Chapter 124: Azure Dragon

The whole Origin Continent was in disheaval, trying to find traces of the dragon. The name "Optimus Dragon Prime" had spread everywhere, as they believed this was the name of the dragon.

As for the Emperors, they appeared at the site where Drakion had taken his tribulation. They were surprised—the aura lingering here indicated that the tribulation was related to the Saint Realm. Yet, they also wondered, because the remnants of the battle aura suggested that it was an Emperor-Level figure who had fought.

They suspected that the Heavens might have sent an Emperor-Level Tribulation. And judging by the devastation, it seemed the tribulation had eliminated the cultivators entirely. They examined the ruined battlefield and saw that its reach was vast—yet, strangely, not a single trace of thunder Originat remained.

One of them tried to probe deeper, to determine if the Tribulator was still alive. If the person had survived, then he was a rare talent worthy of being cultivated—even if he was an old man, it meant he possessed intended battle power.

But the moment they attempted to deduce the truth, they suffered the backlash of the Heavenly Dao. Blood spurted from their mouths as they staggered.

When they witnessed this, they believed their assumptions had been right—and promptly left.

What they didn’t know... was that the Heavenly Dao had protected them. For if they had uncovered the truth, they would have died instantly—or worse, survived and wished they hadn’t.

The whole Cerulean searched for Drakion, but they couldn’t find a single trace of him, nor of any dragon. Yet ironically, because of this great search, they unearthed countless treasures.

He brought the Draco-Rat to the Dragon Pool. As he placed the resources in their designated spots, the pool churned—filled with thick, pulsing dragon blood.

Ding!

[Does Host wish to begin the Transmutation? Y/N]

Drakion didn’t waste time as he clicked, "Yes."

The moment Drakion confirmed the transmutation, the pool reacted instantly.

The Draco-Rat’s body twisted violently within the thick blood. It squealed, its limbs thrashing, eyes wide with agony as its tiny frame began to stretch unnaturally. Steam rose from its flesh as the dragon blood carved through its bones, reshaping them. Its skin cracked, shedding in chunks as shimmering blue-green scales burst forth.

The cries turned deeper, heavier—less like a rat, more like something ancient awakening.

The pool frothed and roared as arcs of pale blue lightning shot from within, tearing across the sky. The clouds above churned violently, as if stirred by the creature’s pain. Rain began to fall—cold and steady—soaking into the trembling earth around the Dragon Pool.

Ding!

[Bloodline Transmutation Complete.]

[The bloodline has become Legendary Grade.]

Drakion narrowed his eyes and looked toward the pool.

From the steaming blood rose a long, elegant form. It hovered above the surface, coiled midair with quiet majesty. Its scales shimmered with an ethereal sheen—a mixture of deep ocean teal and storm-kissed jade, glowing faintly beneath the rain. Thin streams of lightning traced across its body, disappearing beneath each scale like rivers of energy.

It had no wings, yet it hovered with grace—a sky-soaring serpent born from divine blood, untethered by gravity. A flowing mane of blue-white mist ran from its head down its back, like clouds wrapped around a mountaintop. Twin horns curled upward like ancient jade crescents, pulsing with power. Its claws were sharp but refined, and its eyes—emerald with flecks of stormlight—carried the weight of ancient skies.

The moment its eyes opened, the rain slowed.

It didn’t roar.

It didn’t move.

It simply existed—and that alone bent the air around it.

The aura it released was heavy, dignified—not wild or wrathful, but measured and royal. The winds quieted in its presence. The sky itself seemed to kneel, recognizing the regality of the beast before them.

Drakion watched as the Azure Dragon slowly raised its head toward the heavens... and then it opened its mouth—

ROAR!

It let out an enormous dragon roar that shook the Origin Continent.

Storms raged.

Lightning split the sky.

Rain fell like a divine proclamation—

As if the world itself was welcoming back its Emperor.

Ding!

[You have gained the Azure Dragon Bloodline]

Drakion was pleased by this. The Azure Dragon matched what he knew and had envisioned from novels and Earth’s ancient histories. It was the same with the Poison Sister—though she had no wings, she could still soar through the skies.

Meanwhile, the entire Origin Continent was thrown into shock as a deafening Draconic roar echoed across the lands. It startled and thrilled them, and they searched frantically for its source—but it was as if the sound came from everywhere and nowhere at once, leaving them confused.

Moments later, storm clouds churned in the skies, and bolts of lightning tore across the heavens. Rain began to fall. Many thought doomsday had arrived once again—until they noticed something miraculous. As the rain touched the earth, spring awakened. Blossoms bloomed, life stirred, and the land grew lush. Originat thickened in the air and pulsed through the surroundings.

They felt it—a blessing from the dragons—and joy spread among the people. But even as they celebrated, the hunt for dragons continued.

Yet something else stirred.

Draconic figures across the continent froze as the mighty roar washed over them. It wasn’t just a sound—it was a command, a proclamation. At that same moment, ancient ruins began to slowly rise from beneath the earth, emerging into the world once more.

Back at the Dragon Palace...

Quinn, who had been training Elemarion, froze as he too heard the roar of the Azure Dragon. His body vanished in a flash as he reappeared at the Dragon Pool.

"It’s truly it," he murmured, his voice trembling with awe.

"Oh? Do you know the dragon?" Drakion asked with a calm smile.

"It’s the Azure Dragon," Quinn replied solemnly. "One of the First Dragons that ever existed."

Drakion’s eyes widened in astonishment. Without delay, he appraised the Azure Dragon:
