Reborn as an Yandere : Yandere X Yandere-Chapter 267: Yandere X Yandere
Chapter 267: Yandere X Yandere
Few hours ago!...
In the class B of the academy, once again, the teacher wasn’t present. It wasn’t that surprising anymore—proxy lectures happened a lot.
The academy always focused more on Class A students. Class B got decent attention, but Class C... they were just cannon fodder. Everyone knew it.
But right now, something rude and disgusting was happening in the middle of the class B room.
A girl sat quietly in the middle row, right in the center seat. She had purple hair and a pale, tired face. Her head was low, avoiding eye contact with everyone. Her hair even covered one side of her face, hiding an eye. She looked like someone who didn’t want to be noticed at all.
She was Alice.
Just like always, she was trying to survive the class without drawing attention. Students around her were laughing, throwing erasers and paper balls at her head. Some of them even bounced off and landed on the floor. But she didn’t flinch. She didn’t say a word. Her hands rested on her bench, holding a pencil loosely, and in front of her was a notebook.
But instead of notes or classwork, the pages were filled with messy scribbles, scratchy lines, and strange little drawings. She wasn’t writing anything. On the latest page, she was trying to draw someone.
It was a girl’s figure—tall, slim, with a short skirt and a cheerful expression. The strokes were shaky and nervous, but full of effort.
It was Maruti.
"I have to endure this," Alice thought, biting her lower lip slightly. "I can’t let Maruti see me like this... She’ll only be disappointed. I’m just too weak..."
But just then—splash!
Something cold and sticky poured down on her head. It soaked her hair and ran down her back, wetting her clothes.
It wasn’t just water—it was juice.
Alice’s body jolted in surprise. Her hand trembled. The pencil fell from her fingers.
"Oops," a sharp voice giggled behind her, "I guess the orange juice really liked you!"
The voice belonged to Sharon, a girl with bright orange hair tied in a bouncy ponytail and a cruel smirk stretched across her lips. Her arms were crossed like a queen enjoying a show.
"Haha, Sharon... Not even an orange would like this wanna-be goth girl," one of her friends laughed, clearly enjoying the scene.
Alice said nothing.
She didn’t cry. She didn’t yell. She simply sat still, soaked in juice, as if this was just another normal day for her.
That made them even more irritated.
Their mocking eyes moved down and noticed what she had been drawing.
"Oh? What’s this?" Sharon sneered and without warning, reached down and snatched the notebook from Alice’s desk.
Alice’s eyes widened. "No—don’t!" she said quickly and stood up, trying to grab it back, but Sharon had already lifted it above her head, flipping to the page Alice was drawing on.
There it was—Maruti’s drawing.
Sharon stared at it for a second, surprised. "Is that... Maruti? The one from Class A? The one who hunted the most monsters the "that" night?"
Alice tried to snatch the notebook again, but Sharon pulled it away. freewёbnoνel-com
"Oh my god," Sharon chuckled, lowering the book and waving it slightly, "I did see them talking once. She must’ve said hi or something—and this bitch thought they were friends!"
Sharon laughed darkly. "Ain’t no way an elite like Maruti would ever care about someone like her."
But then, Sharon’s female friend scoffed and sneered with a bitter expression on her face.
"What elite? You should just take a closer look! She looks like the type of girl who’d sleep with anyone—whether it’s for fun or for money," she said, her voice filled with jealousy and spite.
She and her group weren’t anywhere near the level of someone like Maruti or anyone from Class A. Deep inside, they knew they could never reach that level. So all they could do was gossip and talk badly about others—even if those things weren’t true.
Sharon let out a laugh and nodded. "For real? I kind of had the same feeling when I saw her from a distance. A literal whore—"
But before she could finish her sentence, her entire body froze.
A sudden, cold chill crawled down her spine, and the hairs on her neck stood up. A hand wrapped around her shoulder.
It was Alice. But something was different.
