Mitchell's hair turned back to their normal color and the domineering presence coming from him soon diminished before disappearing completely.

He dusted his clothes and spat out the mouthful of blood that he had been holding back since. He put his hand in his pockets and turned to look at Tyris.

She was sitting back on her elevated throne and looking at Mitchell with amusement but a complicated expression could still be seen in her eyes.

"Well well, I would say that you fought quite well and gave a good enough show. You can leave my world after I have asked my favor". She said looking at his pale face for any change in emotion but there was none.

"What about the serendipity you said you would give me if I pass the test". He had not forgotten about it and did not want to make her forget as well.

"I have not forgotten about that. Do you want it now or after you have rested?" After looking at his pale face and his body that was trembling despite the act he was putting up to not look weak and drained.

"Let me rest first then we will continue". He waited for a few seconds to seem like he was thinking about it before giving her his answer. His body was aching terribly and he had a very severe headache. His body had healed very fast from the injuries he had gotten but the fatigue was still there.

He did not ignore how she treated him like . . . he was an equal of some sorts or she was just being very polite and respectful and he had no intentions of making her attitude change towards him. He was at her mercy. A being who could make an exact clone of him instantly and it was that powerful was no joking matter.

He was very grateful to be alive. Despite her polite behavior she was still oblivious to his life and death and if he did anything that provoked her, she would simply turn him to dust as well.

He gave a small bow before sitting down crosslegged in front of them to cultivate and regain his strength. After a few minutes, he entered a semi conscious state and when he woke up several hours later, he felt refreshed and his body no longer ached. His body also seemed to be stronger and felt faster. In fact his inflow of Qi into his body seemed to be faster as well.

'Seems like that intense fight had an effect on my body as well'. He said inwardly while admiring the changes in his body.

When he looked up, she saw Lord Tyris still looking at him in the same position he saw her in when he started cultivating.

"Are you done. Because that took a very long time. I wanted to go to sleep". She yawned and stood up from her throne.

Mitchell stood up as well and met her calm gaze in her clear blue eyes. When she was in front of him, he was still looking up to her as she was taller than him.

With her this close up, he noticed her beauty which seemed like it was made by the gods and she was perfect in all proportions. She had a wonderful scent that made him want to go to sleep.

Her hand touched his forehead and Mitchell felt a wave of cold energy entering his body and straight into his sea of consciousness. Mitchell felt his body get cold fast and his body temperature plummeted yet he did not feel uncomfortable, only a weird pleasure.

The cold energy came in waves and the power behind it increased. Lord tyris started changing and her face started to change into that of a white tiger with black stripes in the sides of her face yet it did not make her look less beautiful.

Suddenly the pain started and he felt like he was being ripped apart and healed from the inside. He wanted to release a loud roar but a low growl came out instead.

"Amazing, I didn't know your body could hold this much energy. Maybe I'll give you more". She said, her voice was very enchanting.

But it didn't help in the excruciating pain he felt like his body was being completely destroyed from the inside and being rebuilt.

When he opened his eyes, he saw Lord tyris floating with her hand still on his forehead. When he looked down, he was also floating.

He did not even have the thought of voicing how much complaint. He just wanted the pain to stop.

Waves and waves of cold energy kept flooding into his body even after a long time. There were a few drops of sweat on her face as well but compared to him, she was more relaxed.

"Don't worry, at the end of this pain you'll thank me later. Actually, you don't need to thank me. The favor I will ask of you will be too big for your strength alone to carry, so I'll give you strength to carry on my mission."

The pain continued for a while longer and then it started subsiding until it stopped altogether. He felt Lord tyris hand on his head as they slowly landed on the ground.

His head was still banging from the aftermath of the pain coupled with the recent fight he just had with the apparition. He was very very tired and his vision blackened until he could not see anything.

Mitchell woke up and see himself lying on a white bed and the young girl staring at him with a bored look on her face. He tried to get up but his body felt foreign to him. When he lifted his hand he saw it was pale white, like snow.

"Oh, you've woken up. Finally, now I have someone to talk to". she said and sat down at the edge of the bed.

Mitchell's throat was parched so he couldn't say anything, just staring at the girl. "You should be happy now that the ritual was successful. You should be more powerful than you were. I don't need you to tell me. The color of your hair says it all."

'What'. He was very confused with what she was saying so he touched his hair only to feel like it was the same but it felt much softer and colder than normal.

She saw his confusion and created an ice mirror for him to look at himself and the scene made him shocked.

He looked like the apparitions he had fought earlier. There was no difference between them. His natural black hair was now snow white. His skin was very pale and almost looked snow. Even his eye color changed from brown to clear crystal blue.

"What did she do to me". His voice managed to come out but it was very cracked and hoarse.
