Chapter 376 - He was even handsomer than he was in the book! (2)

Jiang DeXian finally made his appearance under everyone’s anticipating looks. He had on a well-fitted black suit and a cold look, giving him a noble temperament. His legs, wrapped in his suit pants, well demonstrated the saying “all legs under one’s neck”.

His handsome face made others do a double take. All of a sudden, the frequency of the flashlights went up.

Many people thought of a president as a man over the age of 40. The appearance of a young and handsome president out of the blue would guarantee topicality! For sure it would make it onto the most trending list today!

Many of the reporters were baffled: Why didn’t he want to keep his identity a secret with his looks? Was his intention just for secrecy?

Jiang DeXian walked onto the stage. His clear voice resounded in the entire venue. “I am Jiang DeXian. I am pleased to have you all here at the news conference today.”

Everyone looked at him without blinking. That very moment, he was truly the protagonist of the day.

Fang JunRong’s lips curved upward as she watched him handle the reporters with ease.

Even though many reporters were more curious about his personal life, he was able to change the subject naturally. The ball had always been in his court. The man who had always been by his side showed the world his grace for the first time.

“He’s so handsome!” Fang JunRong turned her head when she heard the exclamation.

She saw Liang AnQi staring at the stage, stunned. Her mouth dropped open so much that an egg could fit inside.

“He is even more handsome than mentioned in the book!”

Book?

Fang JunRong did not miss that. Smiling, she asked Liang AnQi, “What book?”

She couldn't help but recall the book about Jiang YaGe when she first entered the dimension.

Her first thought was that Liang AnQi, too, had read that book. Her speculation, however, was nibbed in the bud as soon as it spouted.

The book on Jiang YaGe only mentioned how herself and Li ShiZe had conquered all obstacles and defeated all male and female cannon fodders and were finally able to be together.

It certainly did not mention Jiang DeXian. She didn’t even know that Jiang DeXian existed beforehand.

Liang AnQi recollected herself and she looked regretful, apparently realizing that she had misspoke. Putting on a docile smile, she said, “It was some fanfiction that I had read online in the past using Boss Jiang as the male lead. I had always wanted to see Boss Jiang ever since then, which was why I asked my aunt to bring me with her today.”

Hearing their conversation, Liang Feng had a doting look on her. “This kid is like that. So gullible. She even believes what she reads online.”

Fang JunRong did not buy a word that she said. That spiel was only sufficient enough to fool an older family member with filters on toward her. Over the last year, as Jiang DeXian had never shown his face, words online spread by the malicious ones were mostly about him being old and ugly. There would not be any books with him as the male lead.

She asked with interest, “What book is this? I would like to read it too. I want to know which author has some foresight.”

Liang AnQi let out an “oh” and said, “I don’t remember off the top of my head. I didn’t save the link. I’ll for sure let Aunty Fang know when I recall it.”

Fang JunRong smiled, stopped chatting with Liang AnQi and looked back over at Jiang DeXian.

Jiang DeXian was mostly talking about a new software that Qixing was going to release next month. Even though their most revenue-generating department was currently their gaming dept but their main focus was still software development. He talked about their new software in a very articulated way and switched the IPO news conference into a new product release news conference.

Fang JunRong couldn't help but smile. Truth was, she didn’t really understand most of what he had said. She was mainly being polite and didn’t space out during his speech.
