Reborn as a Superpower Girl in the 80s-Chapter 39 - Enrollment
Chapter 39: Chapter 39 Enrollment
Chapter 39 -39 Enrollment
Luo Qiao had tried, and realized the space could be influenced by one’s thoughts, meaning the chickens and rabbits would not descend the mountain at will, relieving Luo Qiao of worries that they might someday ravage her vegetables and crops after growing in numbers.
During this period, Luo Qiao had read through all the junior high textbooks she had found in the space, confident that she would have no trouble with the entrance exams. She had even roughly gone through the high school textbooks, although sadly, they weren’t complete. It seemed she would need to find more when she had the time.
After the spring planting was over, Lu Yichen sent word that his comrade had already spoken with the commune’s middle school, stating that if Luo Qiao passed their examination, she could take the middle school entrance exam along with this year’s graduates.
But if she failed, it would be quite embarrassing. As long as she passed the test, the school would assist her in setting up her academic record, which reassured her.
Overjoyed upon receiving the message, Luo Qiao said, “Brother Lu, I truly can’t thank you enough. I’ll make some snacks as a token of my appreciation and you’ll deliver them to your comrade for me. Don’t you dare refuse.”
Lu Yichen, looking at the young girl smiling in the sunlight, felt his spirits lift, knowing she didn’t want to impose a favor on him, so he didn’t object.
Luo Qiao was one to act on her words promptly; she requested time off the next day from the team leader, who, upon inquiry, received an honest explanation from her. However, she asked the team leader to keep her secret, not wanting the villagers to gossip.

The team leader nodded in agreement, his respect for Luo Qiao growing.
When Luo Qiao arrived at the commune’s middle school, the gates had only just opened. After explaining her purpose to the gatekeeper, the elderly man came out and pointed her to the direction of the principal’s office.
According to the gatekeeper, Principal Qin was the earliest to arrive and would undoubtedly be in his office now.
She knocked gently on the door, and a voice from inside said, “Come in.”
Luo Qiao pushed open the door and entered, saying respectfully, “Good morning, Principal. My name is Luo Qiao. Director Jiang from the county education bureau sent me here to participate in the entrance examination.”
Principal Qin paused momentarily, then smiled, “Ah, now I remember. You’re the one Director Jiang mentioned, the one who wants to go straight to taking the middle school entrance exam, right?”
Luo Qiao nodded and replied, “Yes, Principal.”
Principal Qin inquired, “I heard you haven’t attended elementary school before?”
Without concealment, Luo Qiao replied, “Yes, when I was at the farm, I learned a lot from several professors there for many years. After they returned to the city, I continued to self-study.
I’ve finished the junior high curriculum and am preparing to study at high school. However, self-study alone isn’t enough; one needs a diploma to be recognized by everyone, which is why I’ve come to trouble you, Principal.”
Hearing sounds of activity outside the office as people started to arrive, Principal Qin called a teacher from the graduating class to bring a mock middle school exam for Luo Qiao to take.
After two hours, Luo Qiao had completed all the papers, and by the time she finished the last one, the earlier papers had already been graded, astonishing the teachers who’d come in.
Principal Qin decided on the spot to allow her to join Class One, though Luo Qiao also explained her situation; she would not have time to attend classes regularly, but she would certainly review and practice more at home.
Upon hearing Luo Qiao’s explanation, Principal Qin sighed deeply and spoke earnestly, “You must review thoroughly. Every time the school holds exams, a classmate will inform you in advance.”
After thanking him profusely, Luo Qiao followed the teacher who had been called over, Teacher Ning of Class One, completed the admission procedures, and paid the fees. Having looked at the graduating class’s textbooks, Luo Qiao realized she already owned most of them, thereby saving a considerable sum on book costs.
With Teacher Ning, Luo Qiao then briefly introduced herself to Class One. Teacher Ning also explained Luo Qiao’s circumstances. After finalizing everything, Luo Qiao bade the teacher farewell and left the school.
