1155  First Trial Part 8

"That doctor worked for the prime minister. We already know he was working with the church. He has already received a punishment much better than death." The king replied. "For now, things are settled, but war is already closing in. The thing I was trying to avoid the most will soon be happening. Your new sister, Tilia, was the one who risked everything. She abandoned her kingdom just to warn me of the war ahead."

"She did that?" The king's eldest son looked at  Tilia in a new light. He lowered his head and said: "Little sister, thank you so much. If you had not warned us, we would not have been able to react in time."

"No! I didn't do anything. It was Kana who helped me get here, and it was her who not only saved the king but also found the culprit." Tilia waved her hands back and forth. She did not think she had much to do with anything. She was just along for the ride, really.

"Tilia, you look down on yourself too much. To have the courage to even leave one's homeland to warn another kingdom. This is something not many would be able to do, even for an adult. You left everything behind to come here. If it was not for you, Big Sister and I would not have come to save the king. We would have been just as clueless as everyone else as we sat in the first town we came across trying to build new lives. So, me coming here. Me being able to save anyone was thanks to your own courage." Kana rubbed the top of Tilia's head. She really loved this sister of hers. Even now, after all these years, she was still the same.

"Kana!" Tilia hugged Kana tightly. This made the people in the room smile. The two princesses looked at their new little sister and found her to be too cute! They looked at eachother and nodded their heads. They walked forward and joined the hug!

"We will be sure to make our new sister happy as can be!" The eldest princess replied. "But you should no longer say king this or king that. He is your father now." "Mmm… Sorry, Father…." Tilia blushed. She was not used to having familial closeness. The king smiled and clapped his hands. "Haha! Good! Good! I wish we could celebrate, but we need to do a few things first. First, we need to lock down the castle. Second, we need to revoke all laws that had been passed down while I was imprisoned. Third, we need to ready our forces."

"The third one will not be needed." Kana yawned as she began stretching her legs. "Give me a set of clothes to wear, and I will head out alone. With my strength, even if the stupid devil the pope is worshiping shows up, he will not be able to live."

"Are you sure you can handle it alone? They will be sending hundreds of thousands of troops…." The king was worried. Kana was no older than Tilia from the looks of it, yet she was going to face so many alone.

"Hehe…" Kana smiled as she touched an object next to her. The object suddenly disappeared without a trace. "If they do not exist how can they harm me?"

Everyone in the room besides Tilia shuttered. She was right. If she could make them disappear, how could they harm her? But just the thought alone was enough to send a chill running down their backs.

"Alright, we will do as you say." The king looked at his daughter, who quickly nodded and pulled Kana with her. A few hours later Kana was standing in the fields on the border of the beast kingdom. She decided she would not let even a single one of the humans enter her home. Kana waited for three days until finally, on the morning of the third day, a massive army approached the beast kingdom. Kana floated up into the air and stood in the sky. She then floated over to the human army. "Those of the human kingdom, stand down!" A wave of pressure blasted out of her body, slamming into the army below. Every soldier in the massive lineup fell to the ground, unable to get up. "I will let you live if you are willing to retreat. If not, I will wipe your very existence off this planet. There will be no grave. Your entire being will be as if it had never existed."

"A little girl should not stand in our way!" A voice rang out. The image of a man appeared in the sky. His angry gaze fell on the small figure in the air.

"Ermmm…" Kana dug her ear. "Your words do not matter since you are now dead." Kana waved her hand. In another place, in a country ruled by the church, the massive cathedral that housed the pope suddenly disappeared from the world. The large image of a man disappeared without a trace, never to appear again. Kana stood there and looked at the soldiers below and gave them one final warning. "You have one more chance. Will you give up or not? I do not wish to kill you all. I just hope you realize that beastkins and humans are not much different. We are just different races. Just like there are white and black humans. You are the same but just a different race. There is no difference in your makeup. The only difference between our race and the human race is that we carry animal traits, unlike you humans. "But so what? Can't we all just work together and better this world? Why rage a useless war that will do nothing but breed new hate? Should I find out who hates bestkins and just wipe them out, just like how I wiped the church off the face of this world? I will give you all ten minutes to decide. Once I release my pressure, anyone who takes a step forward will be seen as an enemy. Anyone who attacks will be seen as a target. Do not make me kill you."
