Reborn for Revenge: Find her Fated Alpha-Chapter 122: Kill them
Amelia couldn’t stay in the same room as Cyrus after he dropped the bomb on her like that.
She needed space, time to process the information.
She wanted to believe that everything he said was a lie. That he was making up things to get back to her for worrying him about this kidnapping, but she couldn’t say a word.
Why?
Because even if she was in disbelief, she could see some reality to it.
Cyrus’s words echoed in her head like a cursed chant.
Hannah wasn’t her sister.
Her father betrayed her mother long ago.
Jessica wasn’t just a Nanny.
And nobody knew the entire truth but her father and Jessica.
She was so young at that time, how would she have known the truth that she had been betrayed from the very beginning.
And her mother’s death, was it natural or a conspiracy too?
In both of her lives, Amelia had been raking her mind, every memory deeply to find out the reason behind Hannah’s hatred towards her, but she couldn’t find the strong reason.
However, this...
Hannah hated her because Amelia’s life was a hindrance to Jessica’s position in the family. But if that was the case entirely, why did they tolerate her to the very end? Let her grow, only to kill again?
They could’ve killed her when she was a child. After all, her father hated from the very beginning, no?
His words, concern for her mother, his undying love for his wife was nothing but a lie.
And while she thought about this, she also thought about everything she went through in that house in the name of love and affection from her family.
Everytime she put her down, thought about her family, chose pebbles over diamonds, gave her hard work to her father and Hannah, only to exploit it under their name...everything started roaming in her head.
She felt a weird ache in her head and she clutched her hair in suppressed anger.
Cyrus watched everything from the balcony of his office.
He saw the girl nearly breaking down repetitively and holding herself together.
He licked his bottom lip. His heart ached for her. He could feel her pain through the mark on his neck and to say he was astonished would be an understatement.
Cyrus hadn’t thought the sadness and pain ran so deep in her heart. After all, most of the time she appeared before him, she was full of life and never complained about anything.
He also knew that she was full of questions. Why did they do this to her like this? Why did they keep her alive for so long?
And he knew the answer to the measure of those questions. However, he didn’t want to reveal everything to her.
He wanted to see her reaction to this reality and how she would handle the truth after knowing everything. This will also decide if she was worthy of being his queen after he became the king.
The queen trials were a reality that they wouldn’t be able to ignore and he needed to start training her for that too.
"Sir, can I go now?" Miss Quinn asked Cyrus.
Cyrus had specifically asked all the staff to not bother their princess and let her deal with her emotions herself.
Even if they heard her screaming, crying for help, or wailing in agony, they weren’t allowed to go near her.
’She is stronger than you give her credit for,’ Sylas whispered.
Cyrus looked at the girl who sat at the bench, looking at nothing in particular.
Amelia took deep breaths.
At first she thought this life was only going to be about avoiding the mishaps that led to her miserable life last time and trying to find Hannah’s hatred and staying away from Killian.
However, it wasn’t the case anymore.
They had been doing her wrong, treating her like a slave and making her do all the work for them while they lived and laughed happily, all because she wasn’t part of their little game. Because she was a hindrance.
Even though Amelia never saw her mother because of what happened, it didn’t mean she loved and respected that woman any less.
Maybe it was because of the number of times she was told she killed her mother that she resonated deeply with that woman.
And now that she found out her father betrayed her mother and it was probably a conspiracy that her twin brother died along with her mother...
Amelia’s fists clenched by her side.
Tears of resilience and growing hatred towards that family rolled from her cheeks.
So far, she has been doing her best to stay within limits. Even if she was retaliating, she was staying low because she didn’t want to offend Hannah without knowing the truth... but now that she knew...
Amelia suddenly smiled.
She shook her head and looked at the mark on her hand.
It was glowing with an orange energy and while she didn’t know what it meant, she was ready to accept herself as it was.
The mage’s powers that the white energy told her to unlock by accepting herself, she would do it. And while doing all this, she would ensure everyone who wrongs her mother and she would get it a hundred times.
Amelia took a deep breath and walked inside the Grand Palace herself.
Cyrus also descended the stairs and walked to her.
He waited for her to say something first and Amelia smiled at him.
"I have decided," she said.
"Decided what?" Cyrus asked with raised brows.
"I will kill them," Amelia said with a soft smile lingering on her face.
Miss Quinn, who also rushed to them and was about to ask her if she was alright, froze in her place.
Was this their soft and innocent princess who couldn’t think of hurting an ant? Was she really talking about killing someone?
Why?
"Princess," Miss Quinn said to catch her attention but Amelia smiled with finality.
Cyrus, also shocked, smiled at the girl and walked to her.
He held her hand and pulled her close, forcing her to look into his cold, blue eyes.
"I support you," Cyrus said.
He hadn’t thought Amelia would take such a big decision but he liked it.
After knowing the entire truth that was exactly what they deserved.
"Thank you. But I want to do it myself," Amelia said before she stood on her tiptoes, kissed Cyrus’s cheeks and left for the dining table because she was hungry as hell.
Cyrus took a deep breath before sighing.
She was becoming more and more mysterious these days, especially when she was nothing like the timid girl he brought in.
He should’ve known about it when he saw her standing on the rooftop and seeing her area burn in flames with a cold drink in hand.
He should’ve known that she wasn’t so simple.
Life with her wasn’t going to be simple. She made it clear many times, and for some reason, he was ready for it.
