Raven fell into a contemplative reverie.

Options 2 and 3 were bullshit, leaving only options 1 and 4.

Instantly, the flow of time seemed to normalise, the sword speeding towards Raven at an alarming rate.

Just like as stated explicitly by the system, Raven twisted his body sideways at an alarming speed and clamped his hand down hard on the sword's hilt.

The momentum of the sword was huge, and stopping it abruptly put Raven's fingers under a lot of strain.

But he held on, until the sword in his hand, which was earlier humming with energy, fell deadly silent.

But that didn't mean Raven let go of his grip on the sword. Instead, he clenched his fist even tighter.

After a few seconds, the darkness receded, and Raven was back to the previous room where he had first encountered with the brick.

The brick, or better to say, the block of polymorph æther remained dangling crookedly just like when Raven had first seen it.

Noticing that Raven was back, it suddenly took the shape of a teenage girl.

With silvery blue hair cascading over her porcelain face , almond eyes peeking out from behind her long navy blue lashes, she uttered a single sentence.

A sentence that sent chills down Raven's spine.
