Reborn Heiress: Married To My Ex-Husband's Rival-Chapter 110 Another Son??
"I—I-I had no idea," Raymond whispered. Shock masked his face as he stared at Nicole.
Nicole shook her head, not sure what to say next.
The police sealed the whole place and began to carry out their investigation.
"Let’s just go back to meet the others," Nicole stated and walked forward.
Raymond wiped his face with his hand, and he blinked before following behind her. The piece of information confused him.
He should have asked questions a few years ago. She had suddenly come up to him, and broken up with him. She claimed she was in love with someone else and that really hit him. He tried to reconcile and build back their connection but she totally shut him out. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
Those were one of his darkest days and worst still, he just got into Oxford. Everything just felt too much on him. Handling school life and the heartbreak that almost made him go mad.
And now, he found out that his problem was all caused by his late mother!!
"Holy crap." He cursed.

The next few days went by in a blur. Everything had returned to normal. Mr Riley’s case was taken to court where he was charged with murder, defamation, and kidnapping. He was sentenced to 80 years in prison without bail.
That was enough. He won’t be able to add another sixty years to his age before he dies in prison. And even when he dies, his corpse would be government property until it was thrown into some river or burned.
Mr Greg Elm had it rough. He fell sick. The old man had no idea he had another son somewhere, plotting against him and his family.
Lying on his sick bed, Greg Elm tried to explain himself. Kingsley had a deep frown on his face with folded arms around his chest. He waited for an explanation.
"I had my regret after Leta left. I should have been more open with your grandmother and sort it out.." Greg Elm coughed in between, his brows were knitted, his voice was low and soft.
Kingsley twisted his lips. His arm was covered in bandages. His back was an unimaginable sight. Thankfully, he was being treated and the injuries were healing.....ever so slowly.
"I never knew you could have a thing for maids," Kingsley mumbled. "I’m not blaming you but you know you caused half of this problem."
Greg Elm nodded. "I know. I had a beautiful family and a loving wife. I was content having just your father as a child..."
"Well. You were not content enough because you settled for a maid." He hissed.
"I think that was my flaw. I should never have done that. I should have maintained a healthy relationship with my workers especially Leta. That mistake had come back to bite, not me....but you and I’m sorry for that." The old man apologized.
"It’s all settled now. Riley won’t come to our faces anymore and I don’t have a reason to panic. Unless..." he trailed off. His eyes were observing his grandfather. "Unless you have another son out there, still cooking up a plan to come after us."
Greg frowned. "Did Riley tell you he had a twin??"
Kingsley scoffed. "No. He was the only child before his mother, Ms Leta died of poor health."
Greg shut his eyes, before opening them again. His face was filled with remorse. "This is all my fault."
Kingsley patted his grandfather’s feet. " Don’t beat yourself up for this. It’s all in the past now."
"Leta would have had a good life if I had not coaxed her into having such an affair with me. Maybe..just maybe she would have still been alive. Enjoying a cozy life with a family that would love and cherish her." A single tear slid out of the corner of the old man’s eyes. "I don’t deserve to live."
Kingsley grimaced as he mocked the old man. "You look even more ugly when you cry. Especially a pretend cry like this."
The old man paused and glared at Kingsley. "I’m not pretending."
"Oh, yeah??" Kingsley raised a brow. "Try again, I’ll determine if it’s real or not."
"Get out of my ward. I need to call the doctor to kick you out!" The old man snarled, his earlier crying face had turned red in anger.
Kingsley laughed heartily before his grandfather joined. "Next time, try to use an onion. Would make the tears roll out freely and faster."
"You seemed to have learnt a new thing."
Kingsley shrugged. "Of course. I’m a married man. Jasmine loves to make breakfast for me every morning and I assist in the kitchen because I do the cooking, while she helps by staring and complimenting me."
They both rolled into a fist of laughter. The room turned bubbly as the grandfather and grandson gossiped the poor Jasmine.
"For a moment, I thought she had finally learnt how to make a meal."
"She knows how to love me, I think that’s enough. She does well in that aspect so...." He grinned. "I’ll do the cooking for the rest of our lives."
Grandpa Elm sighed deeply. "I’m so happy you both are finally back together after the hassle and trial."
"I’m glad too. The months that she was away, I almost thought that were the last days of my life." Kingsley commented but just then, his phone began to vibrate. "Excuse me, grandpa." Without waiting for a response, he made his way out of the room.
He stood in the hallway and received Raymond’s phone call.
"Hello, Boss."
"What’s the news??" Kingsley deadpanned.
"Mail just came into the office. Sent from the current leader of the Elite Fraternity named Rodriquez. He wants to host a formal meeting with you."
Kingsley remained silent for a while. His father’s people—the elites were now reaching out to him these days since the news went viral. His name was cleared and it was revealed that he had been the victim while Mr Riley did all the dirty laundry.
Does he want to go back?? Claim his rightful position in the Elites??
"Tell him I won’t be attending. And also, I never want to receive any emails from them. I’m fine at this point of my life. I don’t need them." He said curtly.
"Okay. Boss." Raymond cleared his throat. He hesitated. "Umm. Boss, It will be thanksgiving soon. I just wanted to ask for two days’ leave for.."
"Granted," Kingsley said. "I overheard Jasmine having a chat with Nicole this morning and they talked about Nicole and you going on a date with your kid, Hailey. I think you should take a week’s break."
"Thank you. Thank you, sir."
Kingsley smiled genuinely. "I’m happy for you,Raymond."
"I’m feeling fulfilled."
"I hope your boat sail sooner. And your bond with your daughter grows fast."
Raymond chuckled. "Hailey and I have this strong bond already. I just need to fix my relationship with Nicole and I think this week date would do the trick."
"Good luck."
