[Location: The central market of Coast City]

A dark spot in the sky was visible from the center of the city. The spot was slowly expanding at a slow speed, making the natives anxious and the ’guests’ of the city vigilant. Everybody grew tense before slowly starting follow their own plan for this war.

And as everyone was running around the central market with haste, there was a single lady standing at the center of the market.

Dark brown hair that reached down to her waist, and mud-yellow eyes that matched well with the geo elemental magic that she was familiar with. Wearing a red coloured outfit that exposed most of her body, she stood there observing the dark black spot in the sky outside the city.

"Guess, that must be the signal," she, Aisha, reminded herself as she slowly moved her hands in the air, her bangles making clicking noises among the crowd of the people that took a peek at her before continuing to their own work.

"First step," she mumbled as she began her dance," and second," as she moved forward.

And the sound of an instrument being played reverberated through the air.

"Third step," she mumbled in a low tone as she moved as she was instructed. Beautifully, elegantly.

~Music~

The music slowly began rhyming with her steps, and she stopped counting her steps and began dancing freely in the central street, which was slowly opening up, clearing a passage for her to dance.

As if entranced, everyone slowed down a bit, observing her dance as the music slowly fondled everyone’s mind, calming them slowly, making them somewhat more collected than before.

~Music~

The dance increased in pace, so did the tune of the music, echoing through the cities and outside, affecting every mortal that was present in that place. And as Aisha moved her body, she started connecting with the land of the city, the sands of the beach, and the rocks outside the city.

While it should have been impossible for her to connect and control all that mana within the land, somehow it wasn’t. It was as if the mana itself was connecting with her, protecting her, cuddling her. Slowly becoming one with her, making her reach a new peak in that magic.

And then, after she reached in a trance state with both her dance as well as the mana around the city, she slowly mumbled in low but audible voice,

"[Combination Magic: Undying Rhythm!]"

The mana… it exploded around. Everyone’s mana present within the city increased, making them much stronger than before.

And Aisha… she danced with a smile on her face as the effects began unfolding exactly as Adam predicted.

~Music~

"Hey! Activate it! The dance has begun!" The children shouted as they all poured their mana activating the arrays which Neptune had given them previously.

At first it was just one, and then another, then 3 more, and within the next few seconds about 64 symmetrical arrays were activated throughout the city, channeling mana of the city, guiding it all towards the central market area where Aisha was dancing.

The mana drizzled. There were rocks revolving around the city, and winds that blew at irregular speed. Water droplets drizzled everywhere in the city, slowly connecting with each other and then separating again.

"Sparkly!"

"Beautiful!"

"Wow!"

The children were entranced by the magic show, at a level that even the grand imperial mages would fail to deliver.

And the tune that calmed the hearts of children, as they laughed and ran through the alley way, slowly collecting in various locations as they were instructed, then separating again, and then moving to another location, as if they were playing a game of sorts.

Their laughter echoed through the city as joy filled all around it. Seemingly creating a merry environment, a contrast to the city which was at the brisk of war.

"Run! We need to guard them all! Leave no stone unturned! Find everyone! Protect everyone!"

As the children laughed, the guards shouted, preparing to protect the city, its children, its peoples and everyone that they could protect.

~Music~

Their mental state was at peak. No more there was the panic that made them restless, no more was there the feeling of impending doom.

They felt as if they could hold against the gods, the demons and everything else. And somehow even still come out unscathed.

And Mana… it loved them. Somehow, they felt like they could exude an infinite mount of mana today. And no matter how much they would use, they would never run out of it.

It was scary.

But the fact that they could hope to protect this city by their own two hands was something far more important to them.

"Captain! All platoons have been stationed at their designated locations!" One of men shouted as he reached Geralt, and Geralt nodded at him answering,

"Good! Now we wait for the demons to come to us and get slaughtered. Let me see how they dare stand against us today."

A sinister smile appeared on Geralt’s face as he looked at the expanding dark spot in the sky outside the city. Perhaps things may really end the way that Adam has guided them to.

[Location: Near the Port of the Coast City]

"Those who want to escape the city take these ships! We will be leaving in 20 minutes!" The Saintess shouted as she looked at the increasing number of people who were running towards the port area.

Though the number of ships was enough to carry them all.

She was amazed as she looked at all the ships that Neptune had prepared, making her wonder what exactly his background was.

But then again, helping the people escape from here was the priority. She can take her time analyzing the events after the war is over.

[Location: At the highest point of the central tower of the city!]

A lone man, dressed in blue, stood at the tallest tower of the city, analyzing all the events around him by reading the flowing mana of the city.

In his hand was an instrument of music, which he played as he connected himself to the city’s mana. And then slowly enchanted the entire population, erasing their worries and removing their concerns.

"Charm Magic: A Dance to remember," Neptune(Adam) mumbled as he continued playing the same music as before, slowly shifting the mindset of the people in the direction he wanted it to be.

And this time… everything was going to be perfect.
