A little girl, dressed in dirty pajamas, about four or five years old, disheveled and barefoot, stood behind the woman. Seeing her mother kowtow, the girl burst into tears, staggering towards them. On their way, Chief of Staff Liao from Qing City Military Region provided Ouyang Jun with a satellite phone, fearing they might encounter danger inside since communication in Meishan had been completely cut off. Without the satellite phone, no calls could be made.
