Reawakening: SSS-Rank Villain's POV-Chapter 119: The Entrance Test!
The principal's speech caused the crowd to start discussing in whispers.
"How did Lucian get so much attention? It's not fair!"
"I've heard that Lucian has special privileges because of his martyred parents. He's actually weak."
"This seems to be true. It's news from the archives. It seems that he doesn't deserve such special privileges."
"That's right. He's probably weak, and he doesn't deserve it at all. Sooner or later, I'll find an opportunity to challenge him and let him know who's the boss!"
"I've also heard Lucian was recruited without taking the exam. He didn't pass the entrance exam, and that video was synthesized."
"Hehe, I knew it. How could a freshman have such terrifying destructive power?"
Almost everyone was sure that Lucian's strength was faked and fabricated. But there was no need for Lucian to correct them.

Soon, the principal's speech ended. The instructor then stood out and faced the freshmen.
"Everyone, let us carry out the most important and crucial part of the new students' admission ceremony, the sorting ceremony!"
The freshmen ceremony had reached the most crucial part, the sorting ceremony.
"To determine if you're worthy of being admitted into the academy, you will have to prove your worth in the Godslayer Secret Dimension! Those with the highest number of kill points will become number one. Theres no limit on how you earn your kill points and yes, you can steal also. The time limit is three days."
The Dean stared at the nervous student and smiled. "Don't worry, this secret realm has been modified to transport you out when your life is hanging by a thread. Just make sure not to be killed instantly and you will transported back and healed by out medical team."
The air crackled with a nervous energy as Dean White finished his explanation. Hearing that the Godslayer Secret Dimension had a safety net, that death wasn't necessarily final if it wasn't instant, brought a small measure of relief to the gathered freshmen.
But the mention of kill points, the ability to steal them, and the competitive nature of this three-day trial quickly replaced relief with apprehension and they were instantly on guard.
This wasn't just about killing monsters, it was also about stealing from fellow students. No wonder they said this academy was really dangerous but they accepted anyone regardless of talents which was why there were about a thousand students here.
Dean White surveyed the students, his eyes lingering on the mix of fear and determination
on their young faces. He then explained the structure of the danger within the realm. "The outer edges, where you'll initially land, are relatively safe. But the further you venture, the greater the danger. Five kilometers deep, you'll start encountering beasts around level 5. Push to ten kilometers, and you'll face level 10 monsters. Fifteen kilometers in, expect level 15 creatures." He paused, letting the escalating numbers sink in. "This pattern continues, increasing by five levels for every five kilometers, all the way up to seventy kilometers, where true nightmares reside – level 70 monsters dwell in those depths. I wouldn't advice any of you to go but then, if you kill a level 70 monster, you will directly advance to inner one."
He then offered a thin smile, one that didn't quite reach his eyes. "So, be cautious. Stick to the zones appropriate for your level. We wouldn't want any… permanent accidents." Yet, as he spoke, a flicker of something else flashed thought his eyes, almost like a bloodthirsty excitement.
Lucian, with his heightened perception, caught it immediately. It was the look of someone anticipating a spectacle, perhaps even enjoying the prospect of danger faced by others. It sent a shiver down Lucian's spine and he cousin help but frown.
Just as Lucian was processing this information, Dean White's eyes suddenly snapped towards him.
The principal seemed to sense Lucian's gaze, and his smile widened, becoming sharper, more predatory. It was like a chilling acknowledgment, a silent message passing between them. Without breaking eye contact with Lucian, Dean White raised his voice, addressing all the students. "The portals are ready! Step forth, prove your worth, and may the strongest prevail! Your sorting ceremony begins now!"
The instructors guided the students.
One by one, shimmering gateways of swirling blue and purple energy materialized before the students. Hesitantly at first, then with growing resolve, the freshmen stepped into the portals. Each gateway flared brightly upon entry and then stabilized, ready for the next student. The system was designed to scatter them across the vast outer circle of the Secret Dimension, ensuring that friends or allies couldn't immediately team up. It was a true test of individual strength and survival skills from the very start.
Lorraine's eyes flashed and she was also a bit worried.
Lucian seem to feel her nervousness and comforted her. "Don't worry, as long as you don't go too deep, you will be fine."
He then turned towards Emily. "Make sure not to use too much mana. You also have the necklace, it should help you a lot. Don't push further than you ur abilities and stay below the level 10 region.
Without waiting for them to speak, Lucian walked into the portal, under the gaze of the two beautiful female students. He also felt another lingering gaze in him, it was the Dean.
Lucian felt a familiar tug, a disorienting twist of space, and then solid ground materialized beneath his feet. The air here was different thick with the scent of damp earth, strange alien flora, and the faint, metallic tang of unseen beasts.
He stood in a dense, emerald-green forest. Towering trees with bioluminescent fungi clinging to their bark formed a canopy high above, filtering the unseen light source of this dimension into dappled patterns on the forest floor. Strange, multi-colored birds with sharp beaks flitted between branches, their calls echoing eerily.
He took a quick look around. No other students in sight, he sighed in relief once he realized Lorraine and Emily wasn't wing him. They wouldn't hold him back, and more importantly, he wouldn't have to constantly worry about their safety while pushing his own limits. With his current level of 24, further enhanced by a physique and raw strength that far surpassed even level 60 individuals, the outer zones held little challenge, but they were a necessary starting point. It was time to hunt.
