Chapter 388 - She had a feeling that Liang AnQi would go look for Jiang DeXian again. (3)

Fang JunRong was quite surprised when she received the call from Liang Feng. She had no idea why Liang Feng wanted to meet with her out of the blue but she agreed to it nonetheless.

They were set to meet at a hotel under Liang Feng’s name.

“Can I call you JunRong?” said Liang Feng.

Fang JunRong nodded, “What’s the matter?”

Liang Feng had always given her the impression of being a very decisive person but she now looked hesitant in front of her for a change.

“Do you have any extra jadeite, JunRong? Something similar to what you have given to Old Mr. Geng’s grandson.” Liang Feng then added, “Money is not a problem. I can buy it from you.”

Kong Shuang had sought her out two days ago and asked for her help. Liang Feng wasn’t a fan of mistresses but Kong Shuang was different. It was her brother who hid the fact that he was married and tricked the innocent Kong Shuang. Liang Feng could not possibly place the blame on her. In addition, Kong Shuang had been staying overseas with her daughter all these years and never reached out to the Liang family. She had never tried to stir up anything.

That was the reason she agreed to meet with Kong Shuang. Lo and behold, she learned about her niece’s body being taken over by another spirit from Kong Shuang. Liang Feng didn’t feel that Kong Shuang would need to lie about such a thing. What kind of mother would not recognize her own daughter? Liang Feng spent a couple of days looking into it and quickly found out about the abnormalities of AnQi.

Not only did she act like a completely different person after she had fallen into the water, even her handwriting was different than it was in the past.

Liang AnQi was, after all, her niece and, from what she had read so far, had been a nice and docile child in the past and was completely different from how she was right now.

Liang Feng made up some sort of a reason, brought Liang AnQi to her place and kept her there. She also reached out to a few grandmasters that she knew and to see if they had any ideas.

One of the grandmasters said that he could perform a ritual but he would also need a specific tool. In addition, this tool needed to be natural. Perhaps something similar to the jade that Geng Yuan’s grandson normally wore on him. Wearing something like that would be helpful.

Liang Feng had no shortage of money but looking for something like that was no easy feat. She had no choice but to hit up Fang JunRong to see if she had something like that.

Fang JunRong had a bunch of those. She had stored all of the gems that she had obtained from raw stones in her dimension so they could be immersed in mystical qi. Liang Feng gave her a good impression but Fang JunRong didn’t want to give the impression that she possessed a lot of gems of the sort.

“I have a few but not a whole lot left anymore.”

“I will be honest with you. I want to buy this to save my niece. She had been possessed. The grandmaster that I looked for said I will need something similar to that.” Liang Feng brought it up subtly.

Fang JunRong thought about Liang AnQi immediately. She had let her true colors show after all.

She nodded. “Okay. I will part with it since it’s for saving another person.”

“Thank you.” Liang Feng was very appreciative of it but she didn’t want to take advantage of Fang JunRong either. She brought up joint ventures with Fang JunRong and planned to give her a bigger share of the profit as a way to show her appreciation. The two had always been compatible and they even reached a new level after they had agreed on their joint ventures.

Saving someone was more important and Fang JunRong planned to pick a piece of her gem for Liang Feng when she reached home that day. Even though she had them stored in her dimension, she couldn’t possibly just pull them out in public. She told Liang Feng that she had it at home.
