Chapter 659: Chapter 659: Civilization Of Kings, Empire Of Destroyers

The sky was shattered with the resounding booms and bangs as entities that could crush planets clashed with each other over the void of reality.

Such was the date of this artificial chaos that the world was witnessing.

A battle so terrifying that even the few godly beings who consistently existed in a state of slumber had to be woken up so that they could observe.

The lions and the dragons were at their peaks in this era.

On one side, the Empire of Destruction Dragons, was standing on the success of their past years and the foundation they had laid down to achieve hegemony.

On the other side, the tyrants, the lions, were shockingly holding themselves up with the gains and success that they gathered in the span of a few hundred thousand years.

It had been close to a million years since the birth of the Blessed Savior, the Great King, the Sixth Primordial Lion, Noel.

By this time, the tigers were already suffering on the brink of non-existence. Having been driven to near extinction because of Noel’s divine wrath.

One could scour millions of galaxies in a row, one planet after the other, and there would be absolutely no trace of tigers anywhere.

The state of the tigers shook the hearts and minds of many concerned parties who even though they could recognize the danger the lions possessed, still did not dare to stand against them.

First of all, the lions already had a serious contender in the form of the dragons and no one wanted to ally themselves with either side at this time.

The dragons were temperamental, easily destroying everything in their desire for vengeance which they had long forgotten the reason for.

The lions saw every single creature as a pawn or tool to be used to win the war.

Unfortunately for them, this war was so chaotic that their vassals could not be efficiently involved without them dying within the next few seconds.

In a distant galaxy close to the ever-shifting center of the, a heaven-shaking battle took place.

The battle was currently occurring with a galaxy-wide heavenly gate open. Meaning that this war was happening simultaneously in both the mortalverse and the Leonine Heaven.

If one walked into the impossibly large gate that led into the Leonine Heaven, they would see that there was a land mass far larger than an average galaxy, acting as a battleground.

And even then, this land mass was shattered at multiple points with countless smaller masses floating in all directions.

A terrifying suction force swelled from the Heavenly Gate, sucking in countless planets and crushing them slowly before they floated into the Leonine Heaven to add to the land masses.

The suction force of the heavenly gate was so great, yet so subtle, that galaxies that were millions of light-years away began to drift toward the Great Heavenly Gate.

In fact, the heavenly gate seemed to be operating on some principles that caused some planets to be teleported so that they could arrive instantly.

This great heavenly gate was sustained by the collective might of over a million lion kings and dragon officials.

It seemed strange that enemies would actually be working together to hold a gate that allowed for the war to happen.

But it was the truth.

The dragons were using this gate as a point of offense and the lions were using it as both a point of offense and defense.

Some were trying to close the gate, some were trying to keep it open, and all were dying.

Even as stars were snuffed out of existence by the terrifying powers, there was still a lot of light being emitted.

One could even say that this particular galaxy was the brightest in the whole surrounding galactic cluster.

If not, then a lot of laws were converged on this place, the event of this war would still be seen by creatures far away from here millions of years into the future, provided that they had a telescope for it.

Why?

Because this half-eaten galaxy was subject to countless warp weapons and planet busters that created intense radiation.

Even the weakest lions were fitted with advanced mounted weapons or combat shuttles.

Every lion and lioness understood that the enemy was just seeking to win, he was seeking their total annihilation. They had to pour out every power.

And under the influence of the Blessed Savior, the Great King, their Morales were high.

Warp signals clashed from one receiver to the other, carrying the battle-crazed cries of the dragons and unwilling roars of the lions.

They were destroyers, and they were kings, operating under two different principles that shaped their cultures.

But today, the day they were brought together by blood and vengeance, they were nothing but warriors.

Warriors who had currently subscribed to the standard of kill or be killed more thoroughly than ever before.

Live by the claw, die by the claw. They had been briefed in that aspect before all this began, completely brainwashed so that their minds could not imagine a scenario where they had a peaceful death.

To them, as they were, a peaceful death was a fairytale that should be told to children to make them sleep better.

To them, to die by the claw was the normal way to go out and end this pitiful puppet show.

To them, only a dramatic exit could suffice for their contribution to the great stage of the universe.

And so, they fought and fought and fought.

They used their shuttles, arkships, and cannons.

When those technological advantages were destroyed, they reverted to their natural powers and tablets. Clawing at their enemies with their super abilities.

And when those things were destroyed, they used the planets as their base and their biological traits as their weapons.

They used their claws to cut through bone and their teeth to pierce through scales.

Eventually, those things would be worn out and all they would have left would be the will to fight, the will to conquer, and the will to destroy.

What did they fight for?

Did it even matter anymore?

Just fight!
