"Such a precious elixir actually exists..?!" Zinnia gasped.

Zinnia had heard about elixirs before; however, this was her first time actually seeing one. And, she was not alone. Many of the players present had never seen an elixir before today.

"An elixir that grants three permanent stat increases that are suitable for any magic class—each one is worth at least tens of millions of gold coins. No, perhaps even that is a reserved estimate. After all, it grants permanent magic power and magical resistance. The mana it gives is also not too bad, but there are many items that can improve mana recovery so it’s not too impressive." Valkyria commented.

Valkyria had brought 72 members of the Lotus Guard along with her. Including Zinnia and the other members of her Sleeping Gardenia in Kifa Karsts, they obtained well over 100 elixirs!

"Everyone, listen carefully! My Sleeping Gardenia is never one to take advantage of others! Since you’ve earned this elixir, naturally, we will not take it away from you! If you are a magic class and wish to consume it directly, I will not stop you! However, for those of you who do not want to consume it or have no use for it, I can guarantee you that our guild will offer you a fair price to purchase it! The same goes for the item you receive from your treasure chest!" Valkyria announced.

The members of the Lotus Guard were different. Since the guild provided everything for them, everything they obtained while on missions for the guild were managed by the guild. However, it was different for Zinnia and those in Kifa Karsts.

When Zinnia heard Valkyria’s words, a wisp of relief left her as a smile could not help but find its way to her face.

"Thank you, Commander Valkyria." Zinnia said as she expressed her gratitude.

It was well known that Sleeping Gardenia was one of the top guilds that offered above average benefits to its members. That being said, elixirs were precious treasures. Before so many of them, it would be difficult for any top guild not to express their greed.

Perhaps for the core members like Lotus Guard a single elixir could be overlooked and handed off. But, for the players who put in effort every day to obtain resources for the guild, to obtain not only an elixir but also a rare item treasure chest—it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Valkyria nodded, "Your thanks is unnecessary. The guild leader has made it very clear. Even if we find advantages, we will never do so by suppressing our own people. Rest assured, section leader Zinnia. A matter this large will be overseen by Advisor He Huian personally. She is ruthless when it comes to making deals with others, but not with our own guild members."

While the resources they procured in Kifa Karsts were for the guild, the elixir was something earned by their own efforts. If Valkyria were to demand that they hand it over, would any of their guild members ever speak up in the future when they find something good?

...

Several minutes later...

It did not take long for things to settle down in Kifa Karsts. Since all of the stronger individuals had been wiped out by either Izroth or the Lotus Guard, there was no fear for any kind of immediate retaliation. Besides, even if the other top guilds wanted to retaliate against Sleeping Gardenia, they had no way of overwhelming Valkyria and the Lotus Guard.

At Valkyria’s command, Zinnia had gone back to oversee the ore cave. While there, she was also instructed to pass on her offer to purchase the elixir to the players under her leadership in Kifa Karsts.

As for the Lotus Guard, Valkyria sent a portion of them to reinforce the safety of the ore cave while the others would follow her back to their original post. Even though they managed to suppress the enemy forces, there was no guarantee that they would not secretly gather power and send outside reinforcements to retaliate.

At the moment, the only players remaining around the Ancient Karsts Spring was Izroth, Valkyria, and some of the Lotus Guard who backed off into the distance to keep watch. After all, they were still technically in Blue Oasis territory.

"What will you do now, Palace Master Izroth?" Valkyria inquired.

"I have a prior engagement that requires my attention. Once I’m done with that, I will head to Danaharpe to meet up with my division. What will you do now, Commander Valkyria? The other top guilds are sure to protest your actions today." Izroth replied with a carefree smile.

"I will leave half of the Lotus Guard here and return to my post with the other half. Sense the matter of an ore cave is huge, the situation will be unstable for a while until we make certain fortifications. But, if I am being completely honest, the ore cave this time around is too good. Not only is it large in size and abundant in resources, it also contains high quality booster ores. The others may not move immediately, but they will undoubtedly covet what belongs to our Sleeping Gardenia. Otherwise, how could I be willing to leave so many of the Lotus Guard members here to forsake their place in the event?" Valkyria sighed.

One could take a temporary leave of absence from their station in the ongoing event; however, if they did not eventually return and carry out their minimum required orders, they would suffer penalties. At best, they would be kicked out of their war branch and lose out on many future opportunities.

"This problem—I may have a way of helping Commander Valkyria protect the ore cave without having to leave behind the members of her Lotus Guard in the long term. It will require a substantial amount of resources to build and activate; however, I will most cover the building portion. I can also promise you that even if the other top guilds worked together in an attempt to seize the ore cave, it can only end in failure." Izroth stated nonchalantly.

Valkyria’s brows rose in surprise as she said, "If Palace Master Izroth has a way that can be solved with a few resources, I am sure the guild leader would happily approve. Also, I appreciate Palace Master Izroth’s good will, but I fear that the guild leader will scold me if I were to take advantage of your generosity. How about we do it this way—Palace Master Izroth can cover most of the building cost and my Sleeping Gardenia will cover any activation costs. In return, we will allocate 10%- no, 20% of the resources we obtain from the ore cave to the Mystical Realm Palace."

’Oh? Seeing the actions of those under her leadership, it would seem that guild leader Mariposa has taken by words to heart.’

Izroth once told Mariposa what he sought was not temporary partnerships or things held together by a contract, but rather a true ally. One that would be there at the lowest and highest of moments. An ally that would never aim to seek only benefits and advantages, but prioritized the connection and loyalty of the relationship itself.

That’s because Izroth treated his allies as if they were his own people. If one bullied them, then it was no different than trying to bully him. If he thrived, then those around him would also gain numerous benefits.

Based on Valkyria’s actions and words, Mariposa had not disappointed Izroth.

"Then, we will do it the way you suggested. Since I have some a previous arrangement to take care of, this is a matter that will have to be delayed by a day or two. In the meantime, you can send someone to gather these resources that will be required for its activation—the more the better." Izroth said as he messaged a list of resources over to Valkyria.

Valkyria took a moment to look over the resource list Izroth sent her. Most of the materials were superior-ranked; however, the part that shocked her more than anything was that the resource list included 64 swords that had to be at least rare quality!

"The most important thing on the list are the 64 swords. The higher the level and the better the quality, the stronger the protection that can be provided. I recommend nothing below level 50. If possible, level 60 or higher would be ideal." Izroth clarified.

"This... I can see why Palace Master Izroth said that the cost would be substantial." Valkyria said with furrowed brows.

Level 50 rare weapons were not impossible to obtain. However, to acquire 64 level 50 rare weapons that were all the same type was a bit trickier. As for rare weapons that were level 60 or higher, they were still being used by most top guild elite or core members as their main weapon. How could they afford to gather 64 of them? "If Palace Master Izroth doesn’t mind me asking, what do you plan on doing with these swords?" Valkyria asked curiously.

It couldn’t be that he was planning on putting together small army, right?

"I plan on setting up a magic formation." Izroth answered in a carefree manner.
