Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 666: The Influence Of War
The mortalverse.
The battle had escalated to proportions that could no longer be ignored.
For now, most of the battles were happening in the mortalverse and the primary attackers were the lions.
Their numbers were not really concentrated but they weren’t thinned out either.
Most times, they were just trying to annex a planet or remove the governor of an alliance.
The dragons were involved but not to the point where they were all descending from heaven to fight though.
One thing that surprised the enemies was the ferocity with which the lions had been attacking.
They attacked with cold determination, as though they had a reward for every person they killed or subjugated.
Indeed that was how it was.
An arkship belonging to a lion clan could arrive on a planet owned by hostile forces without warning.
The subjugation operations were always swift and brutal.
Anyone who didn’t submit was killed off immediately. There was no hesitation or stalling for them to reconsider their choices.
Submit.
Resistance? Okay, die!
That was just how it went.
They hardly spent more than a week on one planet before moving on to their next targets.
Most times, when they left a planet, the inhabitants were usually utterly defeated with many of them taken away to serve as frontline soldiers in another battle.
It was a textbook standard of alien invasion methods.
A lot of times, the lion clan would leave one lion or lioness behind to oversee the complete subjugation of the entire planet and prepare them for the battles that would come.
The lions operated as though they didn’t have that much time to play around. Once they were done with one planet, they were already checking their maps for the next target.
Their motivation was so high that it affected their success rates. At least, the Cosmic Research Coalition published on the public forums that the lions with their attack patterns had a twenty percent chance of failure.
Of course, this could also be attributed to the fact that most of the lion clans and alliances were targeting specific enemies with little presence of horses there.
By this time, the horse federation was already fighting back seriously with the occasional help from dragons.

"They’re here, as expected," Ren said as he floated in the sky with his arms placed behind his back.
He was wearing a simple white robe that fluttered in the winds under the blue sky of this planet.
"How did you know they were going to come?" A tall, humanoid male with long hair that was characteristic of the horses asked as he flew to the sky from behind.
"I didn’t, she did," Ren said, pointing to the ground. The Horse Governor followed the pointed finger to see another humanoid flying toward them from below.
The Horse Governor frowned and folded his hands. He was wearing a stylish executive black suit with a visible white inner shirt.
Although the colors were not always the same, this was the general style of clothing that the Horse Governors tended to prefer.
They operated with the might of a Heavenly Faction but did not officially have a heaven of their own.
They did not have many heavenly beacons that could be given to the governors to act as a symbol of their seat of power.
Most of the governors were either elected to that position or chosen personally by President Musty.
It was inevitable that they would start dressing in a certain type of way to use as an alternative for status signalling.
Compared to Ren, the white-robed individual, he and the Horse Governor looked like they came from completely two different worlds.
Both of them were actually handsome under human standards but Ren was just different.
His black eyebrows were thick and thin at the same time, looking like swords hanging on a rack that was his clear forehead.
With his arms behind his back, Ren didn’t have any visible traits that would let anyone know which race he was from. All the physical traits of his true form were hidden in such a way that many would think he was actually human.
Based on his aura, which was hidden, he gave off the vibe of an unsheathed sword.
"She?" The Horse Governor asked as he eyed the being coming toward him.
"Yes, despite her troubles, she’s quite competent. I bet you didn’t know that was one of her abilities," Ren said with a hidden smile.
No matter how bad he had it with others, he would never speak badly about his fellow Primordial to anyone, even if the person he was speaking to was a Horse Governor.
That’s right, Ren was a Primordial, and the humanoid female flying toward them right now was also a Primordial, both of them were directly under President Musty.
As for why they were here?
"The matriarchs have started packing up," The humanoid woman said.
She was a rough-looking individual with a tall mohawk and the sides of her head shaved to the bare skin.
The areas around her eyes were dark, her ears were long like a dog’s, and she had dots on her exposed neck.
Her skin was tanned and her muscles bulged like those of a pro athlete. Every movement she made, even the way she talked, had a touch of aggression. If one didn’t know her, they might assume that she was trying to get into a fight with the way she talked.
And perhaps, that was true.
She was the Primordial Hyena of War after all.
"Shuri, they are approaching fast, did you know?" Ren asked his colleague calmly. The Horse Governor just kept quiet.
His rank as a governor was lower than theirs as Primordials, even though they weren’t horses.
He would subconsciously look for ways to bring down the status of these Primordials in his mind simply because of the envy he felt.
"I’m aware, Ren," Shuri said, cracking his knuckles and flexing her arms.
Her piercing yellow eyes stared at the sky where multiple bright lights could be seen flashing brightly as they descended toward their world.
As the Primordial of War, she was not just a subordinate of President Musty, but also the ruler of her race and civilization.
The main read she was here, accompanied by another Primordial and a Horse Governor, was to manage the evacuation of the hyenas living on this planet.
Alas, she was not known as the most troublesome Primordial for nothing.
Even when she was young and not yet found by the President, she had brought upon her pack and race a lot of trouble.
It was all because of her passive powers as the Primordial of War.
Shuri was very sensitive to anything that was related to conflict. Even a small argument, she could sense it from hundreds of thousands of kilometers away, and that was when she wasn’t actively searching for it.
Sensiting these conflicts was one thing, attracting conflicts was another.
She could sense and also attract conflicts. It wasn’t like she was doing it intentionally, but she didn’t mind all the fights she caused just by existing.
Then there was the matter of escalation. Shuri’s presence at any place could easily cause small arguments to escalate into full-on massacres.
Shuri’s situation was both amazing and quite sorrowful. Ever since she was born, she had never truly known what it was like to live among the peaceful because everyone around her was constantly being influenced by her presence.
They didn’t just fight because they wanted to. Shuri was well-versed in a very possible event that could lead to a war outbreak and she was a master of setting those events up intentionally or unintentionally.
She had come to this planet because of the sentiment she had tied to it as it was her homeworld.
Unfortunately, her presence also meant that something bad...or good, in her case, was going to happen.
At a lower tier, the conflicts that she could cause were negligible and not important compared to the grand scheme of things.
But now when she was tier 6, her influence was massive.
Shuri was intentionally not putting a lock on her powers for a good reason. For her, suppressing her conflict-causing presence was no different from the Primordial Rat being put in bondage.
It was the most uncomfortable thing ever for her. If she continued staying in an environment that was too peaceful, she would experience Law Rejection.
There was no peace for her.
She was happy with that.
Looking at the flashing lights getting closer to them, she smiled, her sharp hyena fangs were bared as the desire to fight blurred in her eyes.
She had always heard of how terrifying these lions were. Since it was inevitable that they clashed, she might as well play with them a little.
"You let them come?" The Horse Governor realized this and asked with a furious expression.
He was just here to escort her and her race. He had no intention of fighting today just because Shuri couldn’t control herself.
"Yes, stop wussing, you should be excited," Shuri snarled.
