Reborn for Revenge: Find her Fated Alpha-Chapter 153: A little note
"So?" Cyrus asked once they reached the bedroom, and Amelia turned to him with a slightly surprised expression.
"So?" She asked, feigning oblivion.
"Baby, I might be a lovesick fool, but I am not dumb." Cyrus cornered Amelia until her legs hit the bed, and she fell backwards on it.
"I... I don’t know what you are talking about," Amelia still tried to defend herself, shutting her eyes tightly as Cyrus leaned over her.
The man looked at the girl on the bed, who, though looking scared, still puckered her lips a little and couldn’t help but chuckle at her.
He shook his head and bent down before pecking her forehead, then sat beside her.
"You went there, didn’t you?" He asked with a sigh.
Amelia opened her eyes with a little guilty expression.
"About that..." she started, but Cyrus didn’t give her the chance to speak up.
He thinned his lips and narrowed his eyes at her.
"Don’t you know how dangerous it could’ve turned? What if Dominic had caught you there itself?" Cyrus asked.
Amelia looked down at her hands on her lap like a child getting reprimanded.
She wanted to explain herself, but seeing Cyrus acting so caring and loving, how could she bother to interrupt him?
"What if he had gotten his hands on you when you exited? What if I were late and the family didn’t come, and he checked the surveillance? So many things could’ve gone wrong tonight. Do you want me to murder my uncle without any control over my wolf?" Cyrus asked.
Amelia’s cheeks turned red at his words.
Seriously, what was wrong with her tonight? He was clearly scolding her, and rather than reflecting on her actions or trying to explain, she was feeling hot because he said he would’ve ended up killing his uncle for her.
Amelia shook her head, and seeing her sitting like that, Cyrus bit his bottom lip.
Why the hell was she so cute? And what was with this nightgown? Why was it so tempting? The more he looked at her, the more he grew frustrated that he couldn’t make love to her.
The doctor said the toxins in his body would take some time to extinguish completely, and he didn’t want to infect her body by...
Even the thought of shooting his seed in her womb...
Cyrus cleared his throat to divert his mind when he felt the all-too-familiar sensation down there. His blood was gushing a bit too fast, and if he didn’t distract himself, maybe that glaring boner would make its presence known all too proudly.
He sighed and massaged his forehead.
"Now don’t sit there like a wronged child. Tell me why you went there," Cyrus said.
Amelia looked at him, massaging his forehead and biting her nails.
"I didn’t go there. I appeared there," she said.
Cyrus looked at her with slight confusion.
"Hmm?" He asked.
"Can I trust you to arrange for a witch who can help me?" She asked.
The way her eyes became serious and she looked him in the eyes, Cyrus knew she wasn’t lying about it.
This was real.
"I know one," He said before he lay beside her, pulling her close so his face was buried in her chest.

The next day, Amelia went to University following her usual routine.
Cyrus didn’t want her to go, unsure if Dominic would find her at the University. But after she persuaded him about how she couldn’t stay hidden and that if the man found her, he would face the consequences, he let her go.
As soon as she reached the University, the first person she saw was none other than her sister, who was standing at the entrance talking to her friends.
What bad luck, just early in the morning. Amelia wondered and stepped out.
As soon as Amelia neared the group of troublemakers, Sasha was the first to speak.
"Are you serious about it, Hannah? Do you want to participate in that? The competition would be tough," She said.
Hannah pretended not to have looked at Amelia, and she smiled comfortingly.
"It’s okay, Sasha. I have a way with things around. Do you think I’ll act without a trick up my sleeve that would ensure my winning? I am bound to win with my father supporting me always," Hannah said.
Amelia knew the girl was yapping so loudly because she wanted to rub salt on her wounds.
She didn’t want these people to give any satisfaction and just rolled her eyes before entering.
Once Amelia left, her friends got busy talking among themselves, and Hannah looked at the back of the leaving girl.
"Ignore. Ignore all you want, Amelia. When the right time comes, you’ll see who will ignore whom. I’ll make you cry, just like my mom did for recognition. I’ll steal everything from you just like your mother took everything from mine," Hannah whispered, her eyes burning with deep hatred running in her veins.
"Oh, you are here," Ryan said, looking at her, and she nodded in greeting.
Ryan cleared his throat before unbuttoning his second button to feel a little less stiffy.
"So... I... uh...I was wondering if you wanted to–"
Amelia turned to look at him to hear him properly, and the man’s legs nearly gave out when he suddenly got her full attention.
Derrick and Aaron shook their heads.
"He is a complete loser when it comes to asking anyone out. He just needs to say, ’Hey, Amelia, we are hanging out later and going to a movie, will you join us?’ How hard is that?" Aaron asked Derrick.
Derrick smirked at his shy brother and couldn’t help but chuckle.
"Hey, stop teasing him. He isn’t a playboy like you guys. And why did you even send him alone? It’s a group thing. Couldn’t you guys accompany him?" Alpha Zane said.
Jennifer thinned her lips.
With all the things she had been seeing and observing around Amelia, she just didn’t know how to stop Ryan and others from shipping them together.
She didn’t blame Amelia. The girl thought everyone was her friend. She even said she was married to dodge them, what else could she do?
She can’t possibly tell them about King Cyrus having a thing for her until he announces it, can she?
"I think you should help him out," She said to her mate.
"Why should I? It’s their thing," He said dismissively.
"He is an alpha. He should know when to man up. He is acting like it’s a personal thing," Derrick said.
Amelia looked into the man’s eyes, and for some reason, she felt herself in his eyes.
There was a time when she used to fangirl over Killian just like this. She didn’t know if it was similar, but she remembered getting shy about giving him baked cookies.
"Yes, Alpha Ryan, what is it?" She smiled comfortingly.
"So we guys were hanging out later this evening. Will you join us?" He said with a sigh.
"When will it end? I have dinner plans with someone," Amelia said.
Ryan’s face turned from happy to down real quick before he schooled his expression.
"Dinner plans with someone?" He asked.
The dinner plans she was talking about were with Alpha Grayson, but she didn’t correct him.
It was better that he backed off while his care and crush, or whatever it was, were just temporary and in their early phase.
She had already told them she was married, but without evidence, they wouldn’t believe her. And without Amora’s permission, she wasn’t supposed to spout a word about marriage to those who didn’t know about it.
It was definitely a tiring thing.
"It should be over by seven. We can drop you at the venue where you need to go," Aaron finally chimed in, patting his brother’s shoulders.
"Is that so? I think I’ll join," Amelia said.
She thought she deserved that kind of distraction and rest from everything that had been going on recently.
"Great. We’ll see you during recess," Derrick practically dragged Ryan out of the class.
Once they left, Amelia’s expression sobered, and her gaze traveled to Hannah, who entered the class with her friends.
Their chatter from earlier repeated in her head, and she sighed.
Why did she have a bad feeling about it?
Was Hannah planning something she wasn’t aware of? She needed one of her spies to look into it so she could be prepared beforehand.
Amelia sat in her seat and opened her chemistry notebook when the professor walked in. However, before she could even read the first syllable of what he wrote on the whiteboard, a paper ball landed on her notebook.
She furrowed her brows.
It came from the window.
She turned in that direction, but didn’t see anyone there.
What the hell was this all about? She wondered before putting the paper ball under her desk.
She needed to concentrate on lectures to score well and make her husband proud.
She tried to ignore it, but after some time, curiosity got the better of her and she ended up opening the note.
"Before I hunt you down, and you lose your control, tell me, are you one of them? Did the white light appear before you, too? Do you see them?"
The note said, leaving Amelia frozen in her place.
Just what the hell was this?
