Xuexue returned to her room and lay on the bed feeling very dejected. Thinking about what happened today, she couldn’t help feeling a wave of fear. Having been reborn recently, vulnerable and alone, she had been too careless. Thankfully Big Bull was there, or else the consequences could have been unthinkable.

While pondering, she unconsciously rolled up her sleeve to inspect the wound on her wrist. The wound wasn’t big, and it seemed like nothing much.
