Realm of Infinity-Chapter 109: Reincarnation
"The terror of the Chaos Temple is gone," Noah’s voice echoed, transmitted by the laws.
"From now on, this universe has only one true ruler: the Earth Empire. But do not tremble. There will be no more shortages of resources. You will not have to bleed for a scrap of mana or a plot of fertile land. You can live in peace."
He paused.
His eyes swept over the kneeling masses in the arena, though he was really looking at the countless souls watching from the stars.
"However, peace is not stagnation. Every ten years, there will be a Mega Tournament of the Universe. Every race, every clan, and every lone wanderer can join."
"The winners will bring glory and special rewards to their people. Prove your worth through strength, not through slaughter."
As the crowd erupted into a deafening roar of approval, Noah turned his back to the cameras.
His face, which had been a mask of divine boredom, suddenly shifted.
The weight of Lumina’s warning, the "puny" nature of his current godhood, pressed down on him.
He had 100 years before he would have to enter the realm of infinity.
"I need to talk to you all," Noah said, his voice dropping into a register that made his Generals stiffen.
"Come with me."
The joy evaporated from the faces of William, Rudi, and the others.
They knew that look.
It was the look Noah wore when the world was about to change.
With a flick of his wrist, Noah and his closest subordinates vanished from the arena.
They reappeared in a private room in the palace.
With a thought, a grand throne of white marble and gold rose from the floor for himself.
A slightly smaller, elegant throne appeared beside it for Liara.
Simple but comfortable seats materialized for his Generals.
"Noah, why do you look so serious?" Liara asked, her voice trembling slightly.
She sat on the throne, but her hands were gripped tightly in her lap.
"The war is over. We won."
"Yes, Boss!" Rudi added, trying to crack a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
"What’s the move? Are we colonizing the void sectors? Or are we just going to party for the next decade?"
Noah looked at them.
He took a deep breath and told them everything.
He told them about the white room.
The spirit Lumina.
The chilling truth that his current power was a hollow shell compared to the "True Realm."
He told them about the Realm of Infinity being a prison.
And the Great Apocalypse that was fast approaching.
"So," Noah concluded, his voice steady despite the gravity of his words,
"I am going to enter the cycle of reincarnation."
"I have to discard everything I’ve built here to build a foundation that won’t crack under the weight of eternity."
"I’ll try to return in one hundred years. But there is a risk." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
"I don’t know where I’ll be born."
"I don’t know if I’ll remember you immediately."
The silence that followed was heavy enough to crush a planet.
Liara felt as if her heart were being pierced by a thousand needles.
The man she had just confessed to.
The man she had finally dared to hope for a future with.
He was telling her he was going to die, voluntarily.
Tears began to track down her flushed cheeks.
Noah stood up.
He walked to her and gently wiped the tears away.
"It’s only a hundred years, Liara," he said softly.
"In the grand scheme of our lives, it’s a nap."
"I promise I’ll return, and when I do, we won’t just have a wedding."
"We’ll have a multiversal marriage ceremony that will be remembered until the end of time."
Liara didn’t care about ceremonies.
She lunged forward, hugging him with a desperation that threatened to break his robes.
"Promise me," she sobbed into his chest.
"Promise me you’ll come back safe."
"Don’t leave me alone in a universe that only knows how to follow you."
"I promise," Noah whispered.
Leaving his subordinates to begin the logistical nightmare of managing a leaderless empire, Noah went to his parents’ quarters.
The conversation was even harder.
Naomi and Martha wept openly.
To them, Noah wasn’t the "Sovereign of Destruction."
He was the boy who had grown up too fast.
"Dad, help me out here," Noah said.
He looked at Eric, who was standing by the window with his back turned to the room.
Eric turned around.
For the first time, Noah saw a single tear track through the dust on his father’s face.
"Humph! That’s what you get for abandoning your family for another hundred years."
"You deal with them yourself."
Eric stepped forward and gripped Noah’s shoulder with a strength that surprised him.
"But listen to me, son."
"If there is a single real chance of you dying for good, don’t do it."
"You don’t need to bear the fate of every creature in existence."
"You have the right to a happy life, too."
Noah smiled wryly.
"I’m doing this so we can have a happy life, Dad."
"If I stay like this, the Great Apocalypse takes everything."
"I’d rather gamble on a new life than lose the ones I love in this one."
Once the goodbyes were said, the hardest part of any conquest, Noah retreated to a private chamber.
He closed his eyes.
"Lumina, I am ready. Let’s talk," he muttered.
In an instant, the world of color and sorrow vanished.
He was back in the infinite whiteness of the Throne Room.
Lumina stood there, her eyes shining with the light of ancient galaxies.
"Good," she said.
"You didn’t waste time with useless moping."
"You want power, and you want it fast."
"To become the True Ruler in a hundred years, you cannot stay in this shallow pond of a universe."
"You said you’d help," Noah reminded her.
"I have my Creation talent. That should be enough to jumpstart any new life."
Lumina shook her head, a small, knowing smile on her lips.
"Your talent is a cheat in this world, yes."
"But it has two flaws that would kill you in the higher realms."
"First, the mana problem."
"You cannot create what you cannot fuel."
"Second, the level cap."
"You cannot create anything that exceeds your own cultivation level."
"In the Realm of Infinity, you were a big fish because the pond was small."
"In the world I am sending you to, you would be a snack."
Noah narrowed his eyes.
"So, what’s the upgrade?"
"I will merge your Creation talent with the essence of the Throne of Eternity," Lumina explained.
"I will give you a tool."
"A System."
"Its function is simple but absolute."
"The 10,000 Times Return."
Noah perked up.
"Explain."
"Anything you give to your subordinates, be it a weapon, a pill, a technique, or even raw energy, will return to you 10,000 fold."
"It will either increase in quantity or be upgraded by levels in quality."
"If you give a soldier a God tier sword, you might receive 10,000 God tier swords back."
"Or perhaps a single blade that can cleave through reality itself."
"You will never have to worry about resources again."
"You will grow by lifting others up."
Noah whistled softly.
"That’s actually broken."
"I like it."
"And where am I going?"
"The Ancient World of Limitless Boundaries," Lumina said.
Her voice turned solemn.
"It is a world where space is infinite and the laws of physics are merely suggestions."
"There are sects there that have existed since before your universe was born."
"Ancient families that treat gods like house servants."
"It is a world sealed away, feared even by the Eternal beings.."
"Time there moves 10,000 times faster than it does here."
Noah did the math.
"So, a hundred years here is a literal eternity there."
"Correct."
"You will have more than enough time to grow."
"You will be reborn into an Ancient Family."
"Which one depends on your luck."
"Your goal is simple."
"Conquer that world."
"Become its undisputed peak."
"Only then can you return, destroy the Realm of Infinity prison, and take your seat on the Throne."
Noah looked at the massive, majestic chair behind her.
"And what then?"
"Why do I even need the throne if I’m already the strongest?"
"Because," Lumina said, her eyes darkening,
"there are things outside the multiverse."
"Horrors that view Infinity as a small box."
"Once you sit on the Throne, all of creation merges with you."
"You won’t just be a ruler."
"You will be the Law."
"You will be the only thing standing between your family and the Final Bosses of the Void."
Noah squared his shoulders.
The puny feeling was gone.
In its place was cold, sharp ambition.
He wasn’t just doing this to survive.
He was doing it to make sure no one could ever threaten his peace again.
"Very well," Noah said, a predatory smile returning to his face.
"Let’s begin the reincarnation."
Lumina raised her hand.
The white room began to spin.
"Good luck, Noah."
"Don’t die in the cradle."
"It would be very embarrassing for the both of us."
