Chapter 363 - The two lovebirds, looking like they were in love, had very different ideas in mind. (2)

She reflexively stroked her left wrist with her right hand, where there was still a hint where the bracelet was.

Could it be possible that there was another bracelet just like hers in this world?

Fang JunRong didn’t know the answer to that but she detected an odd air. The only thing that she could be certain of was that this was a counterfeit made from glass. As much as they looked similar, she detected no spiritual energy from this one.

She praised it. “It’s really pretty. That pattern looks like mountains. The tall ones that are surrounded by clouds no less.”

“Right? That’s what I think as well.” More and more Wang Ya felt that Fang JunRong and her were very compatible. She was even more enthusiastic when it came to introducing the rest of her collection to Fang JunRong.

Wang Ya went over each and every single piece of her collection with Fang JunRong before she happily went to entertain her other guests.

Fang JunRong stayed until after 11 PM before she departed.

It was late autumn and the breeze was a bit chilly. Fang JunRong put ajacket on to block some of the cold wind.

Halfway to her car, she stopped and looked over at a specific corner.

“What’s the matter?” asked Jian Shao, her bodyguard.

Fang JunRong looked over there for a little while but didn’t see anything. She shook her head. “Nothing. Maybe it was just my imagination.”

She felt that there was someone watching her earlier.

That being said, she had both her bodyguard and turtle Kuaikuai with her. She wasn’t too worried.

She got inside the side and they started heading back after she was seated.

Someone walked out from the dark corner when the limited-edition Bentley could no longer be seen. It was Li ShiZe, who hadn’t appeared for a while.

He looked away. It has been a year and a half and he finally saw his mother again.

His mother did not change a bit in the past two years. She was still her graceful and elegant self. Time seemed to have no effect on her.

She was still the center of attention during the banquet earlier and anything that she said or did would naturally attract other people’s attention.

She had been well and seemingly had completely forgotten that she had a son.

He still dared not show up in front of his mother. He worried that he would see that hatred in her eyes. In the past year and a half, he had repeatedly dreamed about his previous life and he was always in pain when he woke up.

Perhaps he would be able to look for his mother again after he had exerted his revenge on Jiang YaGe.

He dragged his heavy body back into his little apartment as he thought to himself.

Jiang YaGe walked up to him as soon as he went inside. Her voice soft like water. “It’s getting colder. I made some sparerib soup. I am waiting for you to come home so we can have it together”

She acted as though she would not have the soup without Li ShiZe being there. She didn’t have a lot of options. Her year-and-a-half time in jail seemed to have slowed down to a crawl.

She had it rough when she was released and was no longer her old elegant self. She has a criminal record now and has been expelled from school. She couldn’t even find herself a decent job. She ran into Li ShiZe again and he didn’t mind that she had dumped him before and was willing to get back with her.

Li ShiZe was no longer the high-and-mighty young master that he once was. In fact, he was holding down a job as a chauffeur. She would not have picked him if she had any better options but she wasn’t able to find a suitable boyfriend so Li ShiZe was her best option. She was as nice to him as she could. He did, after all, have a house.

Li ShiZe lowered his eyes and his voice was tender. “Thank you. Let’s have it together.” Oh, how happy would he have been if she had cooked for him in the past?
