Chapter 380 - Liang AnQi. Could it be the same Liang AnQi? (3)

The medias were much more cautious now when it came to writing about Fang JunRong’s romance. She was also very surprised that Jiang DeXian’s competitors did not dwell on his past. She thought about it some and figured out the reason behind it.

Talking about his past would, inevitably, bring her up into the conversation. It was not worthwhile for them to offend her completely just to get to Jiang DeXian.

That was nice. She did not enjoy being the center of attention and having others critiquing her all the time anyway.

She looked around. Jiang DeXian had sold almost 24% of his shares and gained quite a bit of working capital. It looks like he was planning to expand his company.

Fang JunRong didn’t know much about IT. As a complete amateur, she, as the next biggest shareholder after Jiang DeXian, planned to do nothing other than to collect the dividends every year. She would not opine on the strategies of the company.

On the other end, XinYun had become the temporary class lead and was tasked with taking care of the exchange students from overseas.

She didn’t have much choice as the original class lead was injured from falling off of her bicycle. Fracturing will take months to heal and there is no rushing of that. Li XinYun and the girl were close plus she was reputable within their class and so she had taken on the temporary responsibilities in helping the girl out.

Lo and behold, as soon as she had taken over the temporary role, the exchange students happened.

They were exchanging students with a prominent university from overseas and a total of 6 students had come. The counselor assigned her the responsibility partly because Li XinYun’s foreign language was very good and had no problem communicating with English-speakers.

Li XinYun, after meeting with the foreign exchange students, was surprised to see two Asian faces among them. She just wasn’t sure if they were Chinese.

She introduced herself fluently in foreign language and a cute-looking girl introduced herself in a very friendly manner in Chinese, “I am Liang AnQi. You can call me AnQi.”

Liang AnQi gave Li XinYun a very sweet smile and said, “I have an instant fondness toward you. Can we be friends?”

Li XinYun was taken aback a little then, smiling, she said, “Of course we can.”

The lead of the exchange student team was also Chinese. He grew up overseas and his Chinese name was Fan WenBai.

Li XinYun exchanged her contact information with them and took them on a tour of the campus. Liang AnQi was very affectionate toward her the entire time but Li XinYun felt that she had ulterior motives.

Besides, she was very mysterious. Liang AnQi grew up overseas just like Fan WenBai and was attending a prominent university. Her foreign language should be very fluent. Nevertheless, when Li XinYun spoke in foreign language specifically for the exchange students, Liang AnQi seemed to have trouble following.

Specifically, Liang AnQi looked completely lost when they talked about academic subjects.

Was that the level of a prominent university overseas?

Baffled, Li XinYun couldn't help but gripe about it to her mother when she got home.

Fang JunRong couldn't help but raise her brows when she heard the name Liang AnQi. Could it be the same Liang AnQi?

When she saw the group photos that XinYun had pulled up. Yup, that was her alright.

She had doubts about Liang AnQi’s identity previously and, now, listening to everything that XinYun had told her – how her foreign language was subpar and had a lack of technical knowledge in her area – all of them confirmed her original speculation.

Fang JunRong had read books on rebirth and transmigration. After all, she had experienced it herself and even invested in television shows on the subject. Now she was even more certain than before that Liang AnQi was a book transmigrator.

What Fang JunRong didn’t know was which book she had transmigrated into. For sure it was not the one with Jiang YaGe as the protagonist.