Her body was surrounded by a thick, sinister purple aura. It was dark, cold, and terrifying. She didn’t feel like the same Alice anymore. Her presence was overwhelming.
"You better not say anything about her... or I’ll fucking kill you," Alice growled in a low voice. She put a little pressure on Sharon’s shoulder.
Sharon winced in pain and gritted her teeth. "You! Let go of me!" she shouted and tried to pull Alice’s hand off her, but it didn’t move—not even a little.
Sharon’s eyes widened in fear. "Since when did she become so strong? And why does she seem so tall now? Was she always this tall?" Her heart raced and her hands trembled.
"You bitch, let go of my friend! Do you even know who my father is? Your life will be ruined!" Sharon’s friend stepped in and tried to pull Alice away.
But then— *Slap!*
Alice slapped her so hard that the girl collapsed to the ground, knocked out cold.
*Slap!*... *Slap!*... *Slap!*
Alice didn’t stop. She gave Sharon three more heavy slaps right across sharon’s face, one after another.
Sharon’s head swayed back and forth, and with the final one, she too fell unconscious, her body dropping like a ragdoll.
One of the boys sitting at the back, who had been throwing paper balls and erasers at Alice earlier, still didn’t realize what was going on. He casually threw an eraser at her.
But without even looking, Alice raised her hand and caught it midair. She then threw it back—fast.
*Kacha!*
The eraser smacked the boy straight in the face. He screamed in pain and fell to the floor, holding his nose.
Alice turned her head slowly, her wet hair clinging to her face and neck. Her purple eyes, They were glowing faintly, like some kind of demon’s gaze. She wasn’t Alice anymore.
She was Arlecchino.
*Slap!*... *Slap!*... *Slap!*... *Slap!*...
One by one, she walked up to each person who had been throwing things at her earlier. Without a word, she slapped every single one of them across the face. No one could stand against her. One by one, they all fell unconscious from the impact.
When it was finally over, Arlecchino ran her fingers through her sticky, juice-covered hair. Her uniform was drenched and clinging to her body.
"Idiots... They bully the weak, but fear the strong. That’s all they know," she muttered, her voice cold and disappointed.
She looked down at her ruined uniform and sighed.
"I should go to the washroom first... And maybe see what kind of trouble I can stir up while I’m still awake."
With a mischievous smirk on her face, she walked out of the classroom, deciding to skip class.
And as if fate was smiling on her—
The moment she stepped into the hallway, she saw a group of Class A students walking in the same direction.
Among them... was Maruti.

After telling everything to Lortell, Esdeath knew her plan would need to change a bit. It couldn’t go the way she first thought anymore. But teaming up with Lortell had its own advantages too.
The only real problem was that Lortell would never let Esdeath do anything dangerous now. If something seemed even slightly risky, Lortell would step in right away. That might mess up the whole plan. But Esdeath had already decided—she needed to be more careful from now on.
The balcony went quiet. Esdeath looked at Lortell. For a moment, neither of them said anything. But then she noticed a sly little smile appear on Lortell’s lips.
"I’m actually amazed... My little sister is going all out to bring me down," Lortell said with a soft laugh.
Esdeath didn’t hold back. "Would you mind if I kill your sister?" she asked, calm and serious.
Lortell didn’t even flinch. She slowly shook her head. "I don’t mind," she said. "But I do want to see how far she goes. Heh... I’ll decide what to do with her depending on how much she entertains me."
Esdeath didn’t respond. She stayed quiet and started thinking deeply, adjusting her plans inside her head. The silence between them grew again—awkward, heavy.
Then suddenly, Lortell took out a small matchbox and two slim cigarettes. She took one for herself, then held the other one toward Esdeath.
"I think today’s talk got a little too serious. Here, take this. Consider it another small breather," Lortell said in a soft, relaxed voice.
Esdeath blinked and looked at the cigarette in surprise. She hesitated.
