Reborn In 17th century India with Black Technology-Chapter 730 Bahubali 3- The Conclusion Part 1
12th January 1661
A couple of days passed by in the blink of an eye and Kavya's tummy was already showing the signs of bulging. Today she was filled with excitement and expectation, as it was the day when the third volume in the Bahubali trilogy was going to be dropped.

By her side was an exclusive editor for Kavya from the Raya Media Corporation. The editor could see the expectation and a hint of nervousness in Kavya's eyes, and she was a little nervous because if anything were to happen to Her Majesty due to heightened emotions, not to mention His Majesty the Emperor, she could not forgive herself.
She clenched her fist and came forward to cheer Kavya up,
"Your Majesty, please don't worry. All the people who had read the book in the trial run had given 5-star reviews to the book. What's more, over 500,000 copies have already been sold to bookshop vendors all over the empire, and 200,000 more have been shipped across the world." Find more chapters on novelbuddy
"The sales have already reached 700,000 copies without the book even releasing. It's bound to be a big hit, Your Majesty," she said with a little excitement on her face. It was as if, in pursuit of cheering up the Empress, she herself became very lively because 700,000 copies is not a small number. The first volume of Baahubali had to wait 6 months until 700,000 copies could be sold. As for Bahubali 2, although it was a little less, it still took 4 months."
"You have already surpassed these numbers without even officially releasing the book."
Looking at the happy and excited appearance of her lovely editor next to her, Kavya said nothing and simply smiled. She knew that these numbers were just because of her previous accumulation, and if her book ended up being a disappointment, then although she would not face a lot of backlash since she is the Empress of the empire and her early works were truly marvellous on their own, she could not live with herself.
The editor suddenly became a little downtrodden as she realised that her words did not have much effect on Her Majesty. Instead, it seemed to have made it worse. She immediately panicked and thought of ways to cheer up Her Majesty, but soon, feeling that she would only make things worse, she let out a long, deep breath and became silent as she looked at Kavya with an imperceptible hint of pity in her eyes.

News headlines in prominent positions have all transformed into information, guidance, and knowledge about the latest edition of the Bahubali Trilogy—the last volume of the collection, Bahubali III: The Conclusion.
Times of Bharat, "Bahubali 3: The Conclusion—are we going to get the answer to the question, why did Khattapa kill Bahubali?"
Bharatham Daily, "After a whole year of delay, the epic trilogy is about to be released—here's what fans have to say."
The Observer, "Bahubali 3 has already set a record even before its release—will this be the top-grossing novel of the Bharatiya Empire? The chances are high."
Kannada Nudi, "Baahubali 3 has been translated into 25 regional languages and five international languages. Is Bahubali going to be the biggest masterpiece comparable to the holy epics?"
Bangla Barta, "An unprecedented 200,000 Varaha had already been spent on marketing—will this be the next industry standard for anticipated novels and works from Her Majesty Kavya Devaraya?"
In fact, due to 200,000 copies already being printed and shipped to Europe over a month ago, the release of the novel has been synchronised around the world, making Bahubali 3: The Conclusion in its true sense the first piece of art to be released worldwide in the modern age.
Kavya's novels had quite a following in Europe as well. Although she is not as famous as local literary artists who are more grounded in local conditions and are more well-known by elites of European society, Kavya's novel has a niche in the commoners market, where her novels are found to be very relatable—being written in such a way that it is simple and easy to understand for even the most basic literate person.
La Voce del Canal Grande wrote, "Baahubali 3: La Conclusione, the third and final volume from the epic Bahubali trilogy written by Her Majesty the Empress Kavya Devaraya from the Great Bharatiya Empire. Should you check out this masterpiece? Here's what Senior Garcia Mendoza has to say about it."
Vedomosti, the recently established newspaper by Archduke Peter, featured the headline, "Бахубали 3: Заключение (Bakhubali 3: Zaklyucheniye)—A masterpiece from the Empress of the subcontinent. Do not miss it."
Gaceta de Madrid wrote, "A new Bahubali book is being released. The last two were unilaterally disliked by the literary community of Spain, but it was loved by the vast majority of readers, and it even managed to outsell some of the books from senior writers of Spain. Will history repeat itself? Stay tuned to find out."
Gazeta de Lisboa wrote, "Two years ago, His highness Pedro read the Bahubali book and gave a review of seven out of ten. Since then, it has attracted a lot of attention from readers in Lisbon and the surrounding cities. The third book of the trilogy has already been translated into Portuguese. Is this novel going to surpass Messier Charles Bourgeois and his new release?"
The buzz generated from these newspapers was not small. In fact, Raya Media Corporation spent another 700,000 Varaha worth of money in Europe on promotions. This is the same amount that had been spent all over the empire and surrounding regions, but for Meera to do this, she had her own reason. The market in the Bharatiya Empire and the surrounding nations had been solidified by the Raya Media Corporation. With the name of the Raya family alone, people came in droves to do the royal family favors in order to get into the royal family's good light, which did not cost a lot of money. But Europe is different. Despite trying to make economic inroads into Europe, the journey had been tough. So, even if the sales of the Bahubali novel will not be able to make any profits in Europe, Meera does not mind as long as it helps her establish distribution channels for publications from the Raya Media Corporation in Europe. This profit is bigger than whatever monetary profit Her Majesty could bring to the company.

