Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 673: The Masters
While Memphis was out testing the might of the horses and dragons, other battles were happening in different sections of the galactic cluster.
At the same time, other things were happening in the Leonine Heavenly Realm.
Before Kael had followed Memphis on her little time travel journey, some things were already happening that he needed to follow up on.
He had given Alora and Katari two different tasks.
Alora was to use the body of Victoria the Azure dragon to evolve to tier 6 unfailingly while Katari was to compile a list of missions that would encourage lions to actively start seeking ways to conquer other heavenly realms.
Thankfully, Alora had already evolved quite easily. One had to remember that Alora had spent a long time in Memphis’s time bubble back then before the Consort Trial started.
She was much much older than she looked.
Unfortunately, Kael had spent too much time inside the time machine with Memphis and Alora could not wait.
She was not like Katari who would wait without doing anything. Alora quickly became restless and had to go back down to the mortalverse to participate in the Consort Trial again, in search of her next Primordial prey.
Katari had completed the list of missions a long time ago and had been waiting patiently for Kael to review it.
It was fortunate that Kael followed Memphis for that time travel; otherwise, he would not have known the extent of his limited vision.
Once again, Kael was thrust into a state of excitement when he thought about all those heavens waiting for him to be conquered.
They were just sitting there, protected by the Gap, wasting away!
They should be brought to the glorious paws of the All-King and his lion kings for proper management.
When Kael reviewed the list of missions Katari had prepared, he realized that she had created this list with the mindset of a mortal.
No matter how incredible Katari’s mind was right now, she hadn’t experienced what Kael experienced in the time machine.
She didn’t see the power of a Supreme Immortal rip holes through the fabric of reality and punch tunnels into the Gap.
Kael knew that the best way to reach other heavenly realms without their respective heavenly beacons was going to be hard.
The easiest way to breach the gap was with the power of an immortal. But immortals were not actually plentiful right now and a Supreme Level Immortal was almost non-existent to Kael at the moment.
With this in mind, they would have to settle for finding the heavenly beacons of another Heavenly Realm that was, if they even existed in the first place.
The lions already possessed some heavenly beacons belonging to some Heavenly Realms like the Hive Heaven and the Draconic Heaven.
But most of the realms were occupied by factions that would technically give lions a run for their money, no matter how powerful the lions thought they were.
Kael made some small corrections on the list of missions created by Katari and left room for more corrections in the future. This was just the beginning, they had to leave room to be flexible as much as possible.
Kael later posted the mission with the label [Desolate Divine]. However, he did not make it a high-priority mission.
The lions were currently fighting a war and it wasn’t a good idea to redirect all their focus at once.
It had to be gradual.
As for the war itself.
Kael was seeing less significance in Ibadon’s petty desire for revenge which was the fuel for everything that was happening right now.
In his eyes, the war was a cosmic grinding machine, meant to harvest as much Conquering Essence from the Conquering Activities of the lions and their vassals.
It was also an opportunity to keep on building his strength, finding more Primordials, and tearing down an old system that did not favor him.
Before, although Kael cared at a certain level about the strength of the individual lions and lionesses, it didn’t bother him that much.
Now, he had a much higher incentive to ’persuade’ the lions to get stronger.
If he could get a few more tier 7 lions to evolve to the immortal tier, then that would enable him to try out the invasion of other heavens.
It was so exciting.
Both aspects of invading other heavens and amassing more immortals.
What was even more exciting to Kael right now was the possibility of his next evolution drawing near very fast. He could feel it. He had achieved a lot of progress in his goal to fully embody the Law of Conquering. The only thing holding him back right now was President Musty who was occupying a chunk of the pie.
Kael would either have to evolve first and solve the issue with President Musty more thoroughly then or he would have to kill Must now and enter tier 7 as a fully embodied being.
Kael chose to evolve first. Power came first.
Speaking of invasion, Kael received some good news.
Those unwilling spies of his, Constantyne and Agatha of the tiger race had finally infiltrated close enough to the center of power for the tiger race.
It had been a while since Kael had heard from them but their names started showing up all of a sudden.
According to some spies and long-distance scouts, there had been news of two Tiger Masters appearing in the ranks of the tiger civilization.
This should be inconsequential as it was normal for the tigers to ordain their strongest masters.
But Kael has told the scouts to keep an ear out for the names Agatha and Constantyne. These names were not common among the regular tiger civilization.
Constantyne and Agatha grew up in Eridoria and their names were very different from the standard that would be used in the modern tiger civilization of today.
So even though others were bearing the same name as them, it was not likely to be the same.
When the two names appeared in reports, the scouts had to dig deeper and check very well again to understand what they were hearing about.
Indeed, they confirmed it.
Based on the background checks and the mannerisms of Agatha and Constantyne, neither of them came from the tiger civilization nor did they grow up in the environment.
The story of Agatha and Constantyne was funny and somewhat eye-opening as it showed the dark side of life under the invisible thumb of the All-King and his ability to make their bodies explode when he wanted.
But before Kael could get comfortable enough to understand how he could use these assets, a Heavenly Gate was opened forcefully in the golden sky and Memphis rushed out of the portal with a worried expression.