"B-but... you told me not to smoke before," she said with a confused look.
Lortell smiled. "I’ll allow it for today," she replied.
Esdeath stared at her for a second, unsure. But then, slowly, she reached her hand out to take the cigarette. Just as her fingers were about to touch it—smack!
Lortell lightly tapped Esdeath’s forehead with the cigarette instead.
"That was a test. You failed," Lortell said with a teasing grin.
Esdeath rubbed her forehead, a bit embarrassed. Her cheeks puffed slightly, and she looked away like a cute child who got scolded.
---
Lortell saw Esdeath’s cute and puffed-up expression and burst out laughing. A real, loud, hearty laugh.
"Hahaha... I’m sorry, okay! I’m really sorry! Here, take it. I’m not joking this time," Lortell said, still giggling as she handed the cigarette to Esdeath again.
Esdeath gave her a slightly suspicious glare but slowly reached out and took it. She placed the cigarette gently between her rosy red lips.
Lortell, always dramatic, leaned in close with a playful smirk. She placed her own cigarette in her mouth, and then—without saying anything—she brought its tip close to Esdeath’s.
Their cigarettes touched, and with a small spark of magic, both lit up at the same time.
A soft glow reflected on their faces.
Esdeath didn’t even react to the closeness anymore. She was kind of used to Lortell’s flirty antics. She didn’t pull away. She didn’t say anything. She just stared quietly at Lortell... as if deep in thought.
"Just what should I call this relationship?" Esdeath wondered as smoke curled around her face.
"We’re both not quite right in the head. Both tied together... by invisible leashes, pulling and choking each other at the same time."
Her heart felt strange. Not warm, not cold, just... weird. Confused.
And then she noticed something else.
The longer she looked at Lortell, the more beautiful she seemed. The glow of the cigarette’s flame, the way her long silver hair shimmered under the balcony lights, the soft curves of her lips, the teasing twinkle in her red eyes... everything was enchanting.
Esdeath slowly exhaled the smoke and said in a calm voice, "Come here for a second. I need to tell you something."
Lortell raised an eyebrow, curious. "What is it?" she asked, stepping closer.
"No, bend down a little. I want to whisper it in your ear," Esdeath said softly, her voice almost like a sweet lullaby.
Lortell leaned in without a second thought, bending slightly to match Esdeath’s height.
But the moment she did—
Esdeath suddenly pulled the cigarette from Lortell’s mouth and, without warning, pressed her lips deeply onto Lortell’s.
It was a bold, passionate kiss.
Warm and full of heat.
Lortell’s eyes widened in surprise, but she didn’t pull away. Instead, her body relaxed. Her fingers twitched slightly, and a faint blush appeared on her pale cheeks.
As their lips stayed locked, Esdeath’s thoughts echoed in her head.
"If this was a novel, the title would be something like Love Story of Two Psychopaths... or maybe Yandere X Yandere. Hah... not a bad name."
-----------------
Meanwhile, outside on the balcony, a magic barrier surrounded them. It wasn’t meant to hide or conceal anything. It just kept the noise from leaking out. But anyone could still see inside clearly.
Selene, Esdeath’s little daughter, had just finished playing with a few noble children downstairs. But she got bored quickly. She missed her mother.
So she went looking for her.
She checked a few rooms on the ground floor, then made her way up to the first floor. As she walked past the corridor, she noticed the soft glow from the balcony, She didn’t needed eyes like Esdeath to see invisible things.
"Mother—" she started to say, but her voice stopped mid-air.
Her eyes landed on the two figures standing close together.
She saw Esdeath and Lortell locked some serious work.
Selene froze for a second, her tiny mouth forming a small ’O’. Her eyes blinked once, twice, and then she quietly turned around.
She didn’t say anything.
Instead, she gave a small sigh, then smiled softly to herself.
"Mother is quite busy it seems... I guess I should come back later,"
