Janel's help to help with his emotional issues. Talan would be grateful in the end. Nora had principles that would lead her to never cross the line with Talan, that Talan would not let her cross.
