Reborn as Mr.CEO's Fat Wife-Chapter 310 - (Including Bonus Material) You said I would miss you so much that I can’t sleep
Chapter 310: Chapter 310 (Including Bonus Material) You said I would miss you so much that I can’t sleep
Brandon Piers was momentarily softened by the gaze of Abigail Green’s bright, dark eyes and looked up at the old man. “No need.”
Abigail silently breathed a sigh of relief.
The next moment, she heard the man add, “I’ll go find her myself.”
Abigail, “…” What the heck is the difference?
The old man nodded at his grandson with satisfaction, thinking, “This young one can be taught.”
Abigail simply lowered her head and continued eating. Lately, life had really been in deep distress.
...
After dinner, Abigail switched with Kelly, played with little Teddy until after seven, and seeing the little guy fall asleep, asked Kelly to watch over him while she took a bath. When she came out, she found the atmosphere was not quite right.
“Abigail, now that you’re done with your bath, I’ll take Teddy next door to sleep. You take good care of Mr. Brandon.” With that said, she turned and left with Teddy, not giving Abigail a chance to react.
Abigail stood there dumbfounded, her hair still partially dry and wearing loose pajamas. Upon hearing Kelly’s words, a curse popped in her head: “Take good care of Mr. Brandon,” my ass!
How was she supposed to take care of Mr. Brandon?
Could anyone in this house be normal? Doesn’t anyone think she’s just a fat girl who isn’t fit for their incredibly handsome Mr. Brandon?
Were they all blind?
Yet Kelly not only took Teddy out but also conveniently closed the door behind her. Closed it…
Really, enjoying the drama, aren’t they?
“Ahem…” Brandon, who hadn’t drawn any attention, lightly coughed into his fist, hinting at his presence.
Abigail’s first reaction was that this was straight out of a classic sickly beauty scene.
“Um… I’ll go change clothes, wait a minute.” Abigail casually grabbed an outer garment from the wardrobe and returned to the bathroom.
Moments later, Brandon saw the little chubby girl walk out wearing a trench coat in the middle of summer. His expression was hard to decipher.
Abigail felt even more embarrassed. She had taken a quick bath, and being heavier, her prominent curves were unsettling. Although wearing the trench coat was odd, it gave her a sense of security.
Brandon looked at Abigail’s strange attire; his expression remained unchanged, but his eyes involuntarily lingered on her thick black hair, which was half-dry, making it look even darker. It framed her round, egg-like face, which was white and tender. She had big eyes that darted around shyly, looking extremely cute.
And…
Brandon didn’t dare continue, being a gentleman.
“I’ll go get the needles.” Abigail finally found a way to ease the awkwardness. She fetched a set of silver needles from her bag, disinfected them, spread them out on the table, and pointed at Brandon. “Lie down.”
“Okay.” Brandon snapped out of it and obediently lay down on the couch.
Abigail looked at the dark circles under the man’s eyes, feeling uneasy. “I told you that looking at scars would keep you from sleeping, but you didn’t believe me.”
“You said I’d lose sleep from thinking about you.” Brandon corrected Abigail.
Abigail facepalmed, “Same difference.”
“Same difference?” Brandon raised an eyebrow, with his long, deep eyes full of amusement. “Are you kidding me?”
Abigail was embarrassed, secretly berating herself. Serves you right for running your mouth!
“Yes.” After berating herself, she replied without blushing or skipping a beat.
Brandon found it amusing and lay back on the couch, looking up at Abigail. “I don’t care what it means. Since you’re why I’m sleepless, you’ll have to take full responsibility.”
Abigail took a deep breath. That unreasonable dog-man!
“Are you ready?” Abigail asked, considering no longer why he was sleepless, focusing solely on making him sleep.
Last time during surgery, Brandon had only vaguely seen Abigail, who was now giving him acupuncture clearly.

Contrary to expectations, he felt no unease but rather found the confidence in her eyes made her even cuter.
Cuter than the little fox on his nightstand.
But the cuteness disappeared the moment she pulled out a twelve-centimeter-long needle. Thinking of Pullan’s fear of Abigail’s needles, his brows twitched, and he asked, looking at Abigail, “Are you sure about using this one?”
“Relax, it won’t hurt.” Abigail answered sincerely.
But her words did not reassure Brandon. How could a twelve-centimeter needle in the body not hurt? Since when did this chubby girl learn to lie?
“Should we use some anesthetic?” Brandon felt it wasn’t that he feared pain; this needle just seemed excessively long.
“No need, acupuncture doesn’t require anesthetic.” Abigail dismissed the idea and suddenly looked down at Brandon lying on the couch. “Are you afraid of pain?”
“Impossible!” Brandon denied without thinking, then couldn’t help but ask, “Didn’t you say it wouldn’t hurt?”
“If your condition is severe, it might.” Abigail was always rigorous in her professional field.
Brandon regretted it; he wanted to give up!
But Abigail was already holding the needle towards him, “Since you’re not afraid of pain, don’t be scared. Let’s begin!”
With that, Abigail plunged the needle into one side of Brandon’s cervical spine.
“Ugh…” Seeing out the corner of his eye the needle going into his neck, Brandon groaned but then realized it didn’t actually hurt. The groan abruptly stopped, and he noticed the peculiar disdain on Abigail’s face.
Outside, the old man, eavesdropping, excitedly pulled Pullan aside. What did he just hear? Brandon groaned, Brandon groaned… could it be the two of them were finally together?
Inside the room.
Abigail continued inserting needles.
Brandon’s reaction earlier had made her a bit nervous, her expression becoming more serious. This was the first time she used silver needles to treat someone since her rebirth, rather than dealing with those who hurt Abigail Green.
“Does it hurt?” Abigail asked softly.
Brandon awkwardly shook his head. Other than a negligible sting when the needles pierced the skin, there was no other pain, just a tingly feeling with some muscle soreness, entirely different from what he had imagined.
Abigail nodded. Brandon’s insomnia wasn’t as severe.
But since he said it didn’t hurt, Abigail didn’t hold back, inserting the thin needles into the acupuncture points on both sides of Brandon’s neck and then his thoracic vertebra.
There was no pain, and Brandon quickly adapted, relaxing all his muscles.
Since hearing firsthand about Abigail’s childbirth, Brandon’s whole heart had been tense. Filled with guilt and regret, he found it hard to sleep nightly. After witnessing the cesarean scar in person yesterday, he felt even more compassion for Abigail, wanting immediately to shred the whole Green family to pieces.
But he couldn’t.
After enduring such hardships, she remained emotionally healthy, always smiling openly and warmly in front of everyone, being gentle and kind with Teddy. He didn’t know whether to call her foolish or too kind-hearted?
In any case, he realized that seeing Abigail’s hardly beautiful but round face somehow soothed his heart, giving him a rare sense of inner peace. He felt like the most ordinary man on earth, content to guard his wife and son and find happiness and joy in this small world.
The more he felt this way, the more he tried to suppress his inner violence, not wanting to scare her.
As for insomnia, just looking at her round face and flawless eyes eased his nerves within days.
Plus, those soft little hands occasionally touched his skin, making his heart itch while giving him an inexplicable sense of solidity.
Thirty minutes later, Abigail removed the last needle, but Brandon had already fallen asleep on the couch.
After tidying up the tools, Abigail was in a dilemma, leaning in to look at that extraordinarily handsome face. Should she wake him?
