"Looks like we will stay here throughout our stay in this city" Hutton said right after he came out of a taxi with Bob and Ling Fei. Along the way, they got to see DC up close.

D.C which is the capital of the United States, is a city that seamlessly blends historical grandeur with modern vibrancy. Its skyline is distinct, free of towering skyscrapers, allowing its iconic landmarks to dominate the view. The city is defined by its sprawling avenues, lush green spaces, and a mix of classical and contemporary architecture.

As soon as Hutton, Bob and Ling Fei arrived at its heart which lies the National Mall, a vast, open park flanked by some of the most recognizable monuments in the world. The Washington Monument rises like a pristine obelisk, standing tall and proud, while the Lincoln Memorial exudes solemn dignity with its grand columns and the seated statue of President Lincoln gazing across the reflecting pool. Nearby, the U.S. Capitol, with its majestic dome, commands attention as a symbol of democracy and governance.

The city is divided into distinct neighborhoods, each with its own character. Georgetown boasts cobblestone streets, boutique shops, and historic rowhouses, while Dupont Circle is lively with art galleries, bookstores, and vibrant cafes. The National Cathedral, an awe-inspiring Gothic structure, and the modern Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts showcase the city’s cultural and architectural diversity.

Potomac River winds along the city’s western edge, offering picturesque waterfront views and the striking sight of the Arlington Memorial Bridge. Cherry blossoms, especially in spring, transform the Tidal Basin into a scene of unparalleled beauty, their pink and white petals creating a dreamy contrast against the Jefferson Memorial.

This capital city is not just a city of monuments and politics; it’s alive with cultural festivals, international cuisine, and a deep sense of history and purpose. It remains a city that tells the story of a nation while looking toward its future.

And right now, Hutton along with the others is currently standing in front of a five stars hotel called the Star Constellation hotel. After observing the beauty of the hotel, they finally got into the hotel.

"Good day miss, please we would like to book three rooms for a week" Bob said right after he arrived at the receptionist desk along with Hutton and Ling Fei. And they whom they met there is someone who gives off a professional vibe as she is wearing a simple black colored suit tailored for the workers of the hotel which matches her neatly kept black hair that is all tied at the back to make a bun and her starry black pairs of black eyes.

"What kind of rooms do you want to book sir? We have the normal rooms, the deluxe rooms, the ViP suite and finally the presidential suite" the girl replied with a light smile on his face. Hearing this, Bob quickly turned to look at Hutton and Ling Fei.

"Huh? Why are you looking at us? Just pick the ones that you feel is best for us" Ling Fei quickly said right after she saw Bob staring at her and Hutton. Aftering seeing Hutton affirming to what Ling Fei said with a slight nod, Bob then nod in reply before he gave an answer to the receptionist. "Ok we would like the presidential suite"

’Going after the top quality huh?’ Hutton thought with a wry smile on his face. "If you are going for a presidential suite then booking three rooms is not needed sir since one presidential suite has four rooms" The receptionist replied with a light smile on her face as she went for one of the drawers and brought out a well designed key.

"Oh really, then that is just wonderful" Bob said with a bright smile on his face. When the receptionist saw this smile, she suddenly went into a daze for a brief moment while her heart skipped a beat. But before anyone could notice, she quickly came back to normal as she spoke up in a stutter.

"Tha....t wi...ll be.... 7,000 bucks sir"

"Ok I should be able to cover that" Hutton said as he plans on reaching out to his storage ring to fork out the money needed to pay for the suite. "Hold on their Mr. Showoff, lets split the bill" but before he could do that, Ling Fei suddenly spoke up as she quickly brought out half of the money required for the suite.

"Oh, ok then. But since when do I look like a showoff?" Hutton replied with a confused look on his face. As for Bob, he quickly took the money and gave it to the receptionist. "Please I would need your name here sir for security purposes" After receiving the money, the receptionist quickly brought out a book with a pen attached to it before she opened it while she said.

"No problem" Bob replied as he did as the receptionist instructed. After that, the receptionist then handed out the suite’s key while she said. "Your suite is at the top left part of the Hotel with the number on the key. Hope you have a wonderful stay here in the Star Constellation hotel"

"We will, thanks" Bob replied while he took the key before he left that area with Hutton and Ling Fei. After taking an elevator to the top left area of the hotel, they used the number on the key to find their suite.

"This must be it" After some moments went by after arriving at the top area of the hotel. Bob finally said as he was in front of a suite with Ling Fei and Hutton. "Quickly open up, am exhausted from the journey" Ling Fei said while she stretched out her well structured body that is still covered perfectly by the Qi Pao.

"Sure" Bob said as he opened up the suite. What enter the trios eyes as soon as they got into the suite is nothing short of gracious.

The first thing that caught their attention was the floor-to-ceiling windows stretching across the far wall, revealing a dazzling view of Washington, D.C.’s glittering skyline. The city lights twinkled like scattered stars, casting a faint glow into the room that mingled with the soft, ambient lighting. The centerpiece of the living area, a massive crystal chandelier, hung above an arrangement of plush, cream-colored sofas encircling a glass coffee table with golden accents.

Bob’s sharp eyes immediately scanned the space. The polished marble floors, the subtle scent of lilies from crystal vases perched on sleek side tables, and the absence of anything remotely out of place put him slightly at ease. But his instincts as a bodyguard kicked in, and he began mentally mapping the layout—cataloging exits, potential blind spots, and even the elegant black grand piano in the corner that seemed more decorative than functional.

Ling Fei, gliding further into the suite, let her fingers brush lightly against the velvet armrest of a chair. Her eyes traced the muted tones of the walls, adorned with abstract art that suggested sophistication without trying too hard. The dining area drew her attention next—a polished oak table illuminated by a hanging light fixture designed to mimic a starry sky, each LED sparkling like a constellation. It brought a faint smile to her lips, but it was one of the four master bedroom that truly caught her interest. Through an open door, she glimpsed a king-sized bed draped in silken sheets, flanked by nightstands carved from dark wood.

Hutton, meanwhile, lingered in the center of the living area, taking it all in with a strategist’s eye. His gaze lingered on the kitchenette tucked into one corner, its black countertops gleaming under recessed lighting, and the fully stocked minibar lined with fine wines and rare spirits. Everything was designed with precision, from the seamless integration of the entertainment system to the mosaic tiles he glimpsed in the en-suite bathroom. But for Hutton, it was more than just a display of wealth—it was a perfect balance of comfort and utility.

When all three finally gravitated toward the massive windows, the panoramic view struck them silent for a moment. The sprawling cityscape of Washington, D.C., with its iconic monuments glowing in the distance, seemed almost surreal from this height.

"Not bad," Hutton finally said, breaking the silence. His tone was casual, but there was an edge of approval.

"It’ll do for now," Ling Fei replied, her voice calm and composed, though a trace of satisfaction lingered beneath her words.

Bob, standing slightly apart with his arms crossed, kept his eyes on the reflection of the room in the glass, scanning for anything out of the ordinary. "Let’s just make sure no one else gets in here," he said, his voice steady and firm. "We can’t afford surprises."

As the city lights shimmered beyond the windows, the suite seemed to momentarily cocoon them in its luxurious embrace. But beneath the surface, each of them remained aware that this was merely a temporary haven—a place of respite before the storm they all knew was coming.
