Reborn for Revenge: Find her Fated Alpha-Chapter 179: He was a vampire indeed
"She is asleep. Let her be," Cyrus told Kyle, and the two men covered their mage’s body and walked out of the room.
Kyle looked around, a smirk stretching on his lips when he saw the shocked faces of Cyrus’s subordinates, who were probably wondering what another half-naked man was doing with their king in their princess’s room.
He shook his head.
It was clear Cyrus needed to clear the air surrounding them by telling the truth to his people sooner or later.
Once they reached the office, Kyle settled on the couch, cracking the bones in his neck, his hand reaching for his mark that he forced Amelia to give him when he was about to orgasm inside her.
It was too strenuous for the girl, but what was even more laborious for them was to control their urge to mark her, to ravage her like a beast, to fuck her until she lost her sanity and they reached her end limit.
Even when she fell unconscious right after climaxing, it took everything inside Kyle to pull himself out of her body, and judging from Cyrus’s face, he had the same expression.
They wanted to continue, but their mate needed rest, and more than that, they had other pressing matters at hand, like those scripts that appeared on Amelia’s body when they both were inside her.
It was unbelievable, like nothing they had ever heard about. And it happened only when they were entirely inside her, both of them.
The moment they slipped out, her body stopped glowing. It was almost like they were some kind of catalysts for her mage powers that were making her body activate and glow.
"Should we tell the mages about it? Who would know about it better than them?" Kyle asked.
Cyrus shook his head.
"We can’t. The moment the mages found out about it, they would want to take her away to their realm. That’s what they had been talking about. It’s all about her activating her mage powers that would save their cult or something like that. Trust me, I saw their expressions when they looked at her," Cyrus said.
He saw Kyle lighting a cigarette and looked at him with a judgmental expression.
"What? It doesn’t harm us like it does to humans," Kyle said.
Cyrus hummed before his gaze turned intense.
"I didn’t ask you earlier, but... do you not have a wolf? And what about blood? You drink blood?" Cyrus asked.
Kyle looked out of the window, and he took a long puff of his cigarette before humming.
"Do you know what that makes me? I am a vampire," Kyle said.
Cyrus raised his brows and stood straight.
"You are joking, right?" He asked.
Kyle shook his head.
"Believe me, I have done all kinds of research. Do you think I chose to be like this? I searched for a solution and consulted many practitioners, but it was only after I met an ancient mage that my doubts were cleared. She told me I have been looking for my place in the wrong place; that’s why I never felt at home." Kyle paused and smiled.
"That day when I saw Amelia for the first time, I had tried opening up about my reality to my teammates earlier, but they betrayed me and left me to die.
I fought alone and ran to the mountains, wounded, and slipped into a ditch. She came into my life like an angel and saved my life. I knew she was my mate the moment I looked into those amber eyes, and I promised myself to stick to her," Kyle said before sighing.
Cyrus went silent for some time. He didn’t speak.
It was hard to believe that his twin brother was a vampire. It was something completely unheard of. How was that even possible? How can a vampire be born from werewolf parents?
Was there some bigger reason behind it? There was no doubt that Kyle was indeed his twin brother. He felt it. His wolf thought it, and more than that, Amelia felt and showed it through her mark before anyone could.
Cyrus was about to ask more about his journey as a vampire and his struggles when he remembered something.
"You went there to cause some destruction to Bentley’s estate, right?" He asked.
Kyle’s pupils dilated slightly at the mention of the estate.
How could he forget it? The girl Lilithia, whom he had abducted from the Estate, was still in the trunk of his car.
He had gone to the hospital to take the girl to Amelia and apologize, but when he heard Cyrus brought her to the royal palace, he rushed here.
And he had all the intentions of making that girl apologize first, but what was he supposed to do when his gaze met with his hot mate on the bed, ready to be taken and fucked?
He set everything aside and focused on the most important aspect first: loving his mate.
"The girl who hurt my mate is in the trunk of the car," Kyle said.
Cyrus merely raised his brows. For some reason, he wasn’t surprised. He also knew that Dominic or Patrick must be coming for him, and they would take him to the Royal Palace either way.
"In that case, let’s get ready then. I’ll show you the rest of your family. Of course, wear a mask. Let’s not reveal your identity yet," Cyrus said. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Kyle and Cyrus got ready for what was coming next and walked to Amelia, who was sleeping peacefully on the bed.
They kissed Amelia’s forehead one by one before taking a deep breath.
"I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. Now that I have found her, living without her seems pointless," Cyrus whispered.
Kyle smiled at his brother and nodded.
After all, the feelings were mutual. He could sense his brother’s thoughts about the girl.
As they were busy feeling mesmerized by their mate, Cyrus’s phone rang, and he looked at the caller ID with a scoff.
"It looks like they couldn’t do anything to find her. Let’s go," Cyrus said.
Kyle nodded before following Amelia out.
Though he was leaving with Cyrus, for some reason, he didn’t feel like leaving Amelia at all. It was almost as if he had an instinct that told him she would need him near her.
He thinned his lips and contacted his team to stay ready near the Grand Palace to protect his mate, just in case something happened before he grabbed the mask that Trevor arranged for him and wore it.
Trevor looked at his king with questions, but Cyrus ignored his gaze and sat inside the car, ready to leave and face Dominic, who was probably losing his mind.