In the blink of an eye, the shops all over the empire and surrounding countries, especially in the major cities and major trading ports of Europe, had opened, and all the shops across the globe put the promotional poster of *Bahubali 3: The Conclusion* on the front desk of the shops.
Meera had given a 20% commission on the books to the shop owners and also spent a lot of money printing the promotional posters in full colour. The poster alone cost five Varaha for each, and that was after it was scaled up—if it was not, then it would cost upwards of 15 Varaha.
But the money was not spent in vain because as soon as the shop was opened, the poster suddenly caught the eyes of all the onlookers on the road. Even those who had no interest in purchasing *Bahubali 3: The Conclusion* came curiously to the stalls.
David Grasso, an Italian businessman, was one of those people. He was just minding his own business and crossing the street, but suddenly, the printing attached to the shop's door caught his attention. It was of two bloodied men with muscular bodies looking at each other with viciousness and bloodlust in their eyes. Looking at this picture alone, David felt as if he was witnessing the fight between two titans, or gods.
The people on the poster looked brown, which confused him, but he thought that they were the people from ancient Greece or Rome, he had heard that ancient people had darker complexions after all.
"Senora, the artwork in the front—could you please tell me who the respected artist is? Can I buy this piece of work?"
The shopkeeper, a stout middle-aged Italian man, smiled because this was already the fifth time the poster was misunderstood for a painting. "I am very sorry, señor, that is not an artwork or painting for sale—it is simply the poster for a novel that has just been released."
"Oh!" David was surprised. "Artwork of this quality is not a painting but simply a tool of publicity?" His face squinched up as if he felt disgusted by even thinking about the artwork he saw as a publicity tool, but he was not going to get angry on this fine morning. "If that is the case, what novel is so brave to use this beautiful artwork as a mere publicity tool?"
Looking at the disapproving expression on the man's face, the shop owner did not feel offended but simply sighed—this was not the first time he had to deal with such a customer. He had already dealt with four more of this kind, and he was not even mad at them because he knew that he would react the same way. Hell, when he first heard that the poster was to be used as a publicity tool that had to be pasted in front of the shop, he almost beat the living hell out of the distributor. Fortunately, for the commission of 20%, he shut his mouth.
However, still, he was an art-loving Italian after all, so out of respect for the art, he used his own money to at least frame the artwork before he fulfilled the contract of hanging it in front of his shop. Funnily enough, this attracted more customers who felt like it was an artwork for sale, but he wasn't going to change it either since, after the promotion period, he was planning to hang the poster in his home in order to impress his guests.
What the shopkeeper did not know was that a lot of shopkeepers in Venice, Portugal, and Spain did something very similar. In the end, after the promotion was over and they made a boatload of money, the promotion poster was also stopped from production, thereby leaving only so many of these posters in existence. What's even more coincidental was that each poster had a serial number, which made it seem like an important art piece of the highest rarity.
It immediately became a collectable item—something very similar to the first edition of the *Spiderman* comic or the *Batman* comic. Its value became so high that, at some point, even the nobles who detested reading the novel written by Kavya Devaraya in simple words for simple minds to understand were very proud to have at least one poster of *Bahubali 3: The Conclusion* on their walls.
This inadvertently drove the nobles to purchase the Bahubali trilogy for the first time, and it also became an advantage. They made use of the value of limited edition selling, which added another weapon to her arsenal—but this is all in the future.
The shop owner quickly reached into the drawer to his side, pulled out a beautifully painted book, and placed it in front of David.
David took the book in curiosity, and as soon as his eyes fell on it, they lit up—this was the same picture he had seen on the poster at the front. He roughly flipped over the book, and as he did, some images passed by his eyes.
"What's this novel about? Is it any good?" he asked, having never read the trilogy.
"Oh, this novel is about a man named Shiva who finds out his mysterious background—and fights against his circumstances to come out on top. I won't say too much in order to not spoil you, but this book has received rave reviews from all the readers all over the world."
"Huh? All over the world?" he asked, surprised.
"Yes, all over the world! This is a novel written by the Empress of the Bharatiya Empire—it is one of the best novels this year!"
"Is that so? In that case, how much is it? I'll take one copy."
The shopkeeper had a cheerful smile on his face. "Would you like to buy the first two volumes as well? Since this novel is a trilogy, you wouldn't understand the whole story just by reading the third volume alone."
"How much?"
"Only 15 ducats, senora."
"Oh, it's quite reasonable."
"It's from the Bharatiya Empire, after all. Their manufacturing capabilities are impressive, to say the least."
"Oh, that I know! My hotel chains order furniture from the distributors of the Bharatiya Empire's products, after all."
"So, senora, shall I pack it?"
"Hmm… might as well."
P.S. Sorry I wrote this chapter yesterday but I couldn't edit it since I got hooked on a TV series ''Ted Lasso", i recommend the 1st season for now
